Look At Me
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fade x Fem! Reader CW: A bit spicy towards the end WC: 1.6k+ Synopsis: You watch Fade as she is training and it stirs something within her.
"Does she normally do this?" I asked Omen.
I was watching Fade, Reyna, Sage, Jett, and Neon training against Sova, Cypher, Brimstone, Breach, and Yoru. Some of the other agents were there watching as well.
"Not really," Omen said. "Usually she's either flanking or breaking off with Reyna or Jett to flank."
"What is she doing?" I whispered as I got closer to the glass.
The five of them were all kind of clumped together where as the others were off on their own. I have no doubt in Fade's abilities since she is a bounty hunter. But this training exercise was specifically for none ability use. And she is ever more terrifying if she were to use her abilities. Yoru took a right and found them. Fade immediately turned and shot him in the chest. The light went from green to red, signaling Yoru was out. This reminded me of a very intense game of laser tag. Which I have seen most of the agents play whenever we had nothing to do. And still no one can defeat Chamber. Omen was a close second. I tried to get Fade to participate, but she said she could defeat Chamber and Omen. Chamber and Omen are waiting for that day to happen.
"You think you can persuade her into laser tag?" Omen asked.
"Maybe if it was one on one," I said. "But in a group or even a 2v1, she won't do it."
"You should convince her. She's really showing off today. Why do you think that is?"
"I don't know. Fade is never one, from what I've seen, to show off."
"Something is different in her today," Omen noted.
Fade turned the corner and without hesitation, shot both Brimstone and Sova.
"Hey, save some for the rest of us," Jett joked.
Fade didn't say anything and just kept on going. Shortly after, she shot at Cypher and then Jett got Breach since he was coming up from behind them.
"Good round, gang," Reyna said to the others.
The glass wall opened up and I stepped out onto the small battlefield. The maze like structure descended into the ground to where it was all flat and spacious.
"You really had a good round there, Fade," Yoru complimented.
Fade just nodded, "Good match."
"Say, Fade," Omen walked over to her.
"Yeah?"
"Ever wanted to try to defeat Chamber or I in a 1v1 of laser tag?"
Fade removed the vest she had on and shook her head, "No."
"Not even for fun?"
"I know what you're trying to do."
"Fade," I reached and grabbed her hand. "You say you can defeat them. Show them who the boss is."
She turned to face me and there was something different in her eyes. Something animal like. What was going on with her today?
"Alright. You better have your eyes on me."
I smiled, "Don't I always?"
Fade put her vest back on and grabbed one of the guns they were using, "Alright. I'll do it. But we're doing it on my terms."
"Name them," Omen said. "I'll get Chamber after this."
"2v1."
The others widened their eyes as soon as Fade said that. This was something new. This was a new level of confidence that I have never seen from her.
"In the dark," she said.
"You know that is where I thrive."
"So do I," Fade said. "So not only are we making it harder on Chamber, but you'll be helping him."
Omen stood there for a moment in deep consideration.
"What's the catch?"
"Since I will be alone, I can use abilities."
"And for us?"
"Only your ultimate ability."
"What of yours?"
"I won't use it. Just basic ones."
As I was standing there, I was ruling how this might play out. She's definitely going to be after Chamber since his ultimate ability is a powerful one. Same with Omen's since he can teleport. And it's basically in the dark, too. It might be a balanced fight, but it is in favor of Chamber and Omen right now.
"Deal," Omen said.
Omen left to get Chamber while Fade was getting prepared. The others headed into the watch area and some even went to get the others. I was with Fade as she was getting prepared.
"You sure you can do this?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Be careful, alright. You know you're better than them. I know it, too," I placed my hand on her shoulder.
"I do better knowing you're watching."
"Why's that?"
She turned to face me, a small smirk on her face, "Because I know how much you love seeing my confident side."
"I don't know if it's confident right now, maybe cocky. Which, again, never really saw a cocky side to you."
"I get cocky knowing you're watching. Only when you're watching."
I smiled once more and placed a quick peck to her lips.
"Go get 'em, aşkım."
"Always, sevgili," she said.
Omen and Chamber entered the training arena and Cypher got everything set up. It was the same maze like structure, but a different layout. I headed into the spectating area with the others and the protective glass came up. The lights dimmed until it was completely dark in there. The glass became tinted since we still had lights on. Monitors came down from the ceiling as there were cameras attached to each of them. Same with mics for Omen and Chamber.
"You set, Omen?" Chamber asked.
"Ready."
"Is everyone ready?"
"Ready," we all heard them say.
"In three, two, one," Cypher said. "GO!"
I found myself looking at the one monitor where it had three dots walking around. Omen and Chamber were sticking together. They were going right while Fade was going down the center.
"Where do you think she'll be?" Omen asked Chamber.
"Knowing her, she probably went left to try and sneak up on us."
"That' a long way around," Omen said.
"Then we should split up. You have the best chance out of the two of us to go against her."
"Safety in numbers."
Coming from the corner was one of Fade's abilities. It was her seize. It landed on the ground and grabbed onto Chamber. Omen wasn't in it.
"Omen! I'm grabbed."
"Shit," Omen said.
"Stay away. Just keep going."
One of the dots was getting closer to Chamber. Omen stood his ground, but there was a wall that protected Fade. She shot at Chamber and his green light on his vest turned red. Fade ran down the other direction as Omen chased after her. I didn't notice it before, but my heart was pounding to where it rang in my ears. My throat ran dry and it was hard to swallow. Why was I nervous watching her? I knew she was more than capable of doing this.
Omen rounded the corner and checked every spot he could for her. There was one rule that neither of them thought of. Climbing the walls. Fade was right above him. But she was stalking him, like prey. She raised the gun and aimed right at him. Two Prowlers came out and he shot at the one, but the one grabbed at him.
"İyi geceler," she whispered before shooting Omen, his green dot becoming red.
The lights slowly came back on as Fade jumped down from the wall. She helped Omen up and Omen went to help Chamber.
"That was good," Chamber said.
"Thanks."
"Now I know who I want on my team when we play laser tag," Omen said.
"This was the one and only time I'll play," Fade said.
"Come on, Fade," Chamber said. "You can't just give us a great experience and then never play again."
"I did what I wanted to do. I don't want to do it anymore."
"Suit yourself," Chamber said. "Anyone want to play a few rounds?"
Some of the other agents came out and got their gear ready. Fade removed her vest and placed the gun with the others before leaving the training room. I followed after her and into our shared quarters.
"Hazal," I called out to her.
"Yeah?"
"What was with you today? There is something different."
"Different?"
"Yeah. You're usually not this insane shooter. You're more of like a flanker and someone who finds the enemy first before shooting. Today you were like shoot first, flank later."
"I had to in that laser tag match. It was just myself. If I waited, I would have lost."
"I don't know, Hazal. There is just something different about you today. You really wanted me to watch your training session."
She walked towards me and I ended up being backed up against the wall. She pressed her right forearm against the wall, right above my head. When she gets like this, silent and almost terrifying, it reminds me of the first day I met her. She was intimidating, such a force of nature. Maybe it was because of her black eyeliner or the fact that she was constantly tired. Or it was just who she was. I turned away, my eyes locking onto the paw print tattoo near her collar bone.
"Hey," she whispered.
Her free hand went underneath my chin and she lifted my head up. I found her different colored eyes staring me down. She titled her head slightly to where some strands of hair fell in front of her left eye, leaving only her blue one in sight.
"I said look at me, didn't I?"
"Y-Yeah."
"Then why aren't you?"
"I-I don't know. I'm sorry."
"Don't be, sevgili. Just remember to look at me."
"Always, Hazal."
"Good girl," she whispered as she pressed a firm kiss to my lips.
I melted into her as I wrapped my arms around her neck. Her hands landed on my waist and pulled me close to her. She pulled away and her eyes stared at my neck. I tilted it slightly and that was her cue. She placed her head in the crook of my neck and sank her teeth into my flesh.
"Hazal," I whispered.
Her biting turned into harsh sucking before biting once more. After a few minutes, she pulled away and did it to the other side of my neck. Along with other areas that were visible there. Once she was finished, she ran her tongue along the bruises she created. Happy with what she had done, she pulled away and admired the number of hickeys and bite marks that she left behind. That was one thing about Hazal. She always left a mark behind.

abby anderson x reader (not apocalypse canon) going on a carnival date and it's reader comforting abby's acrophobia on a ferris wheel!
I love this idea! Thank you for requesting!
I'm Here
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Abby Anderson x Fem! Reader CW: N/A WC: 1.1k+ A/N: In a modern setting.
"What do you have planned this time?" Abby asked as I led the way.
"The aquarium is doing something fun! I think it'll be fun if we went."
"What are they doing?"
"They're holding this carnival near the docks. It's filled with all sorts of activities for adults and kids, events later tonight for adults, and there is even free admission to the aquarium! As long as you show them a wristband that you went to the carnival."
"They really have this all planned out."
"They do. And they're going to be doing a live water show down at the dock."
"How did you hear about this?"
"My mom. She suggested I take you since it was my turn to plan a date."
"I would have been more than fine if we sat in your basement and just watched a movie or something."
"I know, but it's a nice day. I wanted to get out of the house. And you didn't hear it from me, but away from my mom."
"Did you two fight or something?"
"No. I just wanted to spend one on one time with you. And I know how she is. If we're at my house, she's coming down to check in on us. She'll come down and try to talk to you or ask if we want anything. That sort of thing. I want us to be unbothered."
"We could always find a way to get the house to ourselves."
"I know, but again, it's a nice day. Might as well be outside."
We reached the aquarium and it was already bustling with people. It had just opened up and there was already a crowd. It was full of age ranges. Parents with their younger kids, with their older kids, grandparents with their grand kids. There were even some dog owners there.
"Come on," I pulled Abby towards the back of the line, before it could get any longer.
We reached the front and they gave us wristbands, which gave us free access to anything in the carnival aside from food, drinks, and the carnival games that were there. As we entered, we walked around what was on the pier first. There were souvenir stands for the aquarium, information stands from the different organizations that put this together, and any food stand anyone could think of. They catered to all types of eaters.
As Abby and I were walking around, I eyed the Ferris Wheel. The one I knew she went on about a few years ago when her and Owen were together. I remember her telling me how scared she was. Abby stopped to look at what I was looking at. As soon as she saw it, she immediately looked away.
"Y-Y/N, we should probably not stand in the middle of the flow of people."
"I want to go on the Ferris Wheel."
"Cool, I'll let you do that," she pulled me aside to where it was acceptable to just stand and gawk at something.
"You should come with me."
"Y/N, you know how I am deathly afraid of heights."
"I know, but will you do this for me?"
She let out a sigh before nodding her head, "J-Just give me a little bit to prep myself."
"You can prep yourself while we wait in line. Because it is pretty long."
"Let me get some water before we head over there."
"Ok."
