Prowl:

FUNCTION: MILITARY STRATEGIST. “Logic is the Ultimate Weapon.” PROWL will keep at a task for as long as it takes. Strives to find reason and logic in everything. A listener, not a talker. Has most sophisticated logic center of all Autobots. Able to analyze and advise on complex combat situations almost instantaneously. Fires wire-guided incendiary missiles and high-corrosive acid pellets. The unexpected can often scramble his circuits.

Bluestreak:

FUNCTION: GUNNER. “I’ve never met a Decepticon I didn’t dislike.” BLUESTREAK often talks incessantly and inanely. Lightens the situation for all Autobots with his good-natured manner. Despite formidable weaponry and blazing speed, he hates war. Haunted by memory of Decepticons destroying his home-city. Fires bombs up to 8.3 miles and lightning-like 80,000-volt beam up to 12 miles of limited accuracy. Often inhibited by his disdain for combat.

Smokescreen:

FUNCTION: DIVERSIONARY TACTICIAN. “A look can be deceiving; a touch can be lethal.” Whether engaged in raging battle or friendly conversation, an ulterior purpose usually exists. Job is to lead enemy astray. Sneaky, but charming and affable…considered most devious yet most trusted of Autobots. In car mode, emits thick smoke from tailpipe…attracts to metal. In robot mode, shoots missiles which wreak havoc on enemy aircraft radar and guidance systems… electro-disruptor shorts out electrical targets.

It’s just so interesting that he’s a green-spark forged during the war… so I made it literal. I’d like to headcanon that Autobots DEIFIED him while Cons took advantage of his controversy: he became an autobot by chance. To cause chaos and fear among survivors of that battle.

btw if you haven't read the issues in RiD where prowl and the constructicons try and kill spike it's EXTREMELY funny. prowl kidnaps spike and is basically like 'i totally forgive you, promise. 100% get why you betrayed us and gave me an existential crisis these past few years. ignore the fact i now work with the team of the guy you murdered way back when, they're fine with this. anyway, i need you to break into this facility and tell me if this very dangerous cybertronian artefact is there, ok. cause of how cool we totally now are.'

and spike DOES IT, bc he thinks he lives in a fucking heist movie and he's the big action hero. and literally THE MOMENT he comms prowl like 'yeah, it's here' prowl's like great. time to kill you then! and they turn into devastator and try to punch him to death sjdfhdjk IT'S HYSTERICAL, GENUINELY. devastator is so worked up abt how every single component hates spike the absolute most he just. completely forgets about the actual mission. valid. i would also ruin all my plans if it meant i could kill idw spike tbqh.

i will neverrrrrr forgive the wider transformers fandom for the way they interpreted tailgate during the run of MTMTE and Lost Light. literally got blinded by how small and round his design is and totally ignored how much of a little bitch he is (and i say this with affection, that man is a little bitch). literally assigned him traits that you actually see in cyclonus. i get mad about this every time i think about it.
