The library is quiet, interior lit by oil lamps, yet Wooyoung is drawn to it, his desire to further his research leading the mage’s actions. He’s looked everywhere for the books he needs, but no luck whatsoever has come his way. It’s amusing and frustrating – the memory of the Prince’s warning still fresh in his mind as he pushes past the doors, stepping into the dimly-lit building.

‘You’re but a mere human, Jung Wooyoung. Don’t incur the Siren’s wrath with your frivolous research.’

To hell with Hongjoong’s chastising remarks. Warmth wraps itself around his shoulders, soothing the chills from the night air. It’s nice. He could stay here all night in fact—

“How may I help you?”

Y/n watches with curiosity as the new visitor yelps, stumbling back in his surprise, seemingly not expecting the librarian to be there. Standing behind their desk, they tilt their head, waiting for the answer to their question. Of course, unless there is something wrong with him..?

“Do you scare everyone who walks in like that? Hell…” He groans, fixing his robes before speaking, “but yes. I could do with some help; for my research.”

Research? Y/n’s interest piques, and they lead their guest to the shelves of books penned by all manner of scholars. A pleased smile finds its way onto their face when excitement sounds by their side, the stranger clearly happy with y/n’s selection of research material.

“If you require anything else, I shall be at my desk.” And Wooyoung bows his head in thanks as the librarian returns to their spot, eager to dive in and absorb all the potential knowledge looking back at him. Take that, Kim Hongjoong; the magic of Lemuria will be his to learn, Siren’s wrath be damned.

Lemuria…Lemuria...

He reaches for one of the books, and the librarian is back by his side in a flash of light., stopping him in his path. What is it with people stopping him from furthering his research? He turns his head, only to be met by a deep oceanic glow staring through his soul.

“Human mage, if it is Lemurian magic you’re after, you will not find it within these shelves.”

“Tell me where I can, then. Where will I find research into—”

“I will show you to the archives, human mage.”

“Wooyoung.” Y/n pauses. “My name is Wooyoung. Jung Wooyoung.”

“I see. In that case, I am y/n, and I shall show you to the archives.”

Finally. He’s finally one step closer.

“Lead the way."

the night felt cold as the rain hit your skin harshly as you walked down the street alone by yourself. this whole night felt like just one big disaster after another.

everything was to go so well tonight with spending time with the boys, celebrating your birthday together. but how can you celebrate with them if they don't even remember it was your birthday?

the nine of you were suppose to celebrate together at a restaurant together, but you were the only one to show up. your text messages were left unread and calls were left unanswered.

it didn't help that your umbrella broke before you could even attempt to use it. all you wanted to do now was to go home and celebrate what little time you had left of your birthday. alone.

when you finally reached your apartment, you are quick to change into dry clothes before making your way into the kitchen to pull out the cake you had bought that you originally were going to share the guys, but that obviously wasn't going to happen.

looking at the clock you notice you had ten minutes till midnight, until your birthday was over. as you set the cake up, you keep checking your phone, waiting for any last minutes messages to come throw. at this point they didn't even have to say anything like "happy birthday" or "sorry for ditching you!" it was just nothing...

"happy birthday to me... happy birthday to me... happy birthday to me... and many more," you sing to yourself before blowing out your candle with just a minute left of your birthday.

when the clock strikes midnight, you realize you spent another birthday by yourself.

hi so a little while back this user (jjkxfics7) on instagram stole my work and the work of many other writers.

they privated the posts after getting called out but then recently unprivated their account and unprivated all the works that they were called out for stealing. they also claim ‘all rights reserved’ under all the works they’ve stolen and take the praise for their ‘writing’ despite it not being theirs to begin with.

specifically, my hongjoong fic was stolen and reworked into a jungkook fic called a deal with the devil in two parts

i don’t know the identity of all the other works that were stolen but if you do and you know who the original authors are please add them onto this post and help in reporting the accounts and the posts to get them to remove the stolen work.