After we got water, we made our way over to the line. We sat there for a good while. While we were waiting, I could tell Abby was really preparing herself. She was taking in deep breaths and sometimes she would just be staring up at the Ferris Wheel. Sometimes she'd be staring at the water. When it reached our turn, the door swung open and I stepped in first. Abby placed her hands on the outside of the carriage.
"Abby," I extended my hand out for her to take. "I'm right here. I promise you, nothing bad will happen."
"O-Ok," she took my hand and stepped inside.
The door closed and it slowly started to move. Abby squeezed her eyes closed before she grabbed my hand tightly.
"That's it, breathe. I'm right here."
"I shouldn't have let you talk me into this."
"You're doing great, Abs," I said.
I peeked out at the view as we were getting higher and higher. A smile crawled onto my face as I could get a clear view of the ocean.
"Abs, open your eyes. But don't look down."
Her eyes slowly opened and she turned to look behind her. The water was so calming. One of the shows was going on below us and a dolphin jumped out of the water.
"Whoa," Abby smiled.
But as we got higher and higher, all that we could see was the sky and the Space Needle. That was when Abby closed her eyes again.
"L-Let me know when we're down."
"You're going to miss a great view. Just do like what you did when we looked out at the water. Don't look down."
"You say that like it's not immediately the first thing I do."
"Alright, then I got an idea."
I got up, but she grabbed onto me.
"I'm just moving to the other seat. I'm still here. I still have you."
I sat down and was right across from her. Once we reached the peak, I looked out at the view.
"Alright, Abs, open your eyes. You're going to find me right in front of you."
Her eyes slowly opened and I was met with those hazel eyes of hers.
"That's it. Now, move your head to your left."
She did as I said and a smile appeared on her face once more. She could get a clear view of the sky and the Space Needle.
"T-This is incredible."
"See," I smiled. "You're doing great, Abby."
We started to move down and her eyes were focused on watching the buildings coming back into view. Once we reached the bottom, the carriage door swung open and she got out. She helped me out and we were off towards the carnival once more. While she was getting us something to eat, I disappeared to a different area. I returned shortly after and we ate together at the pier, watching one of the animal shows the aquarium was putting on.
After we finished eating, we left the area and started to walk back towards the car. My hand was tightly intertwined with hers and our arms were swaying back and forth.
"You did great today, Abs."
"I almost shit myself," she chuckled.
"But you did great. I have something for you when we get to the car."
"O-Ok?" she sounded a bit concerned.
"It's nothing bad, I promise."
We reached the car and when she turned it on to get the AC running, I pulled out a small little seal plush from my bag.
"For you."
"You didn't have to get me anything," she smiled and took the plush. "It's so soft!"
"I think you deserved something for facing one of your biggest fears. And it reminded me of you."
She smiled, "Thank you."
"Of course."
She leaned towards me and placed her lips against mine.
"I love you."
"I love you, too, Abs."

Done To Us
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fade x Fem! Reader CW: Deception WC: 1.3k+ Synopsis: You're tasked with taking down the notorious Turkish bounty hunter, but memories of the past resurface.
"We have orders that we need to hunt down this target," Cypher slid over a file folder across to me.
"Out of all the agents, why me?" I asked.
"Because we fear you might know who this person is."
I opened up the file folder and my eyes widened slightly. Upon reading the name, I knew who this was. I didn't even need to see the photo of them.
"The others had a run in with her. Myself included. Neon, Sova, Breach, Chamber, and KAY/O as well."
"Where did you first see her?"
"Istanbul. We have records indicating she is still there."
"So you're stalking her?"
"She knows things we don't even know how she obtained."
"What is she doing with them?"
"Right now, holding onto them."
"She's going to use it against you."
"She has everything she needs to know about this organization. Why would she blackmail us?"
"Maybe because you know something she does not."
"She has every piece of information about us. What else does she need to have?"
I sat there and chewed the inside of my cheek. I knew what she was doing. Her and I grew up together. Along with one other person. Their face is evading my memory, but they were important to her just as much as I was. Whenever they disappeared, she lost herself. I'd come over and find her either tired or mentally exhausted. Her demeanor changed from tired, to angry all the time, to almost obsessed with finding out the truth. It grew so much that she hardly slept and nightmares tormented her constantly. I stopped coming around after how much I saw her change. I think that was what made it worse because about a month after I had left her, there was a constant state of panic. News started talking about this new bounty hunter on the loose. Their description matched hers and they even caught footage of her doing terrible things to people.
I remember one news headline where she was surrounded by police and she held someone hostage. There were small black tendrils coming from their eyes and black mist escaping the sides of their mouth. There was something black and almost liquid like on her hands. She was still the same as ever. Tired. Angry. Desperate. She wanted answers to where her friends disappeared to. Even if she was a fully grown woman, that night, I could see that same child, that same teenager who was plagued by her own nightmares. The need to find answers that drove her to almost insanity. That drove her to do such horrid things to people.
"What are the details?"
"Detain and bring her in. Alive. We need her for questioning."
"Again, why me?"
"She's been searching for you."
"How do you know?"
"She caught one of our own back before we were as big of an organization as we are now. She mentioned someone's name. We didn't recognize it. Then she mentioned you. We didn't say anything because we didn't know what she would do if she found out you worked with us. We still don't know what her reaction will be."
"I can tell you one thing, she might come after you guys for not telling her."
"We could always say you came to us after she found our one agent."
"I guess you could say that," I sighed and ran my hand over my eyes.
"We need you, Y/N. Istanbul is not giving us any other choice aside from kill on sight."
"We cannot kill her."
"I know that. That is why I am sending you."
"Fine," I sighed and stood up. "When am I leaving?"
"Since you're standing," Cypher said.
"I take that the answer is now."
He nodded, "Good luck."
I walked past her apartment I knew she lived in. Before I became a full agent of Valorant, I would go past her apartment at times. I wanted to reach out to her, see how she was doing. But there was something in me that always went back to the days before I left. Back to the reason as to why I left. I wanted her to change, I had hoped she did. But she just got worse. I shouldn't have left. She might make me regret my decision on leaving, but I too already regret it. I let out a sigh and walked down to the alley where I knew I was going to find her.
The time leading up to my arrival, an undercover Valorant agent started to spread rumors of me returning. They didn't outright drop my name, but they said someone from Fade's past was back. Since the people there all knew one another and they knew me when I was growing up, the rumors spread quickly to where Fade had caught wind of it. This alley I was going to, was our meet up spot when we were kids. If we were having a rough day or we just needed to get out of the house, this was the spot.
I turned into the alley and there she was, leaning against the wall. The one lone light finally got fixed and I could see her shadow. I couldn't exactly see her face, but I knew it was still the same friend I loved. The same girl I grew up with and had a crush on. But I thought she loved our other friend.
"Fade?" I called out.
She stepped underneath the light with something in her hands. It was a red orb with black around it.
"What is my name?" she asked.
Ever since she became a bounty hunter, everyone has been calling her Fade. It was as if her given name faded from existence.
"Hazal Eyletmez."
"My favorite animal?"
"Cat."
"First pet?"
"Goldfish that you won from a summer carnival that lasted for a week."
"Pet after that?"
"Black cat."
"What did I name him?"
"Knight," I said. "With a 'k' not an 'n'."
"Say something only you and I would know," she said, moving a little closer to me.
The memories of back then came to me like a flood. The three of us running through the streets, being little menaces to those who preyed on the weak. Neither of us were strong, but we had passion. One afternoon, before the sun started to set, the three of us were sitting along the brick wall of the sewers. The smell was so bad but since we were always there, we got used to it. We would stare out along the horizon and dream of what we would become when we got older. Fade wanted to become a fighter, so that she could finally help those in need. I wanted to be a nurse, saving people was my passion. And our other friend wanted to be in secret services. They loved being being the scenes. And there was one thing they said to us. It was the night before they disappeared.
"When we grow up, we should start an organization together."
"What would we be called?" Hazal asked.
"FNS Services."
"Why that?" I asked.
"It stands for Fighter, Nurse, Secret Services. So that anyone who wants to help someone, they can come to us. And we'll accept them. No matter who they are. Just as long as they're not assholes."
"FNS Services," I said.
The glare on her face softened as the orb in her hands disappeared. She walked towards me and reached up, her warm hand resting against my cheek. I reached up and grabbed her hand.
"What did they do to us?" she asked.
"We grew up. That's what happened."
"I got worse," she whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
"I can help you."
"How?"
Tears started to form in my eyes. There was only one way to detain her. She wasn't going to come silently. And of course I had to be the person to do this.
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
I pulled out a syringe and stuck it into her shoulder. She pulled away from me and tried to remove it, but her entire body went numb. She collapsed onto the ground and her eyes slowly closed.
"You owe me, Viper," I said and grabbed my walkie.
"Target detained."

Beautiful Girl
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fade x Fem! Reader CW: None WC: 1.3k+ Synopsis: You get woken up by a thunderstorm and go to Fade for comfort. Eventually the truth comes out about your feelings for her.
A loud boom shook the entire base to where it felt like the entire room was shaking. I immediately shot up to find rain was pounding against the window. A lightning bolt struck and shortly after, a loud thunderous boom shook the base once more. I reached for a blanket, one that my mother made before her passing. I wrapped it around me and while it reminded me of her warm embrace, nothing could replace it. Another lightning strike, another boom and I was shaking underneath the blanket. I turned to find the light glow of Fade's phone.
"F-Fade?" I asked.
The screen shut off and she turned to face me. She was awake. I guess one of her nightmares woke her up.
"Did I wake you?"'
"No," she said softly.
"Nightmares again?"
"And the storm."
"I-I know we're just friends, but do you think I could lay beside you?"
She shifted around before she threw the blankets open. I got up and made my way across the room and into her twin bed. She placed the blankets down and turned to where her back was facing me.
"Fade?"
"Yeah."
"Was it that night again?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry," I said.
"Why are you apologizing? You had nothing to do with the incident."
"I feel bad that you have to live through these nightmares again and again. With no end in sight of them ever stopping."
"It's just what happens when your radiant powers deal with nightmares and seeing what people fear."
"Have you ever thought of using them against the others on the team?"
"I used them once, but that was during training. I don't actively do it unless they want to. Which why would they?"
"I've always wondered what my nightmare would be."
"Do you not experience nightmares?"
"The typical ones. Where you're running and you can't get anywhere. Or something is chasing you."
She turned to where she was now facing me.
"Why would you want to know something that deeply haunts you? Just for you to relive it?"
I shrugged, "Just for my knowledge."
"Well, unfortunately with my powers, not only will you experience it, but so will I. But your secret is safe with me."
"Maybe one day," I said. "If you're willing."
"You have to be mentally prepared for it."
"One day," I said.
Silence fell among us except for the rain hitting against the windows.
"Have you ever played truth or dare?"
"No."
"Want to?"
"There's nothing else we can do. I'm awake and I think you are as well."
"I'll take that as a yes."
"Yes."
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth," she said.
"Your most embarrassing memory," I said.
"Probably the time when I mistook my neighbor's cat as mine and tried so hard to convince my neighbors they stole my cat. I then turn around and find my cat right beside me. The most embarrassing part of it, my cat was black. Theirs was white."
