Shipping Update!

Hey everyone! Apologies for the late announcement—we had some technical issues with the print file and delays in finding the right printer that took some time to work out.

As of now, zine packages will be ready to ship out the first and second weeks of July! If you need to change your mailing address before we send out orders, please email us at alongthewayfanzine@gmail.com ASAP so we can update that for you.

There are plenty of valid interpretations for our LU boys, considering the malleable definition of "canon" in our fandom. I really enjoy the dynamics when I give manga-Shadow back to Four. But I also think that, for some of my preferred versions of Four, loss is a major theme of his life and his personality. (I won't write the essay here for now.)

I believe that Four is the kind of person who knows that things change. He doesn't have the same kind of resentment that Legend does about the fact, or hope that it will change like Twilight, but—due to the loss of so many important people in his life, and the inevitability of growing up and losing the Minish, and being one of the more forgotten earlier heroes—I do think he harbors a sort of deep melancholy and acceptance about the flow of time. There's just... a lot to be said for keeping Shadow dead.
