the unused potential between scott and mal regarding the whole blackmailing, forced switching, knocking out and eliminating mike thing. I do not think mr. (control freak, "no one will mess with us with me in charge", canon relationship to head trauma) would particularly appreciate all that. even if it is mike.

Hypothetically, I think it would’ve been cool if Scott realised that Mike was in fact Mal, and they can keep their stupid thing with Zoey and Cameron not knowing.

Zoey and Cam want to believe the best in Mike, and are therefore oblivious to how he’s acting. But Scott, who doesn’t want to believe the best in Mike, also realises how he’s acting, and that it doesn’t align with the Mike he blackmailed in Revenge of the Island.

Easy way to set this up; Have Mike show more hostility to Scott, then when Mal takes over, he doesn’t keep this (since Mal doesn’t know what happened between them). Scott catches on, and he can try and convince Zoey and Cameron, who tell him to fuck off you ginger cunt. We can also have Duncan have more plot relevance and not do that stupid bullshit nice guy arc.

There’s a few ways I can see this working and may share them but honestly, there was such wasted potential this season.

the zoey that lives in my head was the kid of a park ranger from BC who used to let her tag along all the time, wrestling bears and roughing it animal-style, until she let slip to her classmates that she and her dad resorted to eating grubs when they got lost one summer. It being a small and conservative town, they never let Zoey the Bug Eater live it down. capitalizing on her love of indie music and vintage clothing (and her existing skill with sewing, which she learned from her dad), she decided to totally re-invent herself when she auditioned for the show. pretending to be your average hipster girl from Vancouver, she is desperate to make friends, and certain that no one will like her if they know she knows 20 ways to skin a deer. but her survivalist instincts lurk just beneath the surface...

I have got to get my other computer set up in a place I will use it and it isn't constantly covered in dog hair, I wanna do animatics so bad I have so many ideas