I chuckled.
"The worst part was I argued for so long that they dyed my cat to be white."
"That is embarrassing."
"It was. I don't think anything can top that. Alright, truth or dare."
"Truth."
"What is something you can never forget?"
"My mom's passing."
"That was a quick answer."
"Well, it just happened recently. Grief is one thing you can never really forget. It sticks with you. The phrase time heals all wounds is bullshit. It heals physical wounds."
"I can agree with that."
"Alright, truth or dare?"
"Oar," Fade said.
I laughed and playfully shoved her. Since we were very close to the edge, she almost fell out of the bed, which caused me to laugh even more.
"I'm so sorry," I said through my laughing fit. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah. It's not like when I fell out of a bunk bed when I was younger. I'll take a dare this time."
"Hmm, let's see."
"Don't do anything horrible for the dare."
"Yell the first word that comes to mind," I said.
"Do I really have to yell?"
"Ok, not yell. But kind of loudly."
"Actually, I might as well yell it. Siktir!"
"What does that mean?"
"Fuck."
"Ah. Alright, I'll take a dare since you took one."
"I dare you to do something you're afraid of," she said.
Fuck. That was one thing I could not do. I faced several of my fears that needed to be faced. But this one, the one she was asking me to do. I couldn't. Even though we were roommates and somewhat close friends, there was one thing she did not know about me. I have a massive crush on her. That is why whenever we are close to one another, I cherish it because I fear my feelings for her will get in the way of our friendship. It wouldn't be seen as professional here. But on the other hand, Killjoy and Raze are together. But they make a cute couple. Fade and I are complete opposites of one another.
"I can't," I whispered.
"Does it involve something bad?" she asked.
"No, I-I just can't."
Fade shifted a bit, "Why? What are you so afraid of?"
Instead of it sounding pushy, she was actually curious.
"I-I'm afraid of making things awkward between us. Especially after what I do."
The gears were turning in her head, as if she already knew what I was afraid of. It was now or never. Time to see if this will actually ruin us.
"What are you--"
I moved closer to her and pressed my lips against hers. I pulled away after a few seconds to find Fade completely shocked. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was slightly agape. For the first time I have ever seen, a pink hue crawled along her cheeks.
"I-I'm sorry. I-I should have just told you my feelings towards you instead of invading your personal space. I-I--" I turned away from her, but her soft hand reached up and brushed up against my cheek.
Her hand guided my head back to face her. There was such a soft look in her eyes as we held one another's gaze once more. She pulled me towards her and softly pressed her lips to mine. We stayed like that for a few minutes before she pulled away, placing her forehead against mine.
"Took you long enough."
"You knew?"
"Yes."
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"I wanted you to make the first move."
"Fuck you, Hazal," I chuckled.
A small smile formed and I could feel my heart melt for her all over again. Of course the moment was ruined as another thunderous boom shook the entire base. I yelped a bit before wrapping my arms around Fade. She pulled me close to her as one arm wrapped around my waist while the other was around my upper back. Her left hand dug into the back of my hair and she carefully ran her hand through my H/C strands.
"Shh, shh, I got you."
My shoulders started to tremble as I buried my face further into Fade's hoodie she was wearing.
"Close your eyes, have no fear. The monster's gone, he's on the run and I am here. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl."
I picked my head up and Fade looked down at me.
"Did you just sing?"
She nodded, "Was it bad?"
"N-No," I felt my face heat up. "It's cute," I smiled.
She smiled back at me before pressing a kiss to my forehead.
"I got you."
"You know you're beautiful too, Hazal."
She just nodded, "As long as you believe it, so will I."
Her shoulders shook as her hands dug into the back of my shirt, balling the fabric tightly in her hands. My hands ran through her black and gray hair.
"Shh, shh, I got you, Fade."
Another nightmare.
"I'm here," I cooed.
Tears slowly slid down her face as her eyes squeezed tightly shut. We were just laying on the couch after a long day and she was actually getting some decent sleep. Until this happened.
"Close your eyes, have no fear. The monster's gone, he's on the run and I am here. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl."
Her entire body relaxed and her eyes weren't squeezed tightly anymore. Her hands flinched just a bit before they relaxed as well, laying flat against my back.
"Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl."
With the last verse, Fade seemed to finally drift off to sleep as a light hum came from her, almost as if it were a purr if she were a cat. Which she was to me. I rubbed her head before planting a long kiss to her head.
"Sleep well, Hazal."

The Turkish Nightmare
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fade x Fem! Reader CW: Human experimentation WC: 2.0k+ A/N: *record scratch* Yep. I'm back at it again. Back to writing about video game women who I saw in a trailer and then proceeded to play the game because of said character. The original character I saw that made me interested in the game was Reyna. (Typical) But then I watched a few of the trailers and found Fade's. Everything is history after that.
"She's a monster. A nightmare."
"She is too unstable to be let out."
"She can't be trusted. Not until we can figure out what's going on."
"If we can figure out what is happening to her, then we could possibly help her."
"She can't be helped. End of story. There is no way to help a monster. There is no saving her."
"Stop!" I slammed my hands onto the desk.
Everyone picked their heads up to find I was standing now. This meeting was crucial in our next steps of testing. But I heard enough. They weren't planning on doing anything other than up the intensity to the point where she either kills herself or kills us. My bet is on her killing us because of the hell we were putting her through.
Making her relive her worst nightmares. Relive the past trauma she tried so desperately to escape and heal from. But here we are, using her powers against her in order for us to get a better understanding at what those powers are. It's inhumane. Not right. And it pained me every time I walked into that room to find her on that testing table, with things attached to her head and IVs in her arm.
She looked so defeated with bags under her eyes, constantly asking to be brought food or water, to use the restroom. To be treated like a human, not a lab rat. And every time she was subjected to her own horrors, it made me want to cancel the entire program. But this was needed. It wasn't needed. It wasn't even necessary. It was their way to get rid of someone without killing them personally. The human psyche can only take so much before it snaps. And I don't want to be on the receiving end.
"We cannot do this to her," I whispered.
"She is a threat."
"A monster."
"A nightmare."
"She is a human being! And thus must be treated as such!"
"She is a monster!"
"She is just a person who is suffering by the nightmares she had created on herself! Where do you think those nightmares are coming from? Do you ever consider what she is subjecting herself to by our hands? She is reliving those terrors of her past over and over, again and again. I don't think any of you want to relive that. Let alone, be forced to experience it for so many days on end. And then to be treated like a lab rat instead of a person. We are scientists. Some of us are doctors and we took an oath to not harm the patient. And we are harming the patient."
The room went dead. So dead that the air grew colder and the sound of a pin dropping could be heard.
"What do you suggest we do?" one of the leading scientists, other than myself, asked.
"We put her in a controlled area and we observe from there. We cannot run tests on her because we are getting the same output. We are getting no where with our research aside from these nightmares stem from her past. If we put her in a situation where everything seems normal, we might be able to get a glimpse of her powers and abilities in a natural way instead of them being forced out. She also needs human to human interaction."
"Are you going to assign someone?"
"I will be doing it myself."
"Then that settles it for this meeting."
I grabbed my folders and papers before leaving the room. One of my colleagues came up to me after I had returned to my desk.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes. If someone is going to gain her trust, it is someone she has had no prior connection with. The majority of everyone on the team has had at least a few interactions with her. She already associates them with terrible things they have done to her."
My friend nodded, "All the luck to you."
The following day after that meeting, I had gathered her breakfast before I entered the new area she was going to be in. It mirrored a bedroom. So instead of the white walls with florescent lights, it was a soft blue color with normal lighting. There was even a window that let her see outside. There was a bookshelf, desk, dresser and drawers for what little belongings she had. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
"Who is it?" she asked in such a soft tone I almost didn't hear her.
"My name is Y/N," I said.
"I don't think I ever met you."
"You might not have. I was hoping I could talk to you."
There was no answer.
"I brought you breakfast. In case you were hungry."
"What kind of breakfast?"
"Well, I did a little bit of research and found that your home country calls it kahvalti. I wasn't able to get you any tea unfortunately, along with some other food items. But I do have some eggs, cheese, and sausages. And some fruit as well."
"I don't really drink tea anyway."
"Does coffee work?"
"Yeah."
"I'll leave this out here for you."
"Wait."
Soft footsteps made their way to the door. The door slowly opened up and I found her to be standing in front of me. Ever since we started this program, we had never used her given name. We had named her after the project name: Fade. Project Fade. The others call her The Turkish Nightmare after getting details of what she has done to people before she was brought here.
"T-Thank you," she took the tray from my hands.
"Of course."
"Y-You. I-I've seen you before."
"You have?"
"Yes. Behind the glass in the testing room. You are with other people who wore lab coats. You always looked tired."
"I always am tired," I let out a sigh.
"But you're not like the others."
"How so?"
"I remember one day, I was sitting in that testing room..."
I walked into the room behind the testing room. The window was large enough to where we could see every inch of that room. Fade was sitting on the bench with multiple things attached to her head. IVs were in her arms as well and she was in a hospital gown. I could see the henna tattoos from her hands and up her arms. There was another tattoo on her collarbone area. And a scar ran across from the left side of her face and along the bridge of her nose, stopping in the center of her right cheek. She had a septum piercing, bottom lip piercings, and a lot of earrings. There were dark bags under her eyes, but out of everything that made her who she was, those weren't what drew me to her. It was her heterochromia. One brown eye and one blue.
There were numerous results that had come back where it felt like I was reading the same thing. I ran a hand through my hair and let out a sigh, setting the papers down. I placed my hands on the table and picked my head up. I peered through the window to find her sitting on that bench, so defeated and so tired. It was like I was looking at a mirror. Same expression, but a completely different person.
"We need to stop this," I said.
"What?"
"We need to stop this," I said once more, a bit louder.
"We can't just stop the testing."
"I don't care," I turned to face the others. "We need to stop this!"
The room went silent.
"We have a patient in there who looks like they're on death's door. Or at least praying and asking to be killed. That is unacceptable! She is here so that we can gain knowledge on her powers, not treat her like she is some monster."
"Because she is."
"She is not! She is not a monster. All of you are monsters for treating her like this!"
No one moved.
"Fine. If none of you are willing to put a stop to this, I will."
I stormed out of that room and into the testing room.
"Hey, you can't be in here," said a nurse.
"I am the head of this research and I say we are done."
"Y-You can't just--"
"We are done," I said and turned off the machines.
I stepped towards Fade and found her eyes were so void of life. She wasn't even looking at me.
"This might hurt," I whispered to her. "May I see your arm?"
She moved it to where it was closer to me. I reached up and grabbed the IV.
"I am going to remove the IV. It might bleed a little."
"That's fine," she mumbled. "Not like I haven't bled before."
"I'm sorry," I said and removed the IV. I immediately grabbed some gauze and wrapped it around where the IV was inserted. I did the same with her other arm.
"I'm going to remove these from your head," I said and tapped the wires that were attached to her.
