Tender Metropolis - Warszawa - Budapest official premiere!
April 21, at 9 p.m. Muvesz Art Mozi cinema will host the official premiere of the three films screened during Polish-Hungarian workshops that took place in Budapest.
Free tickets are available at the cinema. The event takes place during Polish Film Spring.
30 young filmmakers from Poland and Hungary were working for six intensive days in Budapest to prepare and shoot three short films based on the scripts that won the international script competition:
“Catfish” based on “Catfish” written by Wojciech Pleskacz
A lonely Polish man meets his Hungarian lookalike in an adult chat room. Their conversation turns out to be life-changing.

“Friday, Saturday Morning” based on: “Donkeys on the Danube” written by David Ferris
What if trusting first impression may cost you an arm and a leg?

“Of people and Bikes” based on “Taste of Beginnings” written by Michał Bąk
Short story about how a hex-key could be a key to somebody's heart.

The combined length of screening should not exceed 30 minutes.
Now it’s time to face the truth and show the world the results of their work.
Following the premiere we will present a selection of the best Polish short films provided by Short Waves Fest.
The selection includes films awarded during the last 4 years at the festival.

Dzień Babci/ Grandma’s Day, dir. Miłosz Sakowski / feature/ 2015 / 30 min.
Total time: 75 minutes

Hungarian Filmmakers Wanted !!!
There are still few places for HU based prospective directors, cinematographers, editors, sound-men, producers, costume and production designers in Tender Metropolis project. We are shooting from 14th to 19th March in Budapest. Fill the application online at http://tendermetropolis.com/#open-call and send us by March 5th.
