Heft To Bio-Economy As Composting Is Made Compulsory There
France deemed composting essential in a strong campaign against careless waste disposal. As Fintech news updates in India of January 1, 2024, all French individuals, families, and enterprises are required to compost.

By using the waste, less toxic chemical fertilizers will be employed in agriculture through the production of composts and fertilizers. Furthermore, the government Environment news updates in India plans to use it for methanization, a process that generates power or heat from the methane that escapes from decomposing organic waste.
This supports France's energy transition law, which sets a goal for the country's gas consumption to reach 10% renewable gas by 2030. For homes and businesses to comply with the composting regulation, all local authorities across the country must give biowaste collecting bins to all of their citizens.
To aid with local implementation initiatives, the Agency for Environment and Energy Management, or Ademe, has set aside €100 million.
Depending on whether public organizations choose to contract collection to the private sector, this law could benefit existing entrepreneurs in the organic waste collecting field. A biowaste firm in France called Green Phoenix is competing with the Strasbourg government for public contracts to collect waste in the city center. A Tech news updates in India startup that is comparable is called Les Alchimistes.

Bone Chilling Study Reveals 2,40,000 Plastic Parts in Just 1 Litre Water Bottle
Read more Articles: https://techandenvironment.com/
According to a recent study, an average one-liter (33-ounce) bottle of water contains almost 240,000 plastic fragments. According to the researchers' findings, a sizable fraction of those fragments had not previously been documented, suggesting that the health hazards attributed to plastic pollution may be greatly exaggerated.
Published on Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences journal, the study is the first of its kind to evaluate bottled water for the presence of "nanoplastics," or plastic particles smaller than one micrometer, or one-seventieth the width of a human hair. It underwent peer review. Bottled water may contain up to 100 times more plastic particles than previously believed, as earlier research only considered microplastics, or particles between 1 and 5,000 micrometers.
Particles Are Too Small To Infiltrate Blood:
Nanoplastics pose a greater risk to human health than microplastics because they are smaller, more capable of entering the bloodstream, affecting organs, and passing through human cells. Furthermore, the placenta allows nanoplastics to enter the bodies of fetuses. Scientists have known for a long time that bottled water contains certain nanoparticles, but they lack the instruments to pinpoint which ones.