She just nodded.
"This might hurt, too."
I removed the adhesives from her skin and the wires fell onto the ground. Her eyes slowly found mine. Standing in front of her like this, there was a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
"You were the first one to not call me a monster," she whispered.
"Because you're not."
"Do you not know what they called me?"
"No. I don't. I only get the test results back and file that information."
"When I came in," she said.
"Would you like to sit down?"
"Please," she nodded.
"Am I allowed in the room?"
"Yes."
I slowly entered and she sat on the bed while I sat in the chair that was at her desk. She took the mug of coffee and slowly sipped it.
"When I first came in and they did their first ever test, they were reading the report that they received."
"What did they say?"
"I can't remember much, but this one title they gave me stuck out."
"Was it a title they gave you?"
"Yeah."
"What was it, if you don't mind me asking?"
"The Turkish Nightmare."
"Your powers," I began.
"They cause people to relive their worst fears. Their worst nightmares."
"So I have seen from the tests."
"It can do a lot of damage to people," she said.
"That is why I wanted us to stop the testing."
Her eyes found mine once more.
"You were the one that stopped it?"
"Yes. I was the one who stopped it. I was the one who ordered that they remove you from the testing room and into this room. To make you feel more comfortable here."
"Why?"
"You're not a monster, Fade," I said. "You're not a nightmare. You're just a person. A woman who is trying to get past what they have done to people."
She shook her head, "I am a monster. I am a nightmare."
"Not to me."
"What makes you different than everyone else?"
"Because I can see the toll it is taking on you."
"Why do you care about me?"
"You're more than just someone who we are trying to run tests on. You're more than what you believe yourself to be, Fade. And I care about you because there is something more to you. Something different. Something that wants to be free and understood. But you're anything but understood."
"You don't know me."
"You're right. I don't. But I would like to try."
She looked skeptical at first by the way she furrowed her eyebrows at me. But then her expression softened.
"I want to make one thing clear."
"What's that?"
"If I am to interact with anyone, I want it to be you. And only you."
"Consider it done. Because that has already happened."
"So tomorrow, when breakfast time is near, or lunch, or dinner, or whatever, it'll only be you?"
"Only me."
"Did you request it that way?"
"I made sure it was only me. You already know the majority of the staff because they ran numerous tests on you. You only know me from that one interaction we had. Although it was brief, I can tell it changed something in you."
"It was because you didn't treat me like a monster."
"I never will, Fade."
"Thank you."
"I'll let you eat. There are some things I need to get done. I'll be back to check in on you, Fade."
"Hazal," she said.
I turned, surprised that she said her given name.
"I-I can't say your name. I'm sorry."
"I know," she said sadly. "I just want you to know that if and when I get out of here, and you by some chance find me, please call me that. So I know it's you."
I smiled, "Of course."

Abby Anderson x Fem! Reader CW: N/A WC: 1.0k+ A/N: Happy Pride, everyone! What a better way than to celebrate than writing about the fictional character that made me realize I am a lesbian! Set in a modern era.
"Abby!" I sang throughout the apartment.
"What's up, babe?" she asked.
"Guess what tomorrow is!"
Her eyes flicked up towards the ceiling as the gears turned in her head.
"It's not your birthday, is it?"
"Not yet."
"It's not my birthday," she said.
"Nope."
"It's not your mother's birthday."
"It's no one's birthday," I chuckled.
"Uhh, start of summer?" she asked.
"I guess you can say that. But not the answer I am looking for."
"What is it?"
"Pride month!"
"Pride?" she asked.
"You never heard of Pride?"
"No," she said. "Remember, I was in a relationship with Owen before we got together."
"I know, but I just thought you might have heard of it from Lev or even Yara."
"Neither of them have spoken to me about it."
"I'm surprised. Maybe we can bring Lev and Yara!"
"To what?"
"Pride!"
"What is Pride?"
"June is the month of Pride. There's a lot of history behind it, but I can get to that in a moment. Pride is when everyone who is in the LGBTQIA+ community to come together and celebrate who they are."
"Shouldn't they technically get to celebrate who they are every month?"
"Yes, but Pride is very important because of its historical significance."
"Why specifically June?" she asked, genuine curiosity in her eyes.
"Well, a bar called Stonewall Inn was a gay bar. And back then in the 60s it was frowned upon to be gay. There were police involved and it was known as the Stonewall Uprising. And a year after that incident, which took place at the end of June, they celebrated it."
"I see," she said.
"A lot has changed since then, as you can tell."
"Yeah," she whispered.
She remembered the time I came out to my family. My mother was the most supportive while my father was confused. It led to them fighting so much that he just walked out. My extended family members were confused, but accepted me with time. Abby, on the other hand, didn't really identify as one or the other.  She was there when I came out because we were friends at the time. It was back when she was dating Owen. Of course with her support, I developed feelings for her and when her and Owen broke up, I just stepped back. I didn't want to pressure her into something or make her think I was making moves on her after breaking up.
But after I supported her, like how she did with me, that was when she realized her feelings for me. However, she doesn't know how to identify. I don't think it really bothers her as much. All that is for certain is that we love one another no matter what either of us identify as.
"There are events going on tomorrow. They're starting with a parade and some other activities afterwards."
"We should go."
"Can we take Lev?" I asked.
"Yeah. I don't think he would mind. Let me ask him," she pulled out her phone and texted Lev and Yara.
It didn't take long for them to message back. They wanted to attend as well. Since we lived close to where the parade was going to be taking place, they were going to come to our place for the night.
"We should get things ready!"
"What are we doing?"
"Well, I figured we could get flags to wear. Or maybe even a shirt."
She smiled, "You're really into this."
"It'll be my first Pride celebration with you," I reached over and grabbed her hand. "I want it to be special."
"And we will make it special," she said and pecked my lips.
Before Lev and Yara came over, the two of us got some things ready for the parade tomorrow. By the time they arrived, we had decorated the house with banners of all the different pride flags, there were pins and buttons we could wear. And there were various shirts we got. That night we went out for dinner as like a pre-celebration for tomorrow. When we reached the apartment later that evening, all four of us watched a movie before heading to bed.
In the morning, Abby woke all of us by making breakfast for us. They were special pancakes she worked extra hard to perfect. One was a trans flag for Lev. The other was the lesbian flag for me. Yara had an ally one and hers was something I didn't expect. I would have expected to see the ally flag. But hers was the bi flag.
"Is this your official coming out?" I chuckled.
She shrugged, "I guess. I don't really know what the others are aside from the ones you have shown me for Lev and yourself."
"How did you come across this?"
"Googled it."
"I have to know what exactly you typed into the search engine."
"I just put in 'attracted to both men and women' and bisexual came up."
"You know, you don't have to go off what the internet says. Sure it's a way to have some guidance, but it shouldn't be your definitive answer."
"Well, the human life is all about growth and change. Bisexual seems a good answer for right now. Who knows," she slipped me another lesbian flag pancake onto my plate. "It might change."
After we all ate breakfast and got ready for the parade, we headed out and down towards the main strip of where it was going to be. Lev seemed the most excited as he pulled out the trans flag he had tucked under his arm. Yara helped tie it around him like a sash. As the parade started, there were numerous people walking down. They were from organizations that helped organize the parade as well as people who supported the community. Some were even queer themselves.
Towards the end of the parade, the crowd was starting to thin down as there were activities else where.
"Did you want to go to those places?" Abby asked.
"Yeah, but I want to do one thing."
"What's that?"
"Well, while we were getting ready to go, I made something kind of quick. The sewing job is haphazardly done, but it was able to stick together."
"What did you do?"
I pulled out a flag that was cut in half and sewn together. One side was the lesbian flag while the other was the bisexual flag. Abby smiled as she grabbed the one corner and draped it around us.
"Happy Pride, Abby," I said.
"Happy Pride, Y/N," she pressed a kiss to my lips.

Abby Anderson x Fem! Reader
CW: Mentions of self-harm
WC: 1.0k+
A/N: Kind of a continuation of Ride or Die.
It was odd that Abby always wore long sleeves no matter how hot it was outside. She could be sweating her ass off, but she had on sleeves with basketball shorts. I found it strange, but when I asked her, she brushed it off or evaded the question. I kept asking her and she kept getting more and more evasive. We have been dating for almost a year now and she still does it. There's nothing much I can do when it gets to the fall and winter seasons, because it's normal for people to wear long sleeves. What was she hiding from me?
If it were scars, she doesn't have to be ashamed of anything. No matter the story, there is nothing wrong with going through hell and showing you survived. It just shows that you're not going to go down without a fight, even though you suffered in silence. But after everything she has shown me, introduced me to her father, it sounds like she didn't struggle at all. But struggling is silent, depending on the person.
"Abby?"
"Yeah?"
"Whatever it is you're hiding," I began.
"This again?"
"Yes, this again. Look, I don't want to talk long about it. But just know that whatever it is you're hiding, I don't care how it came about."
"What?"
"Usually when you hide your arms, you're trying to not reveal something."
"I'm just used to wearing long sleeves in summer."
"I get that, but still, you don't have to hide anything from me."
She nodded, "Got it."
What was I expecting? For her to reveal why she covers her arms? For her to trauma dump on me? Yes. I was expecting something, but for her to just brush it off again, it ticked me off. I just sighed and shook my head. She didn't seem to notice since she hasn't said anything about it since.
Now it wasn't like I was going to force her to show me or tell me. It was her business and her story. She will tell it to me in all due time. But it just made me more interested in the story. I just wish she told me and I didn't have to find out on accident.
"Abby," I opened the door to the bathroom after she finished a shower. Yes, we got to that part of the relationship.
"I need to talk to you about some--" I picked my head up to find she had just gotten out and her towel was around her body.
I was totally wrong about the reason why she hid her arms. I shouldn't have even jumped to that conclusion earlier. From her wrist and all the way to her shoulders, were full sleeve tattoos. On her right arm was a long Chinese dragon at the center. There were other items, such as flowers and fire around the dragon. On her left arm was a long vine like flora snaking up it. In between the leaves were various images as well. I think one was even a hammer. Or was it a knife? Or both? Whatever it was, both of the sleeve tattoos looked pretty badass. And knowing she drove a motorbike, it just made something inside my heart pound with excitement.
"I-I am so sorry," I said as I backed out of the bathroom.
"Y/N, wait."
"Get dressed first."
I closed the door and sat on the bed. The door opened up and she was wearing a short sleeve shirt with joggers. She sat down beside me and let out a heavy sigh.
"I'm sorry for not telling you earlier."
"I-I don't mind now that I know."
"I was just afraid you'd see me differently if you knew I have this many tattoos."
"Can I see your arm?"
She lifted up the one closest to me. I ran the pads of my fingers along her arm. I patted her bicep as I smiled up at her.
"Still the same arms that hold me tightly when giving me a hug. Still the same arms that wrap around my waist when you want to kiss me. You're still the same person, Abby."
"I-I know, but people think differently about people who have tattoos. Especially sleeves."
