I'm going to gripe here because why not.

Femstodes retcon is some of the laziest writing I've ever seen and I hate how if I complain for the legitimate reason of "that's fucking terrible retconning" I'll have one side shouting that I'm against progress and the other side shouting about how women shouldn't be in war gaming. It feels like a massive handwave distraction from the fucking terrible lack of sister of silence and sister of battle stuff.

Imagine the down time, imagine clones chatting and relaxing because that's what you do when you have some time but these guys don't, they just sit and wait. They hardly ever remove their mask and never seem to be outwardly chatty.

They just check their gear, eat, sleep, and fight. Imagine a Jedi trying to get to know them like they do the clones. Imagine how different a campaign like Umbara or Geonosis would have gone.

i kinda think about what might happen if The Clones from star wars had to fight alongside The Death Korps of Krieg

how horrific theyd seem to the clones, how horrofic theyd seem to the Jedi leading them. these arent just clones they are all humans who had their humanity stripped away and a vast sense of guilt ingrained in them.

imagine the moment the Death Korps initiates a mass bayonet charge. against droids, the violence that the Death Korps enacts just another battlefield for them.

I love having an AU where chaos is more of a manipulative influence and where chaos astartes are far more powerful because of this. Chaos holds onto its champions like a vice.

Chaos cults and such still exist and Daemons are an issue that means the Emperor has to either disseminate the information or try to calm people down.

The primarchs begin having to include chaplains as therapists rather than religious zealots to try and stop astartes falling.

The Inquisition still exists however they are far fewer in number and far more secretive.

You know what an interesting Heresy AU would be?

What if Chaos didn’t corrupt the traitor legions?

How would of things shaken out with out demon temptations.
