Growing up i always dreamed of going to Paris. Such a cliche but I never cared. It called to me. I finally went last year and so many people warned me to have low expectations and that it wouldn't be what I expected. But I've been to cities before. I knew what to expect. And I loved every damn moment of it.
#My Post#sure some people weren't super friendly#but you get that in any city#and people were generally helpful if approached#the only downside is i went in between the olympics and paralympics#so there was lot of areas blocked off#and i think it was quieter and cleaner than usual#but i was ready for anything#like i fell in love with NYC too id go back there#so much to see and do#actually i loved a lot of peru as well#Lima was kinda dull#but the small towns and cusco were lovely#and I loved Thailand espeically once we got out of phuket were it was very westernised#ugh i want to travel again so bad#i mean im literally going overseas again in 13 weeks#flights and accommodation all booked#contiki booked#relaxing 4 nights on an island booked with no plans expect snorkelling and chill#visiting 3 new countries#will be in cambodia for my birthday#3rd bday overseas

when i woke up in my recovery room after my gallbladder removal surgery i was screaming "MOM" at the top of my lungs over and over again and getting out of bed and the nurses were like "hi welcome back to the world :) we'll go get your mom" and after i settled down i was like sorry for screaming idk what happened and they were like it's ok some people just wake up from anesthesia like that
#i just wanted water so bad#but ive seen multiple people wake up after anaesthetic#everyone is different#some people wake up like they're high as fuck#lots of people cry
