Kenny’s name was originally going to be FRANK, Y'ALL

“Kirkman didn’t have much influence on the story because he didn’t feel the need to. We kept him in the loop at all times, with all the ideas we had and the things we were doing in the story. We got lucky I guess in that he just liked a lot of the ideas which were going on. His only gripe was that we rename Kenny (Kenny was originally named Frank, and Robert didn’t like that name, so we changed it)!”

Oh and Ben was going to be in the basketball team but the script got re-written:

“The pitch I remember for that backstory was that it was a high school basketball away game, which meant that the basketball team, the band, and cheerleaders were all on the bus together. Ben was on the basketball team, travis was in the band, and the teacher was the band teacher. Everyone else died either when that girl turned, via other walkers oer the intervening two months, or at the hands of the bandits raiding their group.”

finished season 2 of the walking dead i feel so empty what the FUCK was THAT ENDING????? anyway i have a strong love hate relationship with kenny (i shot him) so to commemorate that relationship i drew this. my fav frame from the second season i think. 💗 rip kenny you wouldve loved river monsters

ya know i really like how lee interacts with everyone, like you can tell he's talking to some specific and not just anyone. i think it really shines with Ben. his and lees convos are so stilted and awkward even after everything and its bc you can tell lee doesnt interact with teens much. he taught college and hes good with little kids but he's just not that good with teens. i think (and maybe i'm wrong) he's trying his best to not talk to ben like he's some punk kid. like lee still has one of the kid gloves on bc lets be real ben is at a terrible age that sucks even when the world isnt ending

I am immensely curious about Luke's current status in your universe, did he also die?

It may not be an extravagant detail either, but notice the ring he was wearing in your art, is it something really important to Nick?

I like branched stories. I like to explore various possibilities. So yeah-! Luke lives in like 3 out of 7 outcomes I've imagined- so far- at least the ones that include season 2's characters-- But in the main one I explore, he's alive :^))

About the ring it's just a silly headcanon- The ring Nick has was his father's ring. Before the apocalypse, his father disappeared off their lives but yet left his ring there, and Nick's mother kept it until the last of her days. Pete saved it afterwards, the owner was a bastard- but he loved her more than he hated him- so whatever. Just a memento that belongs to Nick for now. Pretty much.

Yeah!!!! A bit ago I was making one of those ref sheet like the ones I made with Sarah and Duck- but got frustrated lmao. But anyways yes :))

(This one the not so oldish drawing-- gonna copy paste the written down ideas abt s4 Nick design to make it make sense. .....they're just notes though)

Nick (32 yo. 1978)

- Determinant amputee, depending on the story. If Clem jumps down to help Luke at the lake, he doesn't get bit.

If Clem doesn't jump, he'll do it himself, and get bit.

In an Alternate case of the second situation, in S4 has a bullet scar in his abdomen. At the cabin, if Jane attempts to shoot Nick, Sarah will push her but the bullet will still hit him. What a day.

- ring :)

- Military cut jacket, band shirts- (I imagine Nick's father might have pursued a career in music, a fame-seeking endeavor that kept him away from home. Consequently, I believe Nick would have developed an interest in music-. So band shirts :)) (Also military jackets because. Peter.)

- In TWDG timeline the Walkers appear in 2003 (or so the wiki says). At that time, Nick was approx 25 years old. This bastard must have had a Y2K and whatever south Americans style before things went down, so- yeahj. Band shirts must be from when he was a teenage/ya. So like 1980-1990s?

- White hair (stress)

- Friendship bracelet made by Sarah :). (Or a jelly bracelet) He called it stupid when it was given but currently couldn't care less how it looks. He's fond of it.

- Patch, bullet hole, or stains on hat. Worn out.

- The watch. It's there.

- I'm thinking maybe he gets a prosthetic made by the s4 kids..... shrug.....
