As days went by, more and more new faces were flooding the streets (and woods) of Forks. Some familiar, some not. Either way, it put the whole family on high alert. They shouldnât have returned. They should have stayed as far away from Forks as possible. But does anyone ever listen to her? No. Of course not.
She had wandered out of the house a few hours earlier, wanting to clear her mind. She could have gone into town, worked a little at the auto shop. But the woods were safer from prying eyes and curious ears. It wasnât until a familiar scent reached her nostrils that she glanced around at her surroundings to pinpoint her own location. Kate. Rosalie could have walked back to the house and pretend she hadnât noticed a thing, but she liked Kate, so she opted to follow the scent instead, stopping only when she spotted a flicker of bright blonde hair against the green foliage. âFrom the sound of it, the woods are not your happy place.â
Location: The Woods, Forks
Open!
Kate ambled along the trail, head ducked low, eyes tracing the blue light screen of the phone in her hands as her thumbs tapped incessantly. To all intents and purposes, she looked more human that the folk striding past her with walking poles and labradoodles on leashes. Kate was wholly, totally, extraordinarilyâŚblending right in.
However, before she knew it, Kate was deeper into the woods than she meant to be. Not realising it until she had both feet planted firmly in a a long glade of ferns and poison ivy. With a roll of those honey suckle eyes, she slipped her phone into the back pocket of her jeans, DIY home start pintrest board forgotten, and put her hands on her hips.
Kate wasnât lost. A vampire could never get lost. She justâŚ.wasnât where she wanted to be.
âFuckingâŚgod damn it.â came the flippant utter. This was not ideal.

Humans seemed to be getting braver since the family had left town. Rose would find hikers more often than before and while she usually didnât mind them, when she was trying to feed, they became a nuisance. This time though, she had simply chosen to go further out and by the time she had returned, she was no longer on edge.
Rose opted to follow the trail on her way back home, simply wanting to enjoy to fresh air and greenery that surrounded the town. The movement of a dog nearby shouldnât have even made her flinch, but with all the new wolves in the surrounding area put her on edge. "Iâm not much of a dog person.â She spoke softly, golden eyes bouncing between the black creature and its owner.
bullet trotted eagerly beside him as they wandered the forest trail, enjoying the breeze that gently shuffled the trees around them. the peace and quiet was almost unsettling to him, as it was so at odds with what he was accustomed to. he could definitely get used to it though, he decided, watching his belgian malinois frolic through the leaves and underbrush. he couldnât help but notice the wide space a random hiker gave them, and he sighed.  â heâs not aggressive, â sila stated mildly, even though he was aware his seventy pound pure black dog certainly looked intimidating. bullet tilted his head inquisitively, tail wagging as he watched the patrons around them.

They could have taken a trip to the Greek islands, visit what was once her home. Perhaps the French Riviera, Hawaii, Brazil. Quite literally any beach Aro wished to see. Yet they stood in a foggy, grey beach in Forks, with miniscule rain water coating their dark figures against the early morning light. Chelsea was not required to accompany their little trip but keeping Aro within eyesight was never a bad thing. Plus, it allowed for a moment away from prying ears. Well, the ones that mattered anyway.
She had stood a few feet away, simply watching in silence. But after a while, impatience got the best of her and she stepped forward until she was by his side, hands locked behind her back. âPerhaps we should go back, Sir. The weather is not in our favor today.â
Location: The Beach, Forks
Open!
At home, the coast was an hour away and yet, Aro had not seen the sea in almost 100 years. Last he had, it had been blue as a summer sky and calm enough to allow children to wade out for a swim, a mile from shore. It was as blue as a fuzzy childhood memory, of skinny boyhood legs splashing through the Ionian and a scream of delight when he ducked low enough to see the schools of fish below the surface.
This ocean was different.
Drizzle landed in his hair and his eyelashes, soaking the taunt white skin of his eyelids. It was soft as a kiss, but cold as the grave. Here in Forks, the sea was grey and violent. It churned viciously and beat of the cliff sides like a boxer taking a punch. It was beautiful, in the way that forgotten Soviet cities were beautiful. Grey upon Grey, sharp edge upon sharp edge until it looked sweet enough to caress.Â
Aro loved it.
A cyan sea was fine, but Poseidon rarely visited those calm waters. It was here. on the wild coast of North America, that Aro found the old Gods, the Gods from his long dead human life, alive an well.Â
He closed his eyes and could feel the sea salt, sure as a kiss, on his lips when he licked them. Aro was far from home. He was far from his seat of power and further from the spies that guaranteed his safety in Italy. Yet he felt safe. He felt secure, on this horrible grey beach in the horrible mid west full of dog walkers and shape shifters.Â
He stared out along the coast, a lone black figure upon the cliff side, a Versace pea coat in black, a gift from his lady wife, whipped around Aros thighs and snapped like a whip in the wind. He cut an ominous figure in the dull morning, but none the less, remained a timeless and interesting one.

