50 Things We Want To Hear But No One Tells Us.
It’s okay to not know why you’re feeling a certain way.
Needing medication to help with your mental illness does not make you weak.
Wanting to not have to rely on medication for your mental illness does not make you unstable.
You. Are. Not. Crazy.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with crying in front of people.
Tears do not equal weakness.
It’s okay to have moments of uncertainty.
You are not required to continue carrying toxic people in your life just to humor them.
Everyone needs days where they can just sleep.
No one person is completely insecurity free.
You are allowed to vent. About anything.
You aren’t spiraling out of control.
Sometimes people’s roles in our lives are only to teach us lessons on who to avoid later in life.
Please throw away that blade, I love you.
Your skin is a beautiful, beautiful canvas. A living organ that needs to be loved and kissed, not burnt and scarred.
A broken past is nothing to be ashamed of.
Please let yourself be happy.
Fuck every single person that broke their promises to you- you deserved someone so much better.
It is always okay to reach out for help.
It may take weeks, months or years, but time will suture all bleeding wounds.

You do not have to make a constant effort to be social.
It’s okay to want to be alone.
Wear whatever your little heart desires.
It is not your fault.
Please, please, please continue to exist in this world.