"Abby, you're a biker. I've seen many people who ride motorbikes who don't have tattoos. I've seen people with a full body of tattoos. Seeing you with them, while I was a little surprised at first, it just makes you who you are."
She smiled, "So you're not mad?"
"I'm mad you didn't tell me sooner!"
"Why?"
"In the summer time, when you ride, you have to show them off! Just imagine it, you with your helmet on--since no one can see you're a girl with your helmet on--and they just see this big, buff person stroll up. They have tattoos littering their arms and they're wearing nothing but a tank top and shorts. Tell me you don't think that's badass?"
She chuckled a bit, "Yeah, they are a bit badass."
"And that person is you. You're badass, Abby."
She kissed the side of my head, "Thank you."
"You better do that in the summer time."
"I will, just for you. But I just want you to know, you better help me put sunscreen on them."
"I will. Is that why you wear long sleeves in the summer?"'
"Yes. It helps reduce the amount of sun the tattoos see."
I nodded my head, "I wouldn't have minded doing that for you."
"I know, but I was just nervous about it."
"I told you, you don't need to hide anything from me. Well, you shouldn't feel scared about coming to me about anything. Your tattoos, they don't change who you are on the inside, Abby."
She leaned towards me and pressed a light kiss to my lips.
"Thank you, for loving me for who I am."
"Always, Abs," I said and pecked her lips. "Always. You know what this means, don't you?"
"No. What?"
"When we are being intimate, I get to kiss every inch of your arms."
A dark look appeared in her eyes as she turned and pinned me to the bed.
"You know I am a visual learner."
"I know."
"Give me a demonstration," she growled.

Ride or Die
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Abby Anderson x Fem! Reader CW: Language WC: 1.0k+ A/N: In a modern setting.
"Did you see that person on the way here?" my friend asked.
"No. Who was it?"
"I don't know, but they were absolutely killing it on their motorbike."
"Wasn't it a motorcycle?"
"No, a motorcycle is different. They're more like old fashioned whereas motorbikes are like newer, they're sleeker, designed to go high speeds. Motorcycles can go high speeds, but they're clunky."
"Anyway, what about this person made them amazing and 'killing it'?"
"I take it you've never seen someone driving a motorbike."
"No, I haven't."
"There is this aura about them. They just look so cool."
"You think they look cool?"
"Yeah. Just imagine it, going 90 on the highway, weaving in and out of traffic."
"It sounds reckless," I said.
"Come on, Y/N. Live for the danger! The excitement! The thrill!"
I shook my head, "Nope."
"You live too much of a calm and peaceful life. Where is the fun?"
"This," I said and pointed to the table full of friends. It was our monthly lunch get together that we had to reschedule about five times.
"You hardly get out," one said.
"Sorry a girl has a job and a hobby," I sighed and sipped my water.
"We get it, you're a busy bee, but you need to have some excitement in your life."
"I am good with my little home with my books and cat."
As we were eating our lunch, the sound of an engine came echoing down the road. My friends turned their heads and started to giggle like high school girls. Great. This was the person they were talking about earlier. They wore a black helmet, a gray hoodie, and black cargo joggers. They parked right outside of the building we were in and came inside. They still had the helmet on and they made their way over to the bar. My friends were still gawking at them, while I was genuinely curious about the person. They removed their helmet and a long braid came out and landed right in the middle of their back.
"Abby!" the bartender cried.
"Hey, Manny. How have things been?" she greeted her friend.
"Damn," my friend said.
"What? Did you think it was going to be some hot guy?" I asked a little too loudly.
Abby turned her head slightly in our direction.
"You can't always assume a motorist is a guy. There are plenty of females who drive motorbikes and motorcycles."
My friends all gave me that look. I sighed and shook my head. They knew my type. I had a secret fascination about women who can drive motorcycles or motorbikes. There was just something undeniably cool about them. They just looked so badass.
"No," I said firmly.
"Go talk to her."
"No. I am here with you guys. I wish I wasn't at this current moment in time, but I am here for you. Not for anything else."
"Come on, Y/N. What were we talking about earlier? Have some fun! Have some excitement."
"And I am fine with my books at home and my cat. Which speaking of, he's probably getting lonely."
As I started to eat again, my friends all looked at one another before one of them jumped out of the booth.
"For fuck's sake, get back here," I tried to grab her arm, but she tore through my grip and headed straight towards the bar.
"This is why I don't come out with any of you," I hissed through clenched teeth.
I didn't dare look over at my friend who was talking to the woman. But I did hear her laugh. It was soft and light. It was a laugh that made my heart flutter a bit. My friend came back over and sat back down, handing me something.
"What is this?"
"Her number."
"You've got to be kidding me."
"I'm not."
I sighed and took it, "Thanks."
After we had finished eating, my friends and I started to leave, but before I did, I stopped over at the bar.
"Abby, right?" I asked her.
"Yeah."
"Y/N," I said and shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you."
"I apologize about my friends. They can get a bit interesting at times."
She chuckled, "I completely understand. I have a few friends like that."
"And you really don't have to go out with me if you don't want to."
"I want to."
"W-What?"
"Yeah, I want to. You're cute."
My face started to flush and I stumbled over my own words. Another smile formed on her face.
"T-Thank you. Y-You're pretty."
"Thank you."
"I-I'll text you then."
"I'll be looking forward to it."
There was a loud knock on my apartment door, causing me to jump a bit. My cat jumped from his perch and wandered over, meowing at the door. I got up and opened it, finding Abby on the other side.
"Hey, Abs," I smiled, my heart fluttering all over again for her.
"Ready?"
"Y-Yeah."
"Hey, there," Abby chuckled and bent down to pick up my cat.
He meowed loudly as he clung onto her shoulder.
"Seems someone took a liking to you."
"What do you mean? He always liked me."
"Which is odd for him, because he doesn't like anyone. Not even me."
"Can't help it I attract all the pussies."
"Abby!" I smacked her shoulder.
"It's true," she chuckled.
Not even five months into dating and she has to say shit like this.
"Put him down or we're never going to get out of here."
"Fine," she set him down and he entered the apartment.
I closed the door behind me and locked it. I followed Abby out of the building and towards the parking lot, where she had parked her bike.
"Here, don't forget this," she tossed me a helmet.
"Thanks," I said. "W-Where are we going again?"
"You'll see," she said and put her helmet on.
That was one thing I will never get over, how attractive she looked in her gear and helmet. I got on after she did and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Hold on tight," she said.
"Believe me, I will."
"You wanted to do this."
"I know, b-but I'm still nervous."
"I'll go slow. And I won't pop a wheelie. Maybe," she said as she turned on the bike.
"Abby, I swear," I sighed.
"Don't worry. I won't do anything that's scary."
We drove out of the parking lot and onto the main road. She was weaving in and out of traffic, of course the cars were honking at her. She just waved to them like it was just a normal day for her. Which it was. But to me, it wasn't a normal day. Because it was a day with the one I fell madly in love with. My ride or die.

Remember Me
Tumblr media
Olivia x Fem! Reader CW: N/A WC: 1.2k+ A/N: Bit of a different x reader one shot than my normal ones.
"What are you holding?"
"Nothing."
"Don't lie to me. You've been hanging out too much with Erik and I know how he can get."
"It's honestly nothing, Liv."
She stared me down and slowly nodded her head, "Alright, don't tell me. But just to let you know, there is one way for me to find out. I'll just go talk to Erik."
"You cannot tell anyone else."
"What did you do?"
I stepped to the side to reveal there was a large egg on my hammock. She stared at it, wide eyes, before her eyes darted to find mine.
"You're kidding?"
"I'm not."
"Is it a Rathian egg?"
"N-No," I winced slightly.
"What kind of egg is it? Arkveld? Uth Duna?"
"Rey Dau."
"A fucking--"
"Shh!" I grabbed her hand.
"A fucking Rey Dau?"
Olivia hardly ever swears. So for her to swear, I knew it was a big deal.
"Yes, a Rey Dau."
"Y/N, how did you find this egg?"
"It was abandoned."
"How do you know?"
"Erik and I were scouting out in the plains and came across a nest. It was this egg. We monitored it over the course of the week. He and I would take turns watching it from afar. No other Rey Dau came to take care of it. So we assumed the parents either abandoned it or died."
"You can't raise a monster like how you can raise a baby. Or a pet."
"Well, I am going to try."
"Once it hatches, every one will know. The Hunter will be coming after it."
"A baby?"
"Yes. Y/N, you've seen the Rey Dau. You've seen how aggressive and powerful they can get."
"I know, but I was hoping that if it was raised by a human, it might learn faces and not be as aggressive."
"It is in their nature to be aggressive."
"I know. But, please, Liv. Please help me raise this little guy?"
Olivia sighed as she nodded her head, "Fine. I will see what I can do. Maybe we can make a pop-up camp somewhere out in the plains and stay there."
"Thank you, Liv."
She smiled and nodded her head, "Of course."
Finding an excuse to be away for an extended period of time was rough. When Olivia needed to be on hunts and other expeditions, she would leave the secluded pop-up camp and I would tend to the Rey Dau egg. I didn't know the incubation period that well, considering we have never run across a monster egg that hasn't hatched.
But one summer night, about a month after I had found the egg, Olivia came down to the area to find me sitting outside the tent. There were small cracks forming along the middle of the egg.
"Olivia, come quickly!"
She hurried over to find the mouth of the wyvern poking out before its face fully emerged. A little roar could be heard, but it sounded more of a squeak. Once the Rey Dau was fully hatched, it slowly walked over to where I was. Even at a young age it had some teeth already growing.
"Look at him!" I picked up the Rey Dau. It was already the size of a small dog. Maybe corgi sized.
"I will say, he is a cutie," Olivia chuckled.
"What shall we name you?" I asked.
"You're going to name it?"
"Yes."
"If you name it, you'll just get attached to him."
"Liv, this Rey Dau does not have a mother or a father. If we release it out into the wild now, it will die."
"So you're going to take care of it?"
"Yes. Isn't this what we talked about earlier."
"I said I'd help hatch the egg. But raising a monster is a different story. We can't keep it down here forever. It needs to learn how to hunt, how to fly, how to fend for itself. Things we cannot teach it."
"I know, but I was hoping instinct would take over."
"Flying is taught. Hunting is taught. We cannot teach this thing how to hunt or fly without the help of another monster. It needs to be assimilated with its own kind."
"And it's not like there are thousands of Rey Daus out here, unlike the numerous Quematrices we find."
"Y/N, I would love to help you, truly I do. B-But, with me being a hunter and you being a researcher, I-I don't think I can do this."
"What? Help me?"
"Be with you. This goes against everything."
"The guild gives you authorizations to kill monsters. Does the guild authorize you to kill helpless ones?"
At this point, the Rey Dau was squirming in my hands. I set him down and it walked towards the tent. My Palico friend meowed at it and the Rey Dau chirped happily. Olivia turned her attention to the Rey Dau. It was just a baby. There was no threat from it, but she had a duty.
