Somebody posted a short to youtube of themselves reading my post about Ea-Nasir, without asking and without linking, so as the massive bitch I am, I sent a takedown request. The thing is, if they had asked, I probably would have said yes, provided that they link back to my blog. But they didn't ask or even notify me.

Also like, let's all appreciate the irony. People on other social media platforms keep saying Tumblr is dead, but they also mine us for content. How many tiktoks and other shortform videos are just people reading tumblr posts?

I love the dynamic between Kaito and Shinichi because it is literally Conan being like "Hey, do you want to take part in this highly dangerous, we-all-might-die-painfully plan I concocted?"

Kaito: "No."

Conan: "Oh, because you can't do it? It's too much for you to handle?"

Kaito, gritting his teeth: "Run the plan past me one more time."

Like, Conan can bait Kid into doing the dumbest shit, and Kaito just falls for it every time and both of them almost die almost constantly and it is the funniest relationship for them to have.

Kaitou Kid, internationally wanted criminal who steals things using literal magic tricks, acts as the voice of reason between the two of them. And Conan is over there like "Thank god I'm the normal one in this relationship" like a little liar and I just love this dynamic more than words can express.

What to do if your account gets wrongfully terminated

So by now most of you have probably heard that my account was suddenly terminated (aka banned) on Saturday afternoon. I’m back now, and since I had to do some digging into this on my own, I figured I’d make a post for others to reference. 

How to tell if you’ve been wrongfully terminated

You will find yourself suddenly locked out of your account. For me, I had just made a post when I got kicked to the login screen. My password wouldn’t work, so I tried to reset it, at which point I got this screen:

Now, if Tumblr legitimately terminated your account - meaning, you broke a rule and they banned you for it - they should send you an email telling you why. So, immediately check your email. If you don’t get anything, it was probably a glitch. These happen shockingly often, so there’s a whole process to it. 

How to get your account back

First, submit a support ticket. Tumblr’s support email does NOT work, you MUST go through their site. Select ‘Terminated account’. Write a POLITE message explaining the situation. Describe what you were doing when you suddenly got kicked off, and state that to the best of your knowledge, you haven’t broken any rules, or that if you did, you would be willing to delete the offending posts. Include your url and email.

Check your email. You should immediately get an automatic message saying they’re looking into the problem. If you don’t that means that Tumblr marked your email as spam (because they banned you). If you need to, resend the ticket using a different email address at the bottom. Explain that your account email doesn’t seem to be going through and that’s why you’re using a different one. 

Wait. Tumblr Support’s hours of operation are 9-5 EST, Monday through Friday. If, like me, you submitted your ticket on a weekend, you may be in for a wait. If you don’t get a response within 24 hours, DO NOT SEND ANOTHER TICKET, but instead reply to the email they sent you. I’ve seen it advised that you should send another ticket only if the problem isn’t fixed within the week. 

Check you url often. Tumblr will likely never respond to your email letting you know what happened or that you’ve been reinstated. Check your url every so often, and if it finally loads as your blog (instead of the ‘There’s nothing here’ screen) you are free to log back in. 

And that’s it! If it was a glitch, they SHOULD reinstate your account, but you MUST submit a support ticket letting them know what’s going on.

So Steven visits the human zoo semi-regularly. It's a place for him to relax and eat ans sleep like a human. The diamonds don't care how he treats the humans, so he can be himself and not put on an act around them.

He is also very lonely, touch-starved and going through puberty.

There he meets a boy around his age (Steven is 17 at the time). It's someone who's around Stevens age and is very naive but also curious - that's why he approaches Steven in the first place. Steven isn't like other humans and he rly wants to learn WHY. He also wants to learn about earth and other humans and so forth - and Steven is all too happy to distract himself from all his troubles by talking and swimming and kissing. It's freeing for him, in a way.

It's not a serious relationship, cuz Steven refuses to open up even a lil bit, more of a friends-with-benefits kinda thing. He does let him leave the garden, unlike other humans. Also Steven stops the choosening for obv reasons.

In short steven gets a pretty boytoy for emotional support.

Their relationship does fall apart when Steven gets too busy and serious all the time and barely visits.

Also he needs a name I'm open to seggestions

sorry if i'm gonna be quiet for a while. my country recently introduced laws that make it so that in order to use social media to the fullest (not being able to view ns/fw content and in a few cases, not even having access to dms), i HAVE to give the sites my id/face scan.

it goes into effect july 25th. it'll probably effect here too, since this place allows mature content (tho not full on ns/fw)

i'm very distressed about it bc i might end up not even being able to talk to my internet friends. i don't really have any irl ones

if i have to disappear on most socials by then, you know why.
