Niraan Tent City Varanasi – My Experience & Other Details
Tumblr media
In Uttar Pradesh, on the banks of the Ganga River, sits the historic city of Varanasi. The first sun ray to ever touch the Earth is claimed to have fallen on Varanasi, making it the oldest city in the world. With more than 20,000 temples and 84 ghats, it is the holiest city. With Niraan Tent City, I recently made my first trip to Varanasi, and this essay contains my experience as well as other crucial information.
Tent City of Niraan In the Indian city of Varanasi, there is a dynamic and distinctive community of tents called Varanasi, which is situated close to the Ganges river's banks. The idea behind this is comparable to that of Rann Utsav Tent City.
Visitors to the area will find this tent city to be a fascinating and colourful experience that offers a unique look into Varanasi life. Given that it is situated alongside the holy River Ganga, it radiates heavenly energy constantly. The Dashashwamedh Ghat and Assi Ghat are directly across the street from the location.
From my tent, I could hear every Aarti, whether it was at three in the morning or eight in the evening.
The tents are made of vividly coloured canvas and are fairly roomy, with space for at least two people in each. The majority of tents fall into one of three categories: Economical, Premium, or Royal Villas. Each tent comes fully furnished with pillows, blankets, and mosquito netting to keep out the elements. The tents also come with a little balcony so that you can take in Varanasi's atmosphere right within the tent.
My tent was a high-end model and it was fairly roomy and cosy. It includes every amenity needed, including a coffee machine, tea kettle, electric blankets, mosquito nets, air conditioning, a sofa set, a comfortable bed, lamps, and a separate vanity area. It was appropriate for two adults. The tent included a wide balcony, a roomy toilet, and a stunning view of the Ganga river. See!
The large room with two air conditioners and a TV in the Royal Villa set it apart from the Premium tents. The rest was business as usual. I cherished my tent.
In addition to this, Niraan tent city had a clubhouse where you could play games including volleyball, ludo, chess, carom, table tennis, and snooker. A swimming pool, business centre, banquet hall, and on-site cafe were also available.
The dining halls were enormous and could hold a sizable crowd. For destination weddings and other occasions, this is particularly beneficial.
The location is also appropriate for business trips and outings with colleagues.
Not just this, but they also had a spa for your rejuvenation. The spa had all types of massages including the aroma massage, foot reflexology and couple massage.
My Experience of Niraan tent city:
In all honesty, I had a great time. They primarily provide 1 night and 2 night tours. My two-night package includes morning and evening aartis, a city tour and heritage walk, and a trip to the Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
I particularly appreciated how tidy and roomy the tent was. Also, due to the scale of the tent city, there are eco-cars (golf carts) and tuk tuks available for use inside the grounds.
Even the staff members were incredibly helpful, cordial, and friendly. Room service arrived promptly.
The meal there was good, too. There were numerous options in the breakfast and dinner buffets, and each item was delicious. Not only that, but the cafe and a-la-carte menu also offered delectable fare.
The eating experience was further enhanced by a live performance by vintage musicians.
The boat rides that my nephew Yuvi and I occasionally took to get from the tent city to the ghats when we went sight-seeing were what we both found to be the most enjoyable.
Overall, I had a great time, and I heartily recommend visiting Niraan Tent City with your family.
