A writing genre that I really feel connected to would be any kind of news or scholarly article that would be used to inform a mass majority of people on current social issues, current events, and as well as progressive research based upon media sources and credibility. I am very familiar with news articles due to working with them not only with college, but having worked in a highschool that heavily depended on using source material. Biopics are definitely my favorite genre of film to dive into, gathering a multitude of heavy references and personal experiences that directly relate to the subject matter is an exciting thing not only for a nerdlike me, but having specific research and having legitimate information be processed and stylized into film is something that has yet to be truly appreciated, Biopics tend to use and reference certain articles that best exclaim certain parts of the story that they are trying to tell, giving the audience members a chance to truly do their own research if needed be.