INTRODUCING...
"I saved Royce for last. I hoped that he would hear of his friends' deaths and understand, know what was coming for him. I hoped the fear would make the end worse for him. I think it worked."

ever since she was a young girl, rosalie was complimented about her appearance. always the pretty girl, the delicate girl, the girl always at the center of attention. she grew with that mindset as well, and built a fantasy life in which the beautiful girl found herself a rich, loving husband, had children with him and lived happily ever after. she would have it all, be the most envied girl in all of chicago.
rose never left envious of anyone elseâs life until she saw how happy her best friend was with the simple yet loving life she had. rose wanted that for herself, no matter the cost. she found a wealthy suitor at only eighteen and was sure she had met the man of her dreams. but things did not quite turn out how she had expected. rosalieâs fiancĂŠe was not the proper family man she had hoped. and she didnât realize it until she was walking home one evening.
royce was an awful, despicable sample of a human. after he and his friends assaulted rosalie in the middle of the street, they left her for dead, bleeding on the ground. and for the first time in her short life, rosalie wished for death. but rather than getting what she wanted, a man took pity on her and saved her, giving her a second chance at life. after three days of the most excruciating pain she had ever felt, rosalie awoke with a new thirst; both for blood and vengeance. she got her revenge on the men who hurt her, making sure they suffered long and deeply before taking their lives.
while the original plan was for rosalie to be edwardâs new mate, she had no attraction toward him and was quite enraged that he was not attracted to her either. only two years passed until rose found the person that would become her mate and partner in life. she rescued emmett from being mauled by a bear and took him to carlisle so he could save him by turning him into a vampire as well. since then, the two have been inseparable. emmett is her other half, the yin to her yang, the only person to ever truly understand and accept rose for all her flaws. he is the person who saved her, not physically but mentally and spiritually.
the return to forks was not her first choice, but rosalie followed the family nonetheless. she often moves away with emmett for long periods of time, but she agreed to once again go back to high school and college, to play the typical twenty-something year old human girl looking for fun new experiences! only this time around, a human threatened the safety of her family and got them involved with the volturi. one could say rosalie is not quite pleased with the situation or the one who caused all this mess.
TRIVIA.
although rosalie may seem frivolous and vain, she is quite intelligent and has attended several high schools and universities. she has degrees in electrical engineering, business, and astrophysics, and has also studied medicine to help carlisle when necessary.
rosalie is also extremely passionate about cars and has quite a collection that she keeps in pristine conditions.
she is the most difficult to conquer out of the coven, mostly due to her past trauma and general distrust in people. she especially dislikes everything and everyone that might pose a threat to her family, may it be the volturi or a dull human.

Chelsea was born over three thousand years ago. After being alive for so long, she doesnât quite remember exactly how old she truly is, especially given her jovial appearance.
Her birth name is Charmion but has used several names over the years to keep her identity, as well as the covenâs true nature safe. She picked out the name Chelsea in the 1950â˛s and has stuck with it until she grows bored or it goes out of fashion.
She always gets what she wants from who she wants when she wants it. All it takes is a little persuasion and a smile...for the most part.
Using her power on others usually fades over time in her absence. But as long as she is close by, the âspellâ is continuous. That is why the Volturi are a strong, united guard and the Masters keep her close by.
CONNECTIONS.
Friends, Acquaintances, Enemies, Informants and just about anyone else.

