The Best of Me

Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole fell deeply in love with each other when Dawson saw Amanda at a certain restaurant and when Dawson helped Amanda to fix her car and finally, she asks him to go on a date because he doesn’t know how to flirt.  At first, they doubted rather they have different perceptions. Their love for one another grows. They went on a secret place and talked after that, when they are heading home, Dawson gave her a flower and kissed her. But something bad happened when their senior year came to a close, that this two couple would be apart.  Dawson’s father went to tuck’s house and revenged for what he did. Dawson came and went on his father with a riffle and they argued. Accidentally, Bobby was shot and Dawson was put in jail. In that situation, When Amanda visited Dawson, he cuts her off but Amanda didn’t lose hope and still continues to visit him but he doesn’t like to talk her.

Now, 21 years later, Amanda and Dawson are summoned back for the funeral of Tuck, that news broke their heart. In a long period of time, finally they meet again. Tuck to amanda: you have that never healed, you have live for them so long . You wouldn’t notice that it is there anymore. Pain has deep roots. Dig it out. Forgive him and forgive yourself. They are together for quite so long and they talked. Reminisced Memories. Amanda revealed to Dawson the truth about her car that she just did it on purpose. Way back on what happened on the past, Dawson did the same thing, grabbed a rose and kissed Amanda as well as the other events. Sadly, they have to say goodbye because Amanda is committed toher husband and his son.

Along with the road, Dawsons siblings came for revenge and when dawson is at his phone call his father shot him. Amanda’s son was involved in a accident and he needs to a heart transplant. So when Amanda was sleeping he dreamed of dawson and suddenly her mom came and told her that Dawson was killed by his father. As times pass by, Jared called his mother and told her that it was Dawson’s Cole heart.

      What life lessons can be learned from this movie?

-          The moral lesson of this story is no matter how pain is rooted in your heart, always forgive.

      What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?

-D: What are you gonna do?

A: What do you mean?

D:If you are unhappy? Do you know what does it feels like to me? Fate.

Chance to see and say sorry again and to say how much I STILL LOVE YOU.

A: You want me to fall back In love again with you? How do I that If haven’t ever stop?

D: I never stop loving you

A:Why didn’t you?

D: I wanted to do something good, I wanted to save you some of the pain.

A: You didn’t save me from anything, I have lived with the pain everyday with my life Dawson and I blame you, I blame you for thinking  what’s best for me, when it was you that is best for me.

A: I would’ve chose you no matter what and you took it away from me

D: I made a mistake

A: Yes you are

D: I hurt you

A: I still love you.

Based on my opinion, this part of this movie is the most powerful and made a great impact in an individual’s emotions which we all know that this scene answers all the questions.

      Did anything that happened in the movie remind you of something that has occurred in your own life or that you have seen occur to others?

-          Yes it did, especially when someone hurt you and the pain is still there but my aunt said that no matter how hard it is to forgive, always forgive.

      If you had a chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be?

-  If i had a chance to ask some of the character, I would ask amanda, You said that you could do anything for him and you can still wait as well but now, youre already married.How is that?

Technology Review

We are living in a modernized world. Thus, technology has made the biggest impact in every individual’s lives. We all know that communication plays a vital role in a person’s lives.

A cellular Phone is a telecommunication device that uses radio waves over a networked area and is served through a cell site or base station. A fixed location, enabling calls to transmit wirelessly over a wide range to a fixed land line or via the internet.   (https://www.techopedia.com)

In addition, Cellular phones are handy and is easy to use for academic and purposes and many more

A Cellular Phone contains:

Battery: the power supply, which supplies power to the different parts of a cellular phone to do their specific functions and job.

Circuit Board: it is the brain of the phone wherein it controls everything that lies beyond the screen.

Case (the screen and its body): It protects the entire circuit board.

Microphone: for the audio

Camera: we all know that some of the reason why people wanted to buy a new phone is because of its high quality of camera. Camera has lenses and flash. It is for capturing the best moments of our lives.

Sensor and the other parts and components of a cellular phone.

