Alrighty, so, after being the subject of some childish rumors I decided to take a short hiatus to clear my head and leave the annoyance behind for time. In those couple of days, turning into weeks, I found myself happier and even physically healthier away from this blog, this fandom, and the rp community in general. In this i've found my time is better spent pursuing reality and though I wish all of my former partners well, this blog is officially and finally an archive.

♙ : Character my muse hates

Izumi doesn’t particularly hate anyone, as she believes regardless of her annoyance that most all people have purpose for her to benefit from. A player does not detest the pieces on a chess board but the force wielding those against her- hence, she believes her battles lie in the hands of fate which all people inevitably bow to. If there were anyone to blame she would account it to "God", or the universe.

However, for some time in her youth she did have a difficult relationship with her mother. After her father died she was left with one parent who fell from the occasion and in her childish mentality she thought it selfishness rather than mental illness. Only in her later years, after watching her mother deteriorate did she set aside her anger to ease her own mind as she would be left to care for her mother as she always had, resentment or not, in loving memory of her father who had cared for them both.

i don't think i've met an izumi ship i didn't like, most likely because of the particular way that i ship her with other muses. in my canon izumi is an insufferable flirt but it ends with empty flattery in one liners. she can be pursued but she's not one to pursue unless baited- like with tahno, or iroh who unconsciously flirt back b/c she's an attractive woman, it all ends with the conversation. she simply enjoys teasing.