"I'll see you later, Y/N," she said and walked towards the exit of the cave.
Just like that, our relationship we had, was over. She didn't come to see me or see how the Rey Dau was doing. I had to make plans on how to ensure the proper growth of this monster. Once it was starting to get cramped, I moved the pop-up camp outside by the oasis. Of course I would have to worry about monster attacks, but as the Rey Dau grew and observed over monsters, it started to defend me and the camp.
One rainy night, it was sleeping outside my tent while I was inside trying to keep warm. Lightning could be seen and thunder shook the entire tent. There was a distant roar and as a flash of lightning illuminated the area, the shadow of the Rey Dau stood up. I poked my head out to find a Rathalos had found the camp. It was flying in the air while the Rey Dau was still on the ground. That was the one thing it struggled with: flight. But to my surprise and shock, the Rey Dau flew into the air and took down the Rathalos in an instant. Its foot clamped around the neck and the Rey Dau slammed the Rathalos down onto the ground. It even grabbed its head and ripped it off, roaring triumphantly in the night air. For the first time since I watched this monster hatch from its egg, fear crawled through my chest.
In the morning, I packed all my things to go. Right as I turned around, the Rey Dau poked its head into the tent. A low purr like growl came from its throat as its curiosity led it to peek inside. A sad smile appeared on my face as I reached out to touch it. Its head pushed further in to where I hugged its head.
"You're a good boy, aren't you?"
His eyes closed as his mouth opened slightly, a happy little roar coming from him. I rubbed his head as tears started to fill my eyes.
"I'm sorry, bud. I have to leave you."
His head pulled back and a high pitched growl was followed.
"You belong out there, bud. With the other monsters."
His eyes dropped down and his head backed out of the tent. I finished getting everything and I walked out of the tent. The Rey Dau was sitting outside, waiting for me. He came over to me and I rubbed his head once more, like how I always did every morning and night.
"I know, bud. I know. I just hope you'll remember me."
After I left the camp, a low whine rang in the air as I walked over the sand dune and back towards base camp. When I returned, Olivia was there waiting for me.
"Hey," she whispered.
"Hey," I said.
"I want to talk to you."
"Ok," was all I said.

Lose You
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Abby Anderson x Fem! Reader CW: Death at the end WC: 1.8k+
"You've always been careful, you've always planned everything out, and you want to go out there now?" Abby asked as she was about to change into her sleepwear.
"I heard something about a cargo coming through here with precious supplies," I said.
"I mean, kind of a good time for that to happen," Abby gestured to the large window where the sky was pitch black, rain was pounding against the glass, and lightning could be seen every other five minutes. "B-But how did you even hear about this?"
"I was out on patrol today," I began.
"With who?"
"Manny."
"Go on."
"And we came across these guys that were talking about some cargo coming in. Abby," I walked towards her. "It's not even from the US."
"It came from a different country?"
"Yes."
"Interesting."
"There has to be something valuable," I said. "Who knows, maybe we can get some more ammo to deal with the Scars. Some more gunpowder. Anything."
The gears were turning in Abby's head as her tongue poked at her cheek, creating a bump. She slowly nodded her head as she paced back and forth.
"Where at?" she asked.
"The Aquarium."
"You've got to be shitting me," she sighed.
"Are we going or what?"
Her eyes closed for a moment before she nodded her head, "Fine. But if we see so much as one infected, we're coming straight back. Understand?"
"Yes. You know me, I've always been careful."
We grabbed our gear, headed down to where they kept the guns, and Abby had to sweet talk her way into getting a couple that weren't logged for Issac's records. When questioned on what we were doing, I jumped in to say that tonight was date night and Abby thought about leaving the stadium for once. The guy handed us our guns and we were off.
"Date night?" Abby asked as she turned to face me.
"Everyone knows we're together," I said.
She just nodded, "Sometimes I wish they didn't."
"Why?" I asked and grabbed at her forearm.
"Because what if someone targets you and or I for a reason? They target me so that they can get you and use the both of us to get something they want. Because everyone knows that Issac can play favorites. And I'm one of them. They know you're good with the agriculture. What if they threaten me to get a certain fruit or vegetable before anyone else gets it. What if--"
She turned to face me and that was when I grabbed her by the collar of her tank top. I pulled her down to my height and placed my lips against hers. She tried to pull away, but I pulled her right back. She finally melted in and wrapped her arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around her neck and dug my fingers into the back of her braid. She turned her head slightly to deepen the kiss.
"Jump," she mumbled in between our kisses.
I did as she said and my legs wrapped around her waist, bringing us closer together. And it allowed me to be at the same height as her. She pulled away to breathe and I pressed my forehead against hers.
"Why do you always do that?"
"Do what?"
"Kiss me to shut me up?"
"Because it works all the time."
She chuckled and pecked my lips, "It does work all the time, doesn't it?"
"Abs," I let out. "If anyone dares threaten either of us and you catch wind of it, you'll pound them into the ground before they can even do anything."
"I know, but--"
"Hey," I cupped her face gently in my hands. "We're going to be ok. Everyone knows that Owen is the father of Mel's baby. They know about their somewhat toxic relationship. Then they see us. They're just jealous that I got Abby motherfucking Anderson."
She giggled as I said her name like that. Her smile always made my heart leap. I kissed her once more before I jumped down from her.
"What if I wanted to carry you?" she asked.
"Oh, you're offering to carry me?" I chuckled.
"Well now that you jumped off me like that, I'm not going to," she playfully crossed her arms and turned her back to me.
"Abs, come on," I poked at her side.
"I'm not going to fall for that."
"Come on, Abby," I poked a bit more, this time, threatening to tickle her.
"Y/N!" she yelled as a warning.
I started to tickle at her sides and her laughter filled the night air. She tried to get away from me, but I kept going after her. She finally grabbed my arms and held my wrists in her one hand. Her breathing was deep as she was trying to catch it.
"Don't do that," she chuckled, trying to be serious.
"What are you going to do about it?" I smirked.
Her eyes narrowed slightly, "I will turn this whole thing around and take you back to the apartment where you won't be walking tomorrow morning."
"I wouldn't mind that," I smiled.
"But first, we need to do this," she let go of my wrists.
"Will you carry me?"
"What do you say?"
"Please?"
She opened her arms and a wide smile appeared as I jumped into her arms.
"I love you, Abby."
"I love you, too," she said.
When we reached the aquarium, she set me down and we waited behind a nearby building. There were people outside the aquarium with guns.
"What time was the cargo coming?" Abby asked.
"I think not until ten," I said.
"It's thirty 'til," she eyed her watch.
"What do you want to do until then?" I asked.
"Get out of the rain at least," Abby said and entered the building we were next to.
I followed after her and we dried off.
"What's your biggest fear?"
"You should know that one."
"Aside from heights."
"Well, for the longest time it was losing my dad. Y-You saw how that turned out."
"Yeah," I sadly nodded my head.
"Aside from that, I didn't have any fears. Not the Scars, not the infected, nothing. But then you came into my life," she sat down beside me. "And that started a new fear."
"A fear of losing me?"
She nodded.
"Even before we met and started dating, I always feared we'd lose you. Now, that 'we' turned into 'I'. I was afraid of losing you, too."
"I'm not going anywhere," she smiled and rested her hand on my leg. "We're going to have a life together. We're going to grow old and live somewhere outside the stadium. Maybe on a ranch in the middle of nowhere, just the two of us."
I smiled, "I'd like that."
She smiled, but it soon faded as she heard something I didn't. She grabbed her gun and stood up.
"Abby?"
"Shh," she said.
I stood up and grabbed my gun. I tried to listen for what she was hearing. Then, there it was. That all too familiar clicking. Abby quietly walked towards where it was coming from. I followed after her, but there was a reason why I don't do infected runs. I stepped on some glass and Abby quickly turned around. The clicking turned into a shriek as it turned to where we were. If it still had its eyes, they'd be staring us down not too long before lunging at us, flailing its arms.
"RUN!" Abby yelled and we bolted.
The clicker shrieked once more and chased after us. I was lagging behind a bit and Abby was about fifteen feet ahead of me.
"Abby!" I yelled as I turned over my shoulder.
Big mistake. I cocked my gun and turned my entire body.
"Don't shoot! Keep running!" Abby yelled as she turned to get me.
I shot, but it did nothing. I shot it once more. Nothing. Shit, this thing doesn't go down easy. I was prepping another shot as the clicker lunged and landed on top of me.
"Fuck!" I yelled as I reached for my knife, but it was too late.
I could already feel the teeth sink deep within my forearm. It was over for me. Abby came over and shot the thing multiple times in the head. The body went still and I shoved it off of me.
"Are you hurt?" she knelt down.
"N-No," I said. I was thankful that it was night.
"Come on, we need to head back."
I walked in silence as we headed back to the stadium, periodically checking on my arm whenever Abby wasn't looking. This was going to crush her. I could already feel things starting to change within me. My fingers twitched as I held the gun tightly. My movement wasn't as smooth as before and this newfound rage was starting to bubble up. But with each moment as we grew closer and closer to the stadium, it turned into fear.
"A-Abby," my voice shook.
"Yeah?" she turned.
The stadium was just over the hill.
"I-I can't go back with you."
"W-What do you--"
Her eyes slowly grew wider as she knew what I meant.
"No, no, no, no, no," she grabbed my arm and pulled out her light.
There she could see the teeth marks and the bulging veins.
"No, no, no!" her eyes found mine.
I wanted to die right there. The fear and pain in her eyes. The tears that were about to spill. How her lip trembled as she knew what she had to do. She shook her head.
"I-I can't."
"Please, Abby," I pleaded.
"I am not doing that. I'd rather shoot myself than do it."
"A-Abby, please. If not now, you might have to do it later down the road."
She shook her head once more, "I-I'd tell you to fight it, but I know that's pointless."
"Abby," I reached down and grabbed her hand. She didn't pull back or recoil with disgust. "I will always love you."
"I love you, Y/N," she whispered.
"And with this love, I will let you go."
"Y/N," she said.
"Live for me, Abs," I smiled.
"Y/N," her tone grew serious as I grabbed my pistol that was in my bag. "D-Don't do this, Y/N."
"I won't let you make this decision," I said and loaded the gun.
"Y/N, no!"
From that moment forward, time felt like it was slowing down. The gun felt heavy in my hands as I raised it up and pressed it to my head. A flash of lightning appeared behind Abby, illuminating her face. Her eyes were already dull and void of life, but there was so much pain she tried to suppress. Her hand reached out as she stepped towards me, trying to remove the gun from my hand. I just smiled at her and mouthed the words 'I love you' to her for the very last time. I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger. The sound rang throughout the stormy night as I fell to the ground.
Briefly, just briefly, I opened my eyes and found the blue sky of a summer day above me. The sun was warm on my skin and I could hear the bees buzzing. A golden sea of wheat surrounded me as I was laying down on my back. I reached up to grab at the sky and that was when a figure walked above me. I could never forget that dirty blonde hair that was always in a long braid, the freckles that danced underneath her eyes like constellations in the sky. Her smile that always warmed my heart. And in that moment, of what could have been, soothed me as my body hit the ground.

