Changing the roof, the group decided on a less clustered more random style of stars but still keeping the galaxy texture -Kahu

Attempting to add a few stars to the galaxy background on the roof after the feedback from lecturers. In progress. Needing to add in the lights and change a few things around.

Playing with perspectives of new roof -

Had another group critique and have decided to merge Georiga’s galaxy designs and my roof stars together. Using less roof stars. Her galaxy looks nice in twin motion with the reflections of the lights, and with the added stars this design will look like a dreamy roof.

Development idea - I added  a galaxy texture to my model and in twin motion I used the spot light to give the glowing light effect on the roof which gave it an aluminous dreamy space feel. With the use of the lightening effect on the roof it gave off a reflection from the water which made it look really beautiful. 

We plan to use this texture in our final model.

Idea development - adding windows to the front “cloud” like shape to make our meeting space feel more inviting and not so closed in from the outside. Using the windows opens up the space from the inside but still gives the dreamy feeling. Also the windows will fog up with condensation from the hot pool and give a ‘cloud’ like effect emphasising the dream aspect.

Development of idea - using a galaxy texture for the roof and projecting lights onto it so it illuminates and gives the impression of hang a star like/galaxy roof.

Developing onto a final roof we all agree on, these are definitely stronger to the previous final.

- Looked at all the things from the critique and each of us took these and developed the ideas on our own - played around and with some trials, and took it back to the group in an open discussion between everyone.
