Quote
The humans live in time but God destines them to eternity. He therefore, I believe, wants them to attend chiefly to two things, to eternity itself, and to that point of time which they call the Present. For the Present is the point at which time touches eternity.

Dear God, I surrender to You. Make known to me Your purpose for me, Your will for me. Renew my heart, my spirit! My life, my soul, my dreams, my past, present and future, I lift up unto You. I trust You with it and there’s no other decision in my life that could ever be greater than deciding to choose YOU and acknowledge You. AMEN! heart emoticon

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time…
Nothing happens to you by accident when you have God in your life. Even a “chance” meeting with someone is part of His plan to set in motion His blessings in your life. He can place you at the right place at the right time, even through your daily decision-making.
Beloved, God can also make all things beautiful in its time for you. As you involve Him in your daily life and trust His love for you, you too will see Him lead and place you at the right place at the right time to enjoy His blessings.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
This chapter, Hebrews 11, is often called the Hall of Faith. In it we read of all the great men of faith recorded in the Scriptures. Here we learn that faith is the key to pleasing God.
First, we need faith to come to God—to believe he exists and then trust him for our salvation. Then, our continued abiding faith—the kind that causes us to seek him daily—offers the promise of a dynamic, rewarding walk with the Lord.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong … 1 Corinthians 1:25–27
Do you often experience feelings of inadequacy? I know I do, especially when it comes to the calling of God on my life. In reality, most of God’s servants feel inadequate, and there’s a very good reason for this! God designed the Christian life to be this way so that we would absolutely depend upon him for strength, power, and wisdom.
Instead of all the honor going to the intelligent, powerful, and noble people of this world, God ends up getting all the glory for the great things we “foolish followers” accomplish through him. Don’t be ashamed or embarrassed by your weaknesses and inadequacies—embrace them, for they allow the glory of God to shine through your life.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
Life often feels confusing. If we’re experiencing a tragedy or great turmoil, we might begin to doubt that God is in control. But these words remind us that the Lord is sovereign … even in our pain, even in our troubles. Through it all, his love is transforming us, perfecting us, completing us.
James MacDonald in Gripped by the Greatness of God, explains it this way: “God’s sovereignty is first painful, then slowly powerful, and over much time seen to be profitable. It is to be studied with great sensitivity for the experiences of others and deep reverence for the One who controls the outcomes of every matter in the universe.”
