I am obsessed w cuti romero after that game.. has he always been this sexy ??

hi anon!!! oh absolutely. they call him cunti romero because that is what he SERVES!

cuti is just a brilliant person from what we see. he used to be a little more rash and aggressive last season but that was because he was compensating for a midfield that was being overrun every game and a backline that wasn’t nearly as competent as he is. he’s still got that edge to him this season which makes him unbearably sexy but what makes him even MORE unbearably sexy is that he’s taken the responsibility of being vice captain extremely seriously. he breaks up fights, he takes a moment to calm himself down when he gets heated, and most importantly he seems genuinely apologetic and regretful if he does fuck up (he shouldered the responsibility genuinely after he got that red v chelsea; that game and the aftermath have seemed to make him realise how vital he is to this team). also off the pitch he seems like a sweetheart he’s constantly joking around with the lads and posting pics and videos with his wife and their kid.

he’s also such a good footballer. like honestly i’m shocked-we’ve-got-him-at-spurs-and-should-probably-be-playing-for-real-madrid type footballer. world cup winner and pivotal to that campaign. he’s absolutely unfazed under pressure and invites it too, he’s got a really good progressive pass in him, he times his tackles well, and he is extremely good at winning offensive aerial duels. he’s got the most goals of any defender in the prem this season iirc? like sometimes you’ll be watching a game and someone will wander up to the frontline and you’re like by GOD is that cuti romero with a STEEL CHAIR?

however most IMPORTANTLY the guy loves spurs. like genuinely even last season he loved spurs very much and i think he did grow disillusioned with conte towards the end as we all did but ange has revitalised him completely. i just love seeing him have fun. after every game, no matter what, you can count on cuti posting ‘this is the way. all together always.’ he’s said he wants to give his best years to spurs. i really really hope he does.

thinking about how when you experience a lot of shame in your formative years (indirectly, directly, as abuse or just as an extant part of your environment) it becomes really difficult to be perceived by other people in general. the mere concept of someone watching me do anything, whether it's a totally normal activity or something unfamiliar of embarrassing, whether I'm working in an excel spreadsheet or being horny on main, it just makes my skin crawl and my brain turn to static because I cannot convince myself that it's okay to be seen and experienced. because to exist is to be ashamed and embarrassed of myself, whether I'm failing at something or not, because my instinctive reaction to anyone commenting on ANYTHING I'm doing is to crawl into a hole and die. it's such a bizarre and dehumanizing feeling to just not be able to exist without constantly thinking about how you are being Perceived. ceaseless watcher give me a god damn break.
