“Well, you know the two of us love you beyond comprehension, baby.” Tegan mused, smiling up at him and her fingers moved over his chest, tracing hearts.

Freddie laughed shaking his head at her “I don’t care if she doesn’t like me, the only two people I care about are you and that sweet girl through there.”

“No you’re right.” She nodded, pursing her lips and she sighed slightly. “She definitely has no room for judgement, and if she wants me to like her she better not give you shit.”

“Well.. no offence to her but wasn’t she involved with that Mayor guy? He was a demon, so I don’t see how she can’t like me because he was a dick. He tried to eat a whole bunch of kids on their graduation day.” He mused.

“Well I mean, I won’t speak for her but I’m hoping she won’t dislike you right away.. and if she does well that will be something she regrets.” Tegan mused then she looked to him with a smile, pressing her lips back against his.

“I’m not so sure.” He laughed slightly before shaking his head at her and he let his fingers trail up and down her back. “But if you think so then I will believe you.” He chuckled and then he pressed his lips to hers.

“I think.. that she would like you, I mean you’re not an asshole and I love you plus your Sasha’s dad. She is scary though, certainty.” She laughed slightly and stayed leaning into him when his arms wrapped around her. “Shut up.” She laughed and pressed her lips to his jaw.

“I can imagine.” He mused and he let both arms wrap around her just holding her as she spoke and he listened his eyes on her face as his lips pressed to the top of her head. “I haven’t ever met her but I do know she’s scary.” He chuckled and his fingers played with her hair. “Yeah Slayers have this thing where they end up either in bed with their enemy or friends with them.” He teased.

“I think… I’m still in shock.” Tegan admitted, looking to Freddie’s face and she nestled more into his side. “She is a scary woman, and it explains a lot with my temperament I mean my parents are practically wallflowers.” She breathed. “She isn’t too bad though, at least not anymore and.. I love you so I don’t think she’d do anything plus she’s like best friends with that angel dude.”

He closed his eyes over when she kissed his jaw, holding her against him and he looked down at her, his brows creasing at her words. “So you.. are you okay? I know what it’s like to find that crap out, I know how it feels.” He mumbled and he played with her hair, his eyes still on her face. “Faith Lehane is your mother? I don’t know if I’m scared by that or not.”

Tegan smirked at his words, then as he went on she pursed her lips and pulled him in closer and pressed her lips to his jaw. “i’m sure they are ok, hiding out someplace and all of that.” she assure him, then wet her lips and shifted to look at him. “Apparently… i’m adopted. My parents never had the stones to tell me, it would explain why i’m an only child they can’t have any of their own but uh.. that’s not all.” she paused a moment, playing with his hand in hers. “Faith.. the slayer Faith, she’s my mom. She had me at 16 and gave me up, she told Buffy all this and that from time to time she checks up on me which I thought was just ya know slayer to slayer shit but..”

“I don’t have pals.” He scoffed shaking his head before he shrugged. “The pals I did have were either human or dead.” He smirked slightly and then he shook his head. “I haven’t seen them since this whole thing went down I don’t even know if they’re alive.” He puffed out a breath before raising a brow. “What?”

“I’m sure all your demon and vampire pals just adore me.” she smirked, knowing it was the exact opposite, her fingers trailing over his chest. “Do your parents know about Sasha?” Tegan asked, then she wet her lips. “So I found something out… I talked with Buffy the other day, she’s in town now.. she told me something.”

“Yeah I can see you now all sexy and kicking demon and vampire ass.” He grinned helplessly at her rolling his head to look down at her. “They definitely did.”

“I’d probably not even be here, I only came because of Sasha - i’d probably be slaying anything that wasn’t human that tried to cross that border.” she shook her head, looking up to him. “Both of our lives worked out for the better.”

“Yeah.” He laughed and he pressed his lips to the top of her head closing her eyes over. “You know, I don’t know what I’d be doing with my life if it weren’t for you.”

“Absolutely, I mean.. a demon and a slayer, something so taboo happening is meant to be I would say.” She mused, pressing her lips to his chest and smiled.

“I do.” He nodded and his fingers twirled her hair and he couldn’t help but smile at her pulling her in close. “You do too, huh?” He asked looked down at her with a smile.

“You really believe that?” she asked, a smile still on her features and she nodded her head. “I do too though, or at least I like to think so.” Tegan told him, she rested even more into his side.

“I’d have found my way to you eventually. And we would’ve had Sasha, so even if we weren’t here. I reckon, we’d still be together.” He smiled down at her and then raised his brows.

“Well, i’m quite glad that is not the case that you have the two of us.” she mused, smiling over at him and she rested her head against his. “I know it was probably a dumb question, you would be out there doing whatever if we weren’t around.” 

“I know you do.” He mused lightly and he closed his eyes over and listened to her breathed before he shrugged at her question. “Not here probably, just.. I don’t know around I guess.”

“You know I love you too, Freddie.” he breathed, her fingertips tracing over his heart and she hummed lightly. “If it werent for me and Sash, where do you think you would be right now?” she asked softly.

He smiled against her lips feeling her pull him closer and his arms instantly went around her and he held her against his chest as he pulled back to catch a breath. “I love you. So fucking much.”

“I know you do, handsome.” she mused, then she closed her eyes over as his fingers moved over her back and she pressed her own lips back against his and she pulled him just the slightest bit closer.

“I love you too believe me.” He smiled and he kissed her head. His fingers trailing up and down her back before he let his lips press to hers.

“I know you wouldn’t, it’s part of what makes you the man that I love.” she mused, her hands sliding up and down his arms and she couldn’t help but grin at him.

“I would never ask you that, baby.” He mused shaking his head as he played with her hair and he rolled his head to look down at her. “But I’d trade it all too.”

“I know, handsome.” She mused with a smile and then she closed her eyes and just sighed contently. “You know what, I never knew I’d feel this way but.. I’d trade everything for days like this, all my slayer power and just. Everything.”

“Believe me baby I’m not gonna be changing my mind about anything either.”‘he mused pressing a kiss to her nose as she nestled into him and he smiled down at her.

“So you say, buuutttt I think that would be the both of us because i’m not going to be changing my mind about you anytime soon, m’love.” she mused and she grinned, looking him over and she nestled even more into his side. 

“You may or may not have mentioned it once or twice.” He smiled at her as he closed his eyes when her lips hit the side of his head and his arms tightened around her holding her as close to him as he could. “You however are the amazing one.”

Tegan moved along with him, a smile forming on her lips and she couldn’t help but giggle as she was lifted into his arms and he jumped on the bed. “You are amazing, I don’t know if i’ve mentioned that lately.”  her lips pressed to the side of his head.

“I know you do, Teags.” He smiled at her before nodding his head and pulled her towards the bedroom lifting her up just an inch of the floor as he walked back in jumping onto the bed.
