“Man! Man I love the CCC so so much! It’s such an amazing piece of art! And I love the characters so much! I love how they eventually get along and rebuild themselves after so much internal strife and fighting! How Heart and Mind come to eventually understand and befriend one another!I do so so love listening to The Whole World and You and We’re Gonna Wn! And I totally absolutely love knowing, while listening to those songs , that all of it is going to get reset again. That they’re going to split apart again. That they’re going to forget themselves and forget all their progress and go back to hating eachother again because of a cycle they have little to no control over! I love hearing them beg and plead not to have to do all that over again in the beginning of Time Machine reprise only to be told ‘no’ to their faces! I love how utterly lost and exhausted Soul is by the end of that song and in Dream, where he has to resolve to try and make this work and pick himself back up after all of that ‘ one more time’ while simultaneously forgetting he must’ve said ‘ one more time’ about fifty other times before that! It’s great! I love it so much!” I say through gritted teeth while shaking and crying on the floor.
