You're a demon. Let Madoka go!

"Let her go? I’m not keeping her from going anywhere. Madoka is free to do what she wishes."
Ever so carefully stepping around the demon comment.

What an interesting description. Homura had never heard of such a set of items before, but she was intrigued, and willing to help. Lips parted and words started to form, but the young woman stopped at the same time Lightning's eyes focused on something other than herself.
Homura turned her head. Looking on, she was greeted with the sight of red eyes and a large, fluffy tail. White fur.
Now, what was he doing here? She'd placed him elsewhere.
"...I do believe I missed your name. Forgive me, Miss.
I'm Homura Akemi," she murmured, turning her back to the soldier and walking away to start her search. "I will help you find this artefact. Follow if you wish. However, splitting up is not mandatory, and now that I think about it, it might be best if you stick by me. You're new to this area, are you not?"
She didn't want to leave her alone. Keeping an eye on her would be good, but she also wanted a word with the rat.

"Usually a type of a crystal —about this large." Lightning formed a box with her fingers, the enlargement at the size of a small-scale lamp. She had recalled seeing such encasement in New Bodhum —a mirror that’s not in this realm, and yet, upon contact did the artefact appeared in the palm of her hand. "The artefact doesn’t take form until we identify the object —for example, a mirror that doesn’t belong in this realm— and then making contact with it afterwards. If the time gate isn’t buried in debris or covered by something, it should appear after we find the artefact."
A part of her wondered if this explanation was only aggravating the latter girl, for the soldier spotted the slight curl of fingers —uneasiness. At the corner of her eye did she spot a white furry creature, its direction focused on their location.

"Someone here dragged everyone into this unattainable dream world, forsaking our duty to battle the wraiths. Such weakness should be unforgivable. Magical girls must always continue to fight."

"It's not a problem." A key to a time gate. The last thing Homura expected was to be involving herself in time related situations again, but she didn't have to fret. She was merely helping this woman, that was all. Find the artefact, then the gate.
"What does this artefact look like?" And how had she not found it yet? Nothing got past her, no, not here. This was her world. Her rules, her domain. She was supposed to know these things.
Petite fingers curled by her sides. She wasn't nervous. She had no reason to be.

Well, that went better than expected; she had thought that the latter would think she’s insane, especially for someone of her maturity and disposition. No matter now, it was better to tell it to her than never.
"I require an ‘artefact’ —an object not a part of this world—, which serves as a key to a ‘time gate’. The time gate should be easier to find, provided that it’s not buried by debris." Lightning explained, then, with recognition towards the inclination of help, she then added, "I.. appreciate the help, miss."

A form of make-believe. Perhaps to others, but Homura had heard of stranger things in her life time. She had no reason not to believe the rosette, so she nodded. A look of thought gradually spread over her expression, eyes lowering.
"I see. I'd be more than willing to help you retrieve these two things, if you tell me what they are." Homura was slightly confused. Unsure of how this woman got here, but the sooner she could get her to leave, the better. Anything was a threat to her now. Anyone.

"Mitakihara." She repeated the name to herself. A city name unlike any that I’ve heard. Etro had picked a rather odd country this time. Despite it all, she should be thankful for gaining the company of another —hopefully this will aid Lightning in finding a time gate and artefact.
"I’m in a.. fairly complicated situation. Call it a form of make-believe, but… I’m from another world. I won’t be able to get back without finding two things. The problem would be that, well, those two things can be anywhere in this city —or even in this entire world."

"Of course. You're in Mitakihara." She slowly lowered her hand to fold both neatly behind her back, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"Were you looking for anyplace specific? I could help you, if you'd like."

Azure eyes fix themselves to the raven haired woman, acknowledging her presence and greetings. Parting her lips, the soldier then responded, “Likewise. As for the question of inquiry, it appears I am lost. Do you know the name of this city?”

Ah, a new face. Homura daintily lifted one hand, waving it in greeting. "Hello. Pleasure to meet you. Is there anything I can help with?"
