☠🌏– She's just going to silently hug Otera and wrap her legs around her as she jumps up to allow her namesake to hold her. This was just a normal occurrence between them, a way of saying she appreciates her care and attentiveness. It's clear she's in a bit of a sensitive spot today cause she looks like a sad mudpuppy.

"Oof-" and there she was. "Hey Mordy."

Dhe holds her up like she weights nothing, one arm under her legs and another on her back to give her a hug. Rika holds her therr with a few pats on the back and hair ruffles. At least someone eas a bit more forthcoming about dinner.

"Sooooo I don't have to use the Clodsire card on you about coming over, right?"

She will do it again.

"What I can handle is up for me to sort out, not you." She pats her shoulder. "I complain about your antics sure, but I'm just glad you ain't gone."

Monty really didn't get the good end of the stick. Rika didn't feel right not sharing her good fortune with a not so lucky self.

"It's not better, it's easier to do. Easier doesn't always mean the best thing, hell- when have you ever done that Miss Lethal Adventures?"

She sighs, trying to keep the mood lighter while adknowledging it's seriosousness. "Besides, Ma's tougher than me. I might not have had the same kinda past you did but I was my own little terror. It's not a sudden thrusting if it's just a quiet time with you me and Mama. How do you think I had to explain your birthday gift to her? Wasn't easy that's for sure."

Not to say Rika was trying to force this on her other self, but she didn't want her to put herself in a hole.

"I know you can do it. I'm not gonna force you but it is gonna happen at some point."

“Ah, fuck…” She sighs, shocked that Tessera was able to identify what she was doing.

She goes quiet for a while before shrugging, biting her lip and looking at the ground while she swirled the water bottle in her hand.

“I can’t… More, I really don’t think I should. Your family doesn’t need the heart attack that I am suddenly thrust on them- Hell YOU can barely handle me, I’d hate to think about your poor Ma.” She laughs again, reaching down to gently rub Bappy’s head while he snoozed under the sunbeams. “Better if I just don’t, y’know?”

There was something about seeing yourself put up a wall all of a sudden that made Rika... upset. She gave Monty a stern look. Not mad, or disappointed just... stern.

"Let me rephrase: you're coming over for dinner next week." She correct firmly.

The headache of explaining the multiverse to her mom would come after. She knew first thing that would happen is all the fussing she'd do over her other self.

"The only too much on your plate you'll be dealing with is how much food will be on it." Goodness knows her family were entire foodies. "You bring Bappy too. This ain't a negotiation with this Rika."

I want what she has. A family that loves her and is still around? Even if they’re a bit overbearing and annoying, thats a love that I wish I had.
