The political intrigue is also SO GOOD! I just think it doesn’t come through as well as it could in the anime, but that was one of the best parts of the whole story! Who is doing what? Why? And the mysteries of the world that kept being revealed. This nation against that nation. All the fantasy world mechanics. Pure gold!