When Aro first started creating his coven, he found Chelsea. Charmion, as she was named at birth. She was there through it all. She was there when he found Caius, she was there when Didyme was murdered and Marcus was heartbroken and ready to die. The Volturi would have fallen apart three millennia ago if it wasnât for her. Chelsea was well aware of the power she held within the coven and she took advantage of it at all times. She was one of the few people allowed to do as she pleased. No rules to follow. As long as she followed orders and had her wishes granted, all was well. That and Corinâs company ever so often, but she didnât dwell much on that.
Renata ended up becoming one of Chelseaâs favorites over the years. The girl was quiet and almost naive, turned too young and never given the chance to see the world. Given their status within the ranks and their close bond to Aro (as well as Chelseaâs influence on the girlâs relationship with their Master), Chelsea took it upon herself to look out for the girl, guide her in a way. She couldnât allow for her to be corrupted by the lunatic minds of some of the guards.
Like many times before, the duo sat together for the afternoon, enjoying each others company and sharing thoughts and concerns. Chelsea allowed herself to relax, which was shown by the absence of her robe and her donning civilian-like clothes. âI believe Aro knows what heâs doing. He was right in not letting the human girl leave. See how many people came to her rescue.â Her voice was soothing and she was actually smiling. âWe might have new recruits very soon.â
                               @tenebrcsoâ
renata trusted the volturi members , truly. they all had a common interest. some â she could connect to better than others. chelsea was one of her favorites , second only to aro. the other masters were intimidating , as were their ethereal wives. they diffused a civilized , but panic-inducing energy. as for marcus , his palpable melancholy was too relatable and thus , dangerous. for the guard , most of them were too sadistic in nature. she couldnât keep up with their intense bloodlust.
chelsea was just as hungry , it seemed , but the younger vampire nonetheless enjoyed their conversations. renata was unlike some of their coven-mates who only attempted to be in chelseaâs favor based on her rank. she held a lot of power , but renata didnât heed the ranking system. she only had one objective. in completing that , she had no interest in status.Â
in the midst of a friendly chat in renataâs quarters , something the women did often , renata suddenly shifted into a  serious tone, almost concerned.  â sister, â she murmured ,  â what an interesting choice our masters made âŚÂ beckoning these other covens. â there was no hint of doubt , but apprehension. renata believed their leaders were incapable of making errors , but anything that could possibly threaten aroâs safety left her uneasy. â i fear iâm going to have to work extra diligently to protect master aro. what are your thoughts ? â  â

Every now and then Jasper found himself traveling away from his surrogate family. On one hand they meant the world to him but on the other he felt suffocated by them. He knew deep down they only cared about his wellbeing but more often than not he needed to be on his own. Sometimes the feelings from the members of his family become overwhelming. Sitting now off to the side he kept his eyes open, wondering if heâd catch a family member following him. Either way when he spotted Rose in the distance he stared, not in a disgusting way but in almost an amusing way. âWell I was hoping that your shoe would catch and youâd fall flat on your face.â the empath stated as he looked up at his twin, a smirk lingering across his lips.
â
Of course Jasper would wander off before she did. If anyone in the family needed more space than Rose, it would be him. Still, even the stressful situation didnât dwindle his wit. âBite me.â Her words were sharp, but harmless. There was even a hint of a smile at the corner of her lip. Or was it a sneer? One could never tell with how pristine the mask she constantly wore was. âEsme keeps trying to convince me to play nice. I donât understand why I have to forgive that little...â The words died on the tip of her tongue. She didnât quite like Bella, that was no secret. And she did screw up. Big time. But that didnât mean she suddenly had a change of heart and was going to become BFFs with the human girl. Sheâd leave that for Alice.

