Nov 18, 2020 The casino, usually open 24 hours a day, on Wednesday confirmed it will comply with the state curfew. The curfew calls for businesses to close by 10 p.m. Each night for 21 days, starting Thursday. Nov 18, 2020 Retail establishments must close at 10 p.m. And restaurants can stay open for delivery and takeout only. Social Distancing

Limiting capacity on our gaming floor to no more than 50% of our maximum occupancy.

The installation of floor decals and signage to remind guests of social distancing guidelines in areas where lines typically form.

Table game seating will be limited, and slot machines will be configured to meet social distancing requirements.

Live music and entertainment will remain suspended.

Restaurant offerings will be limited to Take 2 Grill, o.h. Sports Bar, The Lounge at Final Cut, and Zen Noodle and will adhere to all restaurant state protocols and social distancing.

Health & Safety

Team members and vendors will be required to wear masks and will undergo a health screening each day prior to their shift.

In accordance with Mayor Andrew Ginther’s Executive Order, face masks will be required for all guests and must be worn while on property.

Slot machines and table games will be thoroughly and regularly cleaned throughout the day.

Sanitizer stations will be installed on the casino floor and be readily available throughout the facility.

All live entertainment has been suspended at this time.

All live entertainment in both the Event Center at Hollywood Casino and H Lounge remains suspended at this time. Ticketed Event Center concerts are being postponed until 2021. Please continue to check our Entertainment page for updated dates.

Will there still be promotions and offers? Eligible guests may receive free play offers in the coming weeks. As we transition to contactless communication, make sure we have a valid email address for your mychoice account. All promotions scheduled for March and April were cancelled unless otherwise stated as postponed.

What is contactless communication? Contactless communication is the safest way for us to inform you of upcoming offers, promotions, and special events. We will be providing a majority of these updates via email. To link your email address to your mychoice account, visit www.mychoice.com and update your account OR you can visit the Player Services upon your next visit to ensure we have your email address.

Will my mychoice card, mycash, or tier level be expired when I come back? No. Your mychoice card and mycash will both be valid. Your tier level will be the same as before we were ordered to close on March 16, 2020. Though your mychoice card may show an expiration date of 3/31/2020 you DO NOT need to get a new card printed, it will still work just as it did prior to the COVID-19 closure.

What dining outlets and bars are open? Take 2 Grill will be open 11 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. daily. Zen Noodle will be open 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily. The Lounge at Final Cut will be open 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Final reservations will be seated at 9:30 p.m. The bar will be open until 11 p.m. o.h. Sports Bar will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Last seating at 9:30 p.m. i.o. Bar will be open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and noon to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Patio Bar will be open Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Smoking and Gaming Patio will be open Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Can I play the slot machines? Yes. Select slot machines will be out of service to maintain social distancing. Guests may not sit at machines that are turned off or move chairs. Slot attendants will still be available to pay jackpots and service your machine.

Can I still play Table Games? Yes. Players will be required to wear a mask. Most table games will be open but seating at each game will be limited to three players (six players on a craps table). The process of some of these games may be altered to limit contact of chips, cards, and cash. Patrons should not congregate around the table in close proximity to players at a table.

Will the Poker Room be Open? No.The Poker Room will remain closed at this time.

What about concerts and live entertainment? All live entertainment at the H Lounge has been canceled. All shows in the Event Center have been postponed until 2021. Tickets for postponed events are still valid. Updates on entertainment can be found on our website under the entertainment tab.

How can I stay safe inside the casino? Social distancing protocols will be enforced inside all areas of the facility. Signage will be displayed to show you where to stand and what is opened and closed. Any area that may have high traffic or touch points will be sanitized regularly and the whole facility will be deep cleaned over-night.

Will you be serving alcohol on the casino floor? Yes.

Will Hollywood Casino be having the tier renewal parties? We currently do not have tier renewal parties on the calendar but hope to be able to celebrate your tier level when we can safely do so.

When Do Ohio Casinos Reopen

I previously had a host, do I still have one? We will be calling hosts back based on business needs. You can ask for any host on duty and they would be happy to help you.

Casino Roast

The 18 th Annual Roast originally scheduled for October 28, 2020 has been cancelled and rescheduled for October 29, 2021 at the IP Casino Resort Spa. The event is the major annual fundraiser for Biloxi First, providing funds for innovative classroom projects within Biloxi Public Schools. In a saute pan melt 4 oz. Of the butter over medium heat. Add white wine, paprika, celery seed, clam juice, lemon juice, worcestershire, tabasco, cocktail sauce and salt & pepper. If using clams or mussels add them now and cook until they open. Add shrimp, scallops, lobster and/or crab meat and bring to a full boil.

This recipe was developed to imitate the Pan Roast that is very popular at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino Oyster Bar. It is also available at many of the Station Casinos in Las Vegas, a place in Reno, and at other oyster bars around the country. This recipe was developed over months of trial and error, and after sampling several bowls. A recent focus group agreed that this recipe tasted almost identical, to the real thing.

1 ounce whole butter; 1 1/2 ounces white wine; 1/8 teaspoon paprika; 1/8 teaspoon celery seed; 1 ounce clam juice; 1 teaspoon lemon juice. What is a Pan Roast?

Essentially it is a rich lobster bisque type of seafood chowder that was popularized by Cajun cuisine. Most oyster bars serving it use special steam cookers to create it to order. We first heard about it from friends who suggested we try it at the Palace Station on a trip to Vegas, and man was it good! It's made with your choice of shrimp, crab, oysters, or lobster or a combination of the same. We still go there every trip to Vegas, and we highly recommend you try it there too. It is a great little oyster bar, and nothing beats the real thing in the exciting casino.

If you go to one of the casinos or oyster bars, they will typically charge around $18.00 or so for the dish, and it is well worth it. (I like to pair it with a dark beer, or a black and tan.) We don't get to Vegas as often as we would like, so we asked the chefs if they would share the recipe. Good luck! I hear they have been offered a lot of money for the recipe, but it makes so much money for the casinos, they are under strict orders not to reveal the secrets. And, I should stress that I have no proprietary information here, I just developed my own recipe over months of painstaking effort, and now it is available to you.
