I was able to attempt my first digital clock! It was challenging at many times and I had to go back and forth, making sure everything was alright. But, I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with myself.
</Conclusion>:
It’s quite extraordinary what just a bit of coding can do. It can completely change a website or program.
Throughout this whole process, I learned how it takes time to create one long sequence (as I like to call it), to creating even a small program, such as a digital clock. However, after practicing coding, I began to understand the logistics behind coding. And, I began to understand how it can be beneficial to anyone, especially to students. While I attempted to create a clock, I noticed how I kept running into obstacles throughout the “sequence,” and these little obstacles allowed me to problem solve (a skill, where students can strengthen overtime!) [*hint hint, a mathematical term*].
Coding has a lot to do with math and trying to solve a problem. Essentially, by going back to the problem and seeing the mistake and trying to solve it. Therefore, I believe this may help students with their mathematical skills as well. On the other note, I noticed I was inputting the information in order to command an action.
I hope this blog may be used as a guide for other teachers to utilize and for myself, to be able to go back, and use these valuable resources.
I really enjoyed going through this process because I believe coding can be enlightening. It holds so much potential and many jobs have been created from it. In the digital world we live in today, our technology is constantly improving. It's important to understand different fields of education. This will allow children to explore different types of fields, one as creative and interactive, as this one!

We're getting there...
I dropped the "PM" and changed the color from pink to a blue. However, it's still in the same size and still set at the same time.

Getting somewhere cont.
Ok. This is actually quite fascinating and fun. Just imagine students having the opportunity to do it!
P.S. I noticed how concentrated I was while I was coding. And, how I was able to recognize the terminology (programming language), and what happened once I did apply the key words.

It took half the page but at least the size of the text is much bigger.

Uh...
Ok, I am getting somewhere I guess. I managed to create a digital clock but it's not where the position is supposed to be on the page and it's not showing the exact time...[scratches head].

Hm...
Ok, me again.
I did something! Well, attempted to...create a digital clock? For a while, I just played around with different HTML codes. TBH...HTML coding is hard because there are many things you have to remember. And, location matters, as well as, organization too. Basically, it has to be in the right format. Even just a simple bracket or other symbols, like these ones, "<," "/," etc have to be placed in the right spaces...And no, this symbol ">" is not a greater than sign.

What I found interesting when researching about coding, is that, there are many programs to use. Such as, HTML, PYTHON, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, etc...which is great because for students, as they advance in the world of coding, they will be able to use other highly well known programs.
And with my experience practicing coding, I've noticed a few things...
It can be difficult to start with BUT it's not impossible once you put your mind to it! Therefore, for any teachers looking to introduce this skill, that is both science and math, it would be a great start. In addition, keeping students motivated throughout the process, will constantly give them the right push they need! Especially, for the students who might need a little nudge.
Furthermore, did you know, kids can start learning coding at the age of 7? Although, that is quite young, this can actually be a good thing because as students get older, it can actually improve their academic performance. Even, with students with disabilities, can highly benefit from coding. There are many resources to help children to code.
As they progress, it leads to other beneficial factors. Such as, boosting their self-esteem, strengthens their computational thinking, stimulates creativity, and teaches them to be better problem-solver thinkers! Which are great tools (skills) to have because we want our students, as they get older, to be the best version of themselves, while also getting ready them ready to have a place in society!

Websites
Okay, I don't know if it's just me but has anyone ever looked at websites. And, I mean, really looked at them? These websites are...inspiring, to say the least. These websites will have you thinking, "HOW ON EARTH DO YOU EVEN BEGIN TO MAKE THAT?"
Take for example, the designing that went into Apple's website. It's interactive and engaging: https://www.apple.com. Or, what about: https://www.latimes.com. OR: http://www.mikiyakobayashi.com. OR: https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/home.html. AND, ONE LAST ONE: https://opusgrows.com.

<tools> and </resources>
Yellow there, it's me again. :) Just here to put out in the universe some awesome content for y'all.
Here are some websites you can use, that I used:
>GOOGLE (I know, the most generic response ever. BUT, there are tons of websites you can use, and for research purposes as well).
>YOUTUBE (tutorials, on the World Wide Web??? Sign me up! P.S. this is great for any of my visual learners, this especially for students).
>TIINY.HOST (It's used for testing but it can also be used to practice. It's great if you do not want to download different applications. Some applications do cost $$$. Boo...I know).
>CODEINSTITUTE.NET (if you want to learn coding, you gotta learn the terminology).
>WEARETEACHERS.COM (a website that has many resources [not just coding], where teachers can use in their very own classrooms).

My experience with coding thus far...
Hello again!
With the time given, for me, because I don't have experience in actual coding, the first step was learning about coding and how coding can strengthen young children's cognitive skills.
However, I also want to document my findings and how I applied those findings, to this blog.
I am using HTML and hopefully, as I advance, I can learn more about the other programs, and be able to dedicate my time to creating websites or small programs!

Coding cont.
Learning about coding allowed me to see just how great this skill can be, and, overtime, I was able to see the benefits stemming from it. Which made me think...about my future students. How can they benefit from coding? How would they feel as they venture into the world of coding? Will it be difficult? Would they like it? Will they want to learn more about it? Can educational activities be created from it? What are some ways students can learn coding?
So many questions...

What is coding?
When thinking of coding, what is the first thing that comes to mind? You probably envisioned a person behind several computers, typing away. However, there is so much more than meets the eye. You could say coding is intricate but it can also be rewarding!
Essentially, coding or computer programming, sends instructions where computers are able to follow, to carry out tasks.
-> Side note here:
Coding is everywhere, our technology today is created from coding itself, even across social media platforms, even the one I'm using to create this blog! The digital world would not be able to advance without the usage of coding.
