Hannibal + Plants
While we do not know much about Bedelia du Maurier, we know that she is intelligent and that she is a survivor. Following her attack, Bedelia continues to see and interact with the man who was so obviously the catalyst for it (as stated by Bedelia herself). Red roses symbolize love and respect, both of which Hannibal feels towards Bedelia. The love he has for her is not a romantic one; however, it and his respect for her are evident in the way he models himself after her. Hannibal admires her calm, icy exterior and the grace with which she holds herself, and he constantly strives to appear as she does. Bedelia is not stupid and it is my belief that she sees exactly what Hannibal is—has seen it from the very beginning. She holds her tongue because it’s safest and for some unknown reason, Hannibal’s secret doesn’t quite bother her. For this, Hannibal respects her all the more. Bedelia is a rose—beautiful, elegant, and with the ability to harm. She holds herself with an air of regality and refinement, but she is also cunning and sharp, dangerous to all that may pose a threat.

come find me, come find me, seek me out like the shadow i am
pull the sheet over my head, see it empty
i’m not like you, i don’t think i ever will be
but i can be yours, if you’d like me

the rate at which I see things in this fandom just stolen without any care or regard and reposted is abhorrent. in what world is taking what someone else made and reposting it as your own or without credit acceptable? people are making memes and edits for fucking free. there is no fandom without creators. you aren't contributing by stealing and recycling what was already made. if you love something that much, take 3 extra seconds and find the original (reverse image search on google it is not that hard). reblog from the source! give them credit and recognition! support them! if you are not supporting creators and just stealing from them you're a leech and you don't deserve to be a part of fandom spaces where most of the people are making shit for free, on their free time.