People nowadays, especially the youth, always uses a cellular phone in our daily lives, for us to communicate and to know the informations around the world. Going back to the past few years,  Letters are used for communication but nowadays, in the modernized world, Cellular phones are mostly used for communication and for academic purposes and that is why I chose this technology as my favourite one because it makes my life easier , not just for me but for all as well.

Entitled to Success

I am Kyla Batolos Guiang, 17 years of age, from the peacock of the north, Kalinga.          

Kalinga is known for its rich culture. Ykalingas were known to be head hunters ,some people will  say that we are “dangerous” but we are not. In fact, Ykalingas are known for its heart-warming attitudes.

I completed my Junior High School at Saint Theresita’s School of Tabuk, Incorporated, where the school also offers a good-quality education in which I received 7 Certificates and a silver medal ( With High Honor). Saint Theresita’s School  of Tabuk helped me to become independent, they taught me to develop my potentials and capabilities.  I love dancing and I am Passionate about it, but the most important to me is my Academics. I am a former Band Majorette at St. Theresita’s School of Tabuk Drum and Lyre Band for more than 6 years. STS Drum and Lyre Band won many competitions with 5 consecutive wins and is entitled to be the Hall of Famer in which they prohibited us to compete to another competition in the city. Also, STS Drum and Lyre Band competed many competitions in Panagbenga Festival (Baguio) and which at that time when Miss Universe was held here in the Philippines, STS  Drum and Lyre Band was one of the participants who joined and accompanied the Miss Universe Candidates and Miss Universe Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach  all throughout the parade. Sadly, I had to say good bye to them but memories will be here in my heart and I will always cherish them, For I am a Theresian. My Mother, Dolores Guiang and My Father, Peter Guiang, are the love of my life. My mother  took care of me since I was in her tummy. Althroughout the journey, I never felt that I am not loved. They supported me in everything that I do and they disciplined me to become independent and that’s  a good thing.  I have Two Sisters named, Kyna and Karyl and yes! all of our name starts with the letter K including our cousins and that makes us unique . I always had fun when I am with them but sometimes, they are annoying, but I love them. My siblings are also an Academic Achiever and on that way, we made our parents proud. But, We cannot accomplish things without the help of God and our parents. I am so grateful and blessed. I have a Boyfriend, he’s my inspiration. My mother likes him and she did not disagreed to us which makes me more happy. I love traveling with my whole family especially during summer and Christmas Time. My Family may not have it all but the best thing about our family is that we love each other and that is the most important thing to me.

 Studying here in Saint Paul University Philippines is one of my “goals”. Studying here alone may be hard but I can assure myself that I will graduate here, for I know that they teach us well not just in academics but also on how to build up our character as a Paulinian. Studying here is tough and sometimes I just want to give up but I never lose hope and still I will always stand firm and fight for what is right for me and for my family. I know that studying here in Saint Paul University Philippines is worth it. Hopefully, 10 years from now, I will Graduate  and become a Professional Dentist and eventually make my own clinic and still, I will make my parents proud again.

 I believe that choosing  STEM will eventually  help me in my goals for I will gain more knowledge and understanding as well as enhancing my skills in the fileld of science. I chose STEM because I know that choosing this strand will prepare me to college. Moreover, STEM will definitely help me in my course in college.

 Choosing a course is difficult. Good-Decision making is hard to achieve but if you make a right choice,  your Career will be a success. I want to take Bachelor of Biology before taking up  Doctor of Dental Medicine. I don’t know what came up into my mind when I chose to become a Dentist someday  but I know that I will pursue it and make my goals a success.  I know that this career will make me a successful person and someday I will make my parents proud again.

 As much as I want to learn more about Biology, I would like also to enhance my skills in Mathematics as well as learning the ways on how to be safe on the Internet  in the field of Technology.

Students  somewhat doesn’t take  Empowerment Technology seriously But they don’t know that this subject will help you to prevent and avoid malwares in browsing the Internet. I want to learn and widen more on my knowledge and understanding  about this subject. I know that you can help us ma'am.
