Lucky cats, called ‘manekineko’ at Gotoku-ji Temple.

A “maneki-neko” is an ornament in the shape of cats beckoning with a forepaw.

豪徳寺の招き猫、

沢山いるけど 良く見ると あれ？あれれれ？

みんな小判を持っていないんですよ。

“招き猫は福を得るチャンスは与えてくれるけど

福そのものは与えてくれない。

チャンスを生かせるかどうかは本人次第“

という事らしいです。
