just some thoughts about zors and illusions (or at least how it is in charas 'verse):

-all zor can recognize each other, even through illusions (this is why raiforts zoroark knows what chara is)

-young zor first learn to make illusions through color, changing the colors of their fur, the grass, rocks, etc. then they practice through their environment, making grass look longer, trees look taller/shorter, etc.

->then through their own appearance, practicing with taking the appearance of other pokemon (usually those with a similar shape: eevee, vulpix, purrloin, lillipup, etc, then moving on to bigger pokemon: zoroark, bisharp, passimian, spidops, etc)

->after they practice with bigger pokemon, then they move on to practicing with human appearances if they have an interest in doing so. (they mimic people theyve seen passing through their territory, and then slowly move on to crafting unique appearances)

->all zor have a 'crack' in their illusions when disguised as humans (bright blue eyes, red nails, red around eyes, fluffy+long black/red hair, etc are a few examples for unovan zor. can have only one, can have multiple)

->young zorua are always easy to spot through human disguise cause theyre still learning (almost always have multiple obvious cracks/tells)

-holding an illusion and trying to use moves takes a Lot of energy, which is why illusions break after a single attack

->zors can get hurt through their illusions without them breaking, like if they trip and scrape a knee, or get into a scrap (not an actual battle, no moves involved)

hihi, im chara, i go by he/it !! thought i wouldve been found out by now (its been three months ??), so i wanna see how far i can get with having a blog !!

im a student at naranja academy in paldea !! no one knows im a pokémon, though, cause i wear an illusion to look like a human whenever im in the school and not in my dorm >:]c. my rotomphone friend helps me communicate !!

i also have a few friends with me !! conifer the floragato, chase the nymble, and clover the eevee !! we dont really battle often (though i like to sometimes when im not wearing my illusion for school), but we do like exploring when im not busy with classes !!

hullo hullo, its @dexholderr (august, he/him) again o/ ! had the idea for chara a bit ago and he's been rotatin in my mind ever since, so here it is !

blog follows game canon, with the events of previous games being at least a year or two past, and the events of scarlet/violet not having happened yet! we'll get to them, though :]c

small warning for occasional bullying and ableism for now, though i may add addition warnings in the future! and please let me know if you think i should add any! this blog and character are meant to be relatively light-hearted, but that may change as the blog goes on

Uhhh, hullo hullo o/? Not really sure what I'll post here, but I figured just havin a place to ramble could be fun, so here we are!

I'm Rusty (he/him), a 19 year old trainer currently livin in Nimbasa! Though you'll rarely see me there durin the day, since I tend to be pretty busy with uh, stuff outside of the city. Hopin things settle soon so I can be free more often, though!

My team so far is my partner Lampent (Soot ♂), Flareon (Amber ♂), and Larvesta (Solar ♀)! We like takin on gyms when we have enough freetime, and have three badges so far :]

If you recognize me from a certain evil team that tried to take over Unova a few years back, no you don't. But also I'm so sorry and doin everythin I can to make things right.

blog canon follows game canon (with a few liberties/additions) for pkmn black, with the events of said game being around four and a half years past and the events of black 2 bein around two and a half years past (still tryin to figure out the timeline for events in other games, so please bare with me o7)

warning for possible mention/discussion of manipulation/child neglect, as well as violence beyond what would be expected of a typical pokemon battle in the future? just cause of rusty's history and team plasma being Like That. all warnings are tagged like "#trigger", (ex: #child neglect)
