I'd like to add that Dobson is completely in the wrong and ignorant in his opinion. Not only did anime have nothing to do with it (the animators and character designer was the same as the ones that worked on Tarzan IIRC, the style is similar too. Dobson must be an idiot to think it looks like anime), but office politics and the new management's disdain for 2D animation that caused it.
