I WILL BEAR MYSELF TO PEOPLE AUTHENTICALLY EVEN IF IT COULD LEAD TO EMBARRASSMENT AND POSSIBLE REJECTION FOR DEEPER MORE MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS

Ok so Haumea, a dwarf planet beyond Pluto, spins so fast it gets elongated like this. This is just what it looks like. Something deeply unsettles me looking at it. Terrifying.

complimented a cashier on her turtle pin this morning and she said "oh thanks, I am a little bit of a Turtle Person" with the carefully contained energy of Cookie Monster telling you he's mildly fond of chocolate chips
I hope she and the multiple tons of turtle merch she definitely has at home are having a wonderful day

This house was once a 1900 Victorian in Bozeman, MT, but it's had an elegant modern transformation. There are only hints of its former self and even though it's beautiful, I'm not sure how I feel about what they did. 4bds, 4ba, 3,173sqft, asking $2.5m. Look at this and see what you think. Remember, it was a Victorian.
Foyer entry and the doors look Victorian, but I'm not sure if the hardware is original.
The classy new living room.
A new gold frame surrounds the fireplace.
The revamped powder room has a deep marble sink and an Eastern flair.
The moody kitchen is done in black and deep forest green with a light counter to offset the dark colors.
The eat-in kitchen's dining area features an L-shaped built-in banquette, wallpaper inserts, and plant shelving.
Main floor guest bedroom suite.
Has its own ensuite bath, newly renovated. All of the leaded glass windows are intact.
A closeup of the stairs show wallpapered kick plates with fringe borders. I've never seen that before.
Up here, there's a cozy retreat with a daybed and a wall of shelving. A section of the shelving is a secret door.
The hidden door opens to this bonus room.
This floor has very angular walls and ceilings b/c it's under the eaves. In other words, it's actually a finished attic. After living most of my childhood in an attic apt., I doubt if I would spend $2.5m for this.
The bedroom has a walk-in closet.
And, there's a lovely tile shower room up here, too.
The finished lower level is a partially submerged daylight basement and features a family room.
Another bath.
A nice laundry room.
And, another bedroom.
Above the garage they made a 1 bedroom apt.
There's a deck around the upper level of the house and a small side yard on an 8,842.68sqft lot.

You're simply never going to convince me that the people who learned how to analyze, think critically, and build up skill sets so they could become genuinely informed and competent in a field and accomplish tasks independently aren't better off than the people who use generative AI as a crutch and replacement for doing anything by themselves. There's not a world where knowledge and skills are a disadvantage, so no, people really don't need to "learn how to use ChatGPT or else they'll get left behind." That's just a marketing tactic to get people to use this product sooner.