Save A Monster, Ride A Hunter
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Olivia x Fem! Reader CW: It's in the name, expect filth. WC: 2.8k+ A/N: I usually don't post smut here, but there's not a lot written for Olivia already. I might as well add to it wherever I can. Enjoy!
"Comin' your way, Y/N!" Olivia called to me.
"On it," I said and got my lasso ready.
The Palicos were guiding them into herds, since they were not as big as the monsters, but they were sizable to where we needed to ensure they were safe and away from the monsters. It was the circle of life, I get it, but some of the other creatures we needed as a food source. I lassoed the one that was leading the pack and started to turn back towards the pen.
"Atta girl!" Olivia smiled, ridding more towards the middle and back of the herd. Athos and my Palico were corralling them in, making sure not one of them got out of the line up.
"We're almost at base camp," I said as the camp started to come into view.
"Alma needs to hurry up with the gates," Olivia mentioned.
"ALMA!" I yelled.
Her head picked up and she saw us coming in. She opened the gates and I removed the lasso. Right in the creatures went and she closed the gate after the last one.
"Whew!" Alma smiled at us.
"Nice work, Y/N," Olivia said and high fived me.
"Thanks," I said.
"Work's not done just yet," Alma said. "The hunter is out with a Rathian."
"On it," Olivia said, taking off her hat. I removed mine as well and we tossed them towards the pen, which they perfectly landed on the posts by the gates.
"Been practicing I see?" Alma chuckled.
"One of us has," Olivia grabbed her hammer that was resting against the fences.
"I am a fast learner," I said and grabbed my weapons.
"You're not wrong," Olivia got back onto the Seikret and shifted awkwardly.
I didn't think anything of it aside from the saddle being uncomfortable. Which they can be if we've been riding on the birds for a long amount of time. Which can be pretty often if we need to travel from one place to another.
"Let's go, Y/N," Olivia said. "This Rathian isn't going to hunt itself."
We headed out towards the site and found the hunter was hacking and slashing at its feet. The tail was removed, making the damage from the rear minimal.
"Heads up!" Olivia cried as she jumped from the Seikret.
She landed on the Rathian's head and started to do major amounts of damage. I remember when her and I would go out at night and ride monsters. She'd have her hat on, of course, and flail it around in the wind. Like she was some cowboy. But seeing her ride a Rathian like that, with a wild smile and wielding a hammer like that was her--
"Y/N!" the hunter called out to me.
The Rathian was flying towards me. My Seikret jumped out of the way just as Olivia grabbed its horns and veered it to the right of me. I jumped off and hit the nub of the tail with my weapon.
"Where is your head, Y/N?" the hunter asked.
"N-Nowhere," I said.
"South," they said and focused on the hunt.
After the hunt was finished and we gathered the necessary materials from the Rathian, the hunter called his bird and headed back towards camp. I watched carefully as Olivia got onto her Seikret, shifting once more awkwardly. She didn't. There was no way she had that. If she did, she must to have had it on since we left. I wouldn't know since I was called by Alma, who had left the field to tell me. Olivia was out before me and I joined her to wrangle up the creatures who ran from the pen. Does she go everyday with that on? I couldn't imagine it was comfortable.
"You coming, Y/N?" Olivia asked.
"Y-Yeah."
I climbed onto my bird and we headed back towards base camp, but we took a detour. She motioned me to follow her and we came to one of the popup camps we had come across. It was underneath the oasis in the plains, so not only was it away from the monsters, but it was nice and cool down there. Secluded, too. But there was one bad thing about it: there was a bit of an echo.
"What are we doing here, Olivia?" I asked as I made my way down to the popup camp.
"I needed to grab something from here before we head back," she said and jumped off her bird, moving around a bit.
"Is something wrong, Olivia?" I asked.
"What makes you ask?"
"Well, I noticed that when you get onto your Seikret, you shift around a bit. More than usual. Like there is something...down..."
She pulled back the flap of the tent and she turned over her shoulder. There was a smirk on her face and a wild look in her eyes. Like she was waiting for me to finally notice. I don't take Olivia to be one with a high drive, but something had to be going on.
"Why don't we come take a break from all this hunting?" she tilted her head towards the tent.
"And what?"
"Well, I already rode one monster. Do you want to be the second?"
"Oh my gosh, Olivia, I swear," I chuckled.
I remember the first time we had sex. Since she's a monster hunter, she called her strap on a monster cock. It was a normal strap on, nothing fancy about it, but the way she said it while we in the middle of doing the deed was so unexpected. Both of us had to stop what we were doing since we were laughing so hard. And now it has been a thing between us.
I got off my Seikret and headed into the tent. No reason she kept this place a secret to the others and kind of to me. Now that I know it's here, I wouldn't put it past her to call it our little oasis. The tent was surprisingly spacious. It didn't have a hammock, but rather it had fur pelts, blankets, some sleeping bags to give it some padding, and some pillows. Because who would want to have sex on a hammock?
Olivia's armor was already off, just leaving her in her tank top and pants she wore underneath her armor. Since they were a bit fitting to her form, I can already see the straps that were fastened around her thighs and the bulge protruding from the mid section of her crotch. I couldn't help but stare at it as I closed the tent flap.
I sat down beside her, but she immediately pinned me to the ground. Her lips were quick and light, leaving little traces of her behind as she went from my lips, jaw, neck and to my collarbone. Her hands went right to my waist, but she immediately pulled back.
"Is something wrong, Olivia?"
"How do you want things to go tonight?" she asked. "Do you want it fast and rough or slow and sensual?"
"I'll let you decide," I said.
"Really? You're going to put it on me."
"Yes. You're the one wearing the strap," I patted her thigh. "You get to make the decisions."
"Is this a rule now?"
"No. Only for tonight."
She smiled and pressed more kisses to my neck. I laid back down and closed my eyes, trying to memorize how her lips felt against my neck. How soft and warm they were, leaving behind her love for me. Those kisses turned into sucking and biting, forming a mark on the center of my neck on both sides.
"Is it ok if I remove your clothes?"
"As long as I can remove yours."
"Ok," she said.
I reached behind her and grabbed at the knots that were holding her tank top together. How it didn't fall off during battle, I had no idea. Once the knot was loose, the straps started to slack and lose its form, causing the top of her tank top to fall over her broad shoulders and down her upper half. Since I wasn't wearing much armor, it was easy for Olivia to remove that layer as well as the layer of clothing. Now the both of us were in our bras. I grabbed the buckle of her belt and yanked her towards me.
"Eager, are we?" she asked.
"Is that not what the belt is for? To pull your lover close?"
"I mean, not exactly, but it has its uses."
I smiled and pressed my lips to Olivia's as I fumbled with her belt buckle. She reached down and guided my hands, removing the belt from around her waist as it joined the other articles of clothing. She pulled away from the heated kiss to remove her pants along with mine. Afterwards, the undergarment clothing was removed so that there was nothing in the way of skin on skin contact.
She went back to kissing my neck before she made her way down to my chest, stomach, and then to my core. Her calloused, yet soft hands grabbed underneath my knees and spread my legs apart.
"Is this ok?" she asked.
"Yes, Liv," I whispered.
"Ok."
She bent her head down and kissed my entrance before giving it a long lick from the bottom up. My head bent backwards as I squeezed my eyes shut. Damn her. She always knows how to get me going. She placed a few soft kisses there before inserting her tongue.
"Fuck," I breathed out.
Her lips attached to me down there, a lewd sucking sound coming from there. Her fingers were like magic, but nothing could beat the pure wizardry of her tongue. I swear sometimes I question if she is human or not. She's a monster hunter for crying out loud. I saw her take on an Uth Duna with nothing but her hammer and she did it without so much as breaking a sweat. Doing this, felt like second nature to her. A warmup. But I know it was far from it. I was her first lover. Her first ever girlfriend where she knew she wanted this. It took us a while to get here, but as soon as she knew, she didn't fuck around.
The sensation of her fingers sliding inside pulled me from my thoughts. I eyed down there and she was having the time of her life. Her tongue going in and out along with her fingers, her mouth sucking my sensitive bud. I know this was just to get me ready to take the strap she had on. It wasn't one of her bigger ones, but more medium sized ones. So there was a chance I could be walking tomorrow. Just the ride back might be uncomfortable.
"You ok?" she asked to take a breather.
"Yeah. You?"
"I'm ok. You know I can do this all day."
"I-I know."
"You can always tell me when to stop, alright. Don't feel like you have to keep going."
"I-I know, Liv."
"Ok."
She went back to business and I threw my head back once more, grabbing her hair. I yanked it slightly which earned a groan, sending vibrations to where I needed it to go.
"Fuck, right there, Liv," I breathed out.
Her fingers got faster and her tongue got more desperate, but she slowed down with her tongue. She didn't want to overwork the muscle. A knot started to form in my stomach, but it soon would disappear as Olivia withdrew herself from down there. I let out a sigh, but was soon lifted up and onto her lap. My eyes trailed down to her broad shoulders, noticeable collarbone that I could just suck and kiss every day. The same went with her abs. If she didn't have her strap I'd be asking to ride those ridges.
"You ready?"
"Y-Yeah."
"Ok. I'll go slow."
She lifted me up and aligned the tip of the strap to where I was. Slowly inserting it, I squeezed my eyes shut and gritted my teeth. My hands dug into her shoulders as the tip penetrated and slid in. It wasn't easy, but it was better than with no foreplay.
"You ok?" she stopped.
"Y-Yeah. K-Keep going."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. Fuck, Olivia," I grabbed her face and pulled her towards me.
"Let me fucking ride this monster of a cock you have," I hissed.
A smirk appeared on her lips as she laid down onto the fur pelts and blankets. She slid the strap the rest of the way in, but didn't slam it like how she would do it when I wanted her to be rough. I sat there for a moment, shifting my hips around until I was comfortable enough. I nodded to her and she slowly started to lift me up and down.
"Fuck, Liv," I breathed out.
She sat up to where our lips met one another's. Her arms wrapped around my waist while mine went around her neck, my hands grabbing at her back and digging into the back of her hair. I became a moaning mess as she got a bit faster with her thrusts and deeper with her kisses. I pulled away to breathe, but her teeth grazed my bottom lip and bit down on it, tugging it slightly.
"L-Liv," I breathed out.
"That's it," she whispered as she tucked her face into the crook of my neck, pressing kisses here and there.
She created more hickeys than she already had when we had started. If the entire team didn't know we were together by now, they certainly will. It was pretty evident since whenever I would send an SOS flare, she'd be the first to respond. If I needed help with an assignment, she would give me her aid. Anything I needed, she would be the first one I'd go to. And she would do the same for me. If she needed help with anything, she'd come to me first. If she needed advice, she'd ask for mine. We were always by one another as much as we could be. So for those who didn't think there was something going on in between us, they were painfully oblivious.
