Dai Anga Mosque, was built in 1635 in honour of Zeb-un-Nisa, Dai Anga, the wetnurse of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan. (at Dai Anga Mosque, Lahore)

Mariyam Zamani Mosque, Lahore’s earliest surviving examples of Mughal-era architecture. Emperor Jahangir built this mosque to honour his mother, Maryam Zamani.

It was built in 1614. The interior of this mosque is embellished with extensive fresco work, which is floral in design and calligraphy on the walls.

This is the first mosque in Lahore to feature this work, which later influenced construction of larger Wazir Khan Mosque. (at Mosque of Mariyam Zamani Begum)
