I love when the front bottom songs just start with just like obvious statements like "sometimes I cry when I get sad" or "she feels emotion"
#omg . thank you for saying this!!!! I couldn’t of put it better. like genuinely#I love everything about what you said here#like the contrasts between the obvious statements and the more specific ones really do create#a beautifully written and compelling story to take in#very very well put catty words I appreciate this addition sooo so much!

and well do you ever think that maybe I could be one of those things that you hate at first but eventually learn to love and then trust and then touch and then cut? Yeah I bet you will…
Yeah I bet you will….
well maybe I’ll get back to you maybe I haven’t learned a thing??
Maybe it’s the last time for you but it’s not the last time for me?

This. This so genuinely.I love the depth of the obvious statements like these in TFB’s music, whether to start the song or sprinkled in between and I think they tell a lot more when you think of them in a context of “this is something the writer wants us to hear, and is relevant to the story etc” I like knowing this and tying it to how I feel and perceive the song. I love that these lyrics feel like personal annotations about the situations/etc he’s describing, and that it gives you such a unique perspective. It’s a small part of what makes the e front bottoms music, to me, so unique and particular , and makes their lyrics feel so hard because it’s able to feel so deeply personal almost in a “words left unspoken” kinda of way, if that makes sense. You’re able to find your own personal meaning and it really sticks with you. i love hearing what he as to say. I love the story their lyrics tell. I love how relatable and to the point it is. I love music yayyyy

I loveeee the slow version of The Beers. I love that part specifically he changes when he says “it’s an aerial view from your house to my room” and instead says “it’s an aerial view your house my room” . these simple few words being left out is vvery important to me. the apathetic/desperate combo his voice gives off makes me feel insane . Along with the eerier instrumentals , it gives off such a unique and powerful tone and says so muchhhh ugh so perfect

I love this soooo much like “I just like to relax” is so sweet “I like to hang out with my friends 😊🍭 I love my motorcycle 😎” he is such a beautiful butterfly and I would never jar him even if I love him because he deserves to see all the beautiful flowers and sunsets in the world
