i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.
as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."
NOW??? NOW?? you'd think I'd be oh so skilled. but alas. i can barely piece together two ideas. adhd skill-regression is so so real. im SOBBING

Y’know an awful lot of Terry Pratchett’s books are concerned with how powerful women are when they get angry and how important anger is as a driving force to defend what is right and to tackle injustice.
A lot of his most interesting and most deeply moral characters are angry ones. Granny Weatherwax, Sam Vimes, Tiffany Aching. All are to a large extent driven to do good by anger.
And that honestly means a lot to me.

What kind of books Lupin and Co. read
I work at a library so I feel obligated
Lupin:
Comics (DC > Marvel, Superman)
Bunch of nonfiction and ancient ass books (for heists)
Bunch of fiction; Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, Wodehouse, old cheesy romance, dramas
children's books / graphic novels
Reads the most out of everyone and in the most languages, chronic audiobook listener
Jigen:
Westerns and some classics from all over
Guilty / secret pleasure; certain romances, dramas, period pieces (Jane Austen??)
Prefers to read in Japanese, will read in English if translations aren't easily available
Fujiko:
Murder mysteries, some romance, some smut, drama, some classics, (Jane Austen??), whatever makes her think or laugh
Reads in Japanese, English, and other languages if she needs to
Goemon:
Mostly nonfiction; self-help books, history
Often refuses modern books and authors for fiction (prefers classics)
Whatever makes him think deeply, learn, and question things
Prefers to read in Japanese, English if translations are really unavailable
Zenigata:
Rarely has time to pick up a book, let alone finish it
Usually prefers fiction; mysteries (Christie, Doyle, etc.) and Westerns
Mostly reads nonfiction; news, history, etc. (for work / Lupin)
Reads in Japanese, English if he has to

i feel very stongly that elizabeth 100% would have sworn darcy to eternal secrecy about the fact that he had already proposed once unsuccessfully when she accepted, solely bc you just KNOW mr collins' smug ass would be like, "oh ho ho! huh! so apparently it IS the usual with young ladies to reject the addresses of the man whom they secretly mean to accept when he applies for their favor! hm! interesting!" and then she would be honor-bound to leap over lady catherine's dining table and strangle him
