we are having danger days summer!! we are dying our hair and driving our cars too fast and getting sunburned!! we’re making art and participating in the local music scene and eating junk food and spending all our time with our friends!! and killing government employees also.

Headcannons about the x-men that just ARE true

Charles reads bedtime stories to the younger kids in a group after dinner. They are working through Redwall right now.

Erik has about four students he enjoys at any given moment and they are never students you would expect. He will mentor them when he's not being a international terrorist.

The brotherhood doesn't do bonding activities; the x-men have game night on Wednesdays.

Charles and Erik will defend the others name no matter what even if they are off to kill each other.

Half X-Men have all slept with each other, and no they are not addressing it.

The X-Men and The Avengers meet for dinner once a month to assess known risks to the city and decide how to divy these up. The Avengers are unwilling participants, and it usually devolves into Tony and Logan racing to see who gets black out drunk first.

(Charles, in fact, got drunk before either of them, but he can handle it well enough no one knows. He never remembers these meetings)

Erik has impeccable posture.

Spider-Man has beef with Magneto. No one has informed Erik of this and he likely couldn't pick him out of a crowed if he had to.

i think that most of the fandom agrees that Erik can cook really good and likes when Charles appreciates it but i like this hc on a deeper level and you guys need to hear me out on this. Erik is a holocaust survivor. that guy had to starve for a long time. for him food meant safety and survival. when he makes something and wants to give it to Charles it's his primary instinct saying "i care about you, i want you to live so i will share this very precious resource that ensures survival with you" (even though food is not a "precious resource" anymore)