Taking in the view before her Andromeda didnât know why she put off coming here for so long. The sights were absolutely breathtaking and she was falling more and more in love with it all. She had seen a few major parts of the city here and there but there were some that still called her name. At the sound of the footsteps and the new voice entering her ears, she turned. Over her years she had seen many vampires with red eyes but it still surprised her all the same. âIt is very tempting but Iâm more of a travel on my own kind of person.â
â
âA nomad. We see a few every now and then.â Much like a predator circling its prey, Chelsea watched the woman closely. She seemed plainly human but there was something...strange about her. A certain glow she couldnât quite explain. Chelsea stepped closer, head tilted ever so lightly. Her eyes were dark enough that in the dim light, they could be mistaken for reddish brown to a mere human. âI hope youâre enjoying our lovely city. My name is Chelsea.â

â
It wasnât quite dark yet, the sun was still setting far away and the rays of orange yellow light made Rosalieâs hair look more like a halo around her perfectly chiseled face. But it wasnât bright enough to bother Rosalie, though she was definitely not at her strongest. She just couldnât stay inside one more minute. Though had she known she would run into Bella, she would have stayed an extra hour or two. Golden eyes narrowed in the humanâs direction, completely ignoring whoever else might be staring in their direction, arms crossing over her chest. âDidnât you hear? Some silly, helpless human got my brother in trouble with the Volturi so the whole family had to come and save their asses." Did she sound bitter? Annoyed? Angry? Possibly all the above, but could she be blamed? Well, technically yes. But Rose was good at ignoring the technicalities when it suited her. And this time, she was not taking the blame for something reckless Bella did.

đđ đđđ đđđđđđ đđđđ đđđ đđđđđđđđđ đđđđ. as he walked around the city of volterra he noticed how much had changed since the last he sat foot here. not only the buildings and the facade but the people. humans were such interesting and curious creatures. it was as he walked that he noticed the blonde. of course he knew of the cullens and it was is own level of curiosity that mad him follow her. he wasnât being subtle. vladimir wanted her to know that he was watching her and wondered how long it would take for her to address him. didnât take long. vladimir released a chuckle as he stepped out of the shadows like some old time movie villain. â iâm sure she did, but then again its been too long for me to remember. â

Her whole body turned as the culprit stepped out of the shadows, hand placed on her hip. She didnât quite like being stalked, it brought memories she would rather forget. In fact, that part of her past brought forth a slight of anger that was often placed onto someone that might not deserve it. âManners are not something you simply forget.    the eyes of a vampire could scan every person in the area in less then a second. renata preferred to linger , glancing at each detail of the humans â each hair follicle on their face, the way their nose bunched up in a moment of happiness , the veins pumping in their necks. renata unnecessarily coughed to distract herself from an upcoming morbid fantasy , she then glanced back at the cold , untouched latte sitting before her. it smelled pleasant , at least. when she looked back up , her eyes immediately caught the sight of a particular blonde female. the scent of an unfamiliar vampire did pique her interest. of course she expected the vampire to turn around , but what she didnât anticipate were the hues of her irises. they were ⌠golden , huh. when the stranger confronted her , renata didnât take a second before taking off her sunglasses , revealing her red-colored eyes. so similar , yet so different from one another. â forgive me , â she murmured dully , â manners were not quite yet a concept when i was being raised. your ⌠mien just caught me by surprise , is all. â
â
Rosalie expected to run into quite a few vampires in a town such as Volterra. It was run by a coven, after all. What she didnât expect however, was to find them out and about; acting as if they were mere humans. She had caught the scent already, but it took her a moment to pinpoint its location. The girl in front of her almost seemed...normal if it werenât for the red irises behind large sunglasses. Rosalieâs entire body tightened, shoulders pushed back and spine straightened as if to make herself taller, more threatening. She had no clue how old the vampire was, but she wasnât strongly built and Rose believed she could snap her like a twig if needed be. âWell, perhaps you should catch up with the times. In more ways than one, from what I can see.â A hint of a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips and it would have looked like a snarl if it werenât for angelic features. âShouldnât you be tucked away in a dusty room somewhere?â