"You thinking again?" Olivia asked as her thrusts started to pick up a bit more.
"L-Liv," I moaned out.
"Don't worry, I'll fuck those thoughts right out of you."
She grabbed at my hips and started to go faster. I became a moaning mess as a knot formed in my stomach not long after. I wrapped my arms around her and dug into the skin on her back. I even tucked my face into her shoulder.
"L-Liv," I breathed out. "I-I can't hold on."
"Don't hold back, love," she said and kissed the side of my head. "You did good."
I threw my head back and moaned as I released. She stopped and allowed me to finish before she slowly pushed and pulled before fully removing the strap. I fell onto the blankets beneath me and Olivia hovered above me.
"You're gorgeous," she whispered to me.
"S-So are you," I smiled, reaching up to place my hand against her cheek.
She reached up and grabbed my hand, kissing at my palm.
"Think you can do one more?"
I nodded.
"Alright. When you're ready, all fours."
I nodded again and laid there for a bit. I caught my breath and as I was doing that, Olivia placed kisses up and down my skin starting from my collarbone and trailing to my stomach. Once I shifted, she pulled away and I did as she asked earlier. I got on all fours and Olivia settled behind me. She slowly inserted the strap and it went in a bit easier this time. Her thrusts were slow to begin with. Her soft, yet calloused hands grabbed at my hips once more when her thrusts got faster. I bent down to where my face was pressed into the blankets and furs. Olivia wrapped her arm around my waist while the other hand was placed on the ground. It didn't take long for me to release again and when I did, Olivia kissed up and down my back before she pulled out. She laid down and I turned to face her.
"You ok?" she asked.
"Y-Yeah. Yeah I'm ok."
"Alright," she said and pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Let me know if I can get you anything."
I nodded, "C-Can we just cuddle?"
"Of course. Here, let me get this off."
"I got it."
I reached down and undid the buckles before removing the strap. I set it at our feet and as I was about to lay back down, the pads of my fingers trailed up from her thigh, along the curve of her waist, her strong and scarred bicep, and then to her face where I rested my hand on her cheek. My thumb caressed her skin as we both found one another's eyes.
"Enjoy the ride?" she chuckled.
I smiled and pressed my forehead against hers.
"I did. I can say I finally rode a monster."
She giggled, "Just tell them that it was a Quematrice."
"Not a Rey Dau?"
"Y/N, come on. A Quematrice is more fitting for you."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It's small, rowdy, and on fire."
"Oh is that how you're going to describe that strap. Because it was anything but small."
"Compared to the others, yes, it is smaller."
"That is true."
"See where I'm getting at?" Olivia smiled.
"I guess you have a point."
We both smiled once more before Olivia pulled me into her, draping a light blanket over us.
"Thank you, Olivia. For this time together."
"Of course, my love," she said.
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
The two of us fell asleep in one another's arms.

Abby Anderson x Fem! Reader
CW: N/A
WC: 1.3k+
A/N: All roads lead back home. To me, the one who started my love for strong women was Abby.
"We've got a distress signal coming in from Santa Barbara," a colleague said to me.
"Don't tell me, it's the same people who were playing a prank on us a few weeks ago."
"No. You might actually remember her."
"Her?" I asked.
"Yeah. Check this out."
I walked over to his desk and sat down at the radio.
"Hello, this is Abby from Santa Barbara. If anyone can hear me, please answer. Hello? Please answer."
"Abby," I whispered.
"How long have you two been separated from one another?"
"Ever since she distanced herself from me. Ever since we joined the WLF and she left for Jackson in search of the man that killed her father."
He nodded his head and pushed the microphone to me.
"Want to do the honors?"
"D-Do you think she'll remember me?"
"Only one way to find out."
With a shaking hand, I pressed down on the button.
"Abby?" my voice was soft and cautious.
"Y/N?" she asked.
She did remember me. So our five year relationship wasn't a waste of my time.
"What in the hell happened to you?"
"A-A lot has happened since you left. Since I broke things off with you."
"I can tell. The WLF is in shambles, Scars are running amok even though they're few in numbers. While there aren't news like before the outbreak, there is still a lot floating around."
"There's so much I need to tell you," she said.
"And I can't wait to hear it in person," I said, tears in my eyes.
"I can't wait to hold you again. After so long of not being able to see you, to hold your hand."
"W-What we had, Abby," I said.
"I know I threw it all away for some stupid revenge. But please, the minute I see you, I-I want," she let out a sigh.
"Catalina Island. Look for the building with a dome. I'll personally come get you."
"Thank you, Y/N."
"We'll see you soon," I said.
"Sounds like you two have history."
"We do," I said. "Her and I were part of the Salt Lake branch of Fireflies. I was head over heels for her and I thought she liked Owen at that time. They tried to date, but it fell short. We started to hang out a lot more and then we eventually started to date. For five years, I followed her. I would follow her to the ends of the earth if I had to. But I couldn't follow her to Jackson.
"When she told me her and a group of others were going after Joel, I told her I refused to go. She tried to get me to go, but I refused to. The weeks leading up to going to Jackson, she became distant and cold towards me. And the day she left, she didn't say anything to me. When she came back, I was gone."
"That's when you found us."
I nodded, "Yeah. I was tired of being part of the WLF. So I decided to head back to you guys and try to start anew."
"What are you going to do when she comes back?"
I shrugged, "I still love her."
"From the sounds of it, she still loves you."
"I don't know if I want to start again with her."
"Give her a chance, Y/N. You never know. You two could be together once more, in that way."
I sat by the water every single day ever since we got that signal from her. The ocean waves were calming as the salt water stung my eyes and the wind pushed my hair back. I'd sit from dusk til dawn waiting for her. There would be times where I would bring a tent with me and I'd camp out there for a few days. After a week had gone by and she still wasn't there, I had started to give up hope, started to believe she was dead from someone out there or by the infected. Whoever got to her first. One morning, after almost two weeks of waiting, I stood up. But the sound of a cutting engine caught my attention. I lifted my gun up as the boat came into view from the morning fog.
"Who's there?" I yelled.
The person got off the boat and slowly lifted someone else up. They made their way onto the beach and stumbled slightly. The person was thin and had very short hair. Their skin was red and peeling. And the clothes they were wearing looked like it didn't fit on them.
"Who are you?" I yelled once more, moving my thumb to the safety of the gun.
"D-Don't shoot."
I recognize that voice. A voice that used to be commanding, to where everyone would know that they were in charge. That they meant business. It used to scare me when they got angry, but now, it sounded frail. As if they were on they were struggling for a long time. By the condition they were in, they were definitely struggling.
"A-Abby?" I whispered.
"Y/N," she walked over to me.
"W-What happened?"'
"A lot. I need to get Lev medical attention."
Just by looking at the poor kid in Abby's arms, he was suffering from severe dehydration and sun poisoning.
"Let's go. We have a medical team that can help him."
I led her to the main base of the Fireflies. Once we were inside, a group welcomed her and some rushed to get the medical staff. I led her to the medical ward and that was where they took Lev from Abby.
"P-Please be careful with him," she said.
"He's in good hands," I said. "Come, walk with me. It won't be far, I promise."
I led her into a large cafeteria where I gave her some water and some food. She looked super malnourished. Not the once hulking woman I knew her to be. Instead of her snapping my bones into two, it looks like I could snap her bones.
"Tell me everything that happened, Abby."
"We got him. We killed Joel and it just came back to hurt us in the end."
"I warned you about this, Abby."
"I should have listened to you."
"But go on."
"They're all dead. Every single one of them. Manny, Nora, Owen, Mel. All dead because we pissed off the wrong person. It was supposed to be done in secrecy, but they found us. Afterwards, when we came back to Seattle, I couldn't find you."
"I left."
"Why?"
"I didn't feel at home with the WLF after you left. I realized how much you impacted who I was there. I was your other half, Abby's girlfriend, Abby's shadow, that stuff. So I left and decided to go back to a place where I knew I could stand out and break away, to be myself. And not someone who only knows me because of someone else."
She nodded her head, "I don't blame you."
"What happened to you?"
"We had to deal with this group of people called the Seraphites."
"Is Lev one of them?"
"Yes, but he denounces them. I helped him and his sister, but unfortunately, his sister didn't make it. So it was just Lev and I for a while. After we got into contact with you, a group called the Rattlers got us. That explains the condition Lev and I are in."
"How did you escape them?"
"The same person who hated my guts for killing Joel is the reason I am here. Although, she did almost kill me."
"I hope she doesn't come after you again."
"I don't think she will. I think she headed back to wherever she came from."
"I'm sorry all of this happened to you, Abby."
"I'm sorry I left," she said after a long pause of silence.
"I can understand why, I can't fault you for it, but I can't forgive what you did to our relationship."
"Please, Y/N," she reached over and grabbed my hand. "Please let me make up for everything I have done. I-I still have feelings for you and I don't think those will ever go away."
"If I must admit," I reached over and placed my other hand on top of hers gently. "The feelings I had for you never left either. You were my first love. And I hope we can work this out together."
"Even after everything I did, would you fall in love with me again?"
"That, we shall discover. Together."

This may or may not be a hot take, but whatever.
Tumblr media
Kaitlyn Dever you will, to me, always be my Abby. Was I upset at first that we didn't get someone with more muscle, yes. After Episode 1, I was feeling confident in her. After Episode 2, she solidified Abby for me. She brought the emotional aspect that wasn't really shown in the game during that scene.
Now, I loved Abby from the get-go when I played Part 2. And it sucked that everyone hated her. What sucks even more is knowing that people threatened her voice actress, the wonderful and talented Laura Bailey. As a fan base, if we can learn anything and teach the TV watchers only, is that we need to fucking leave Kaitlyn Dever alone. She is just doing her fucking job she was casted for. She is not Abby. Abby is a fictional character. Kaitlyn Dever is a real person who can and will face that backlash that Abby cannot receive because she is fictional. Hate the character, not the person behind the character.
The same goes with Bella Ramsey. Are we still using the same argument that Bella doesn't look like Ellie? Think of something else. Oh right, you really can't. Sure they may take on different aspects of Ellie, but Bella is Ellie. Always was from Season 1 and will be until they finish the TV series.
Both actresses do such an amazing job bringing something different to the table about these characters.
And also one more thing: for people who think Kaitlyn should have at least bulked up for this season, just put this into perspective: her mother died before she started filming. If I was a director and heard this happened right before filming, I wouldn't even think about the physical appearance of a character. Just how can this actor/actress portray this character. And Kaitlyn has nailed it. For me personally.

JQ Period Headcanons
@pinkusmaximus asked if I could write some JQ period headcanons. So here ya go! Some NSFW mixed in because I am too lazy to separate them. Enjoy!
--she will immediately know when you start, even a week before you start
--your hormones are all over the place, you sometimes want to get down and dirty with her, even though you sometimes rarely initiate it
--since she just knows, she checks to make sure you have what you need
--and if you're either running low or out, she will go out and get some for you
--she's also your personal heated blanket, but sometimes it can be too much since Junkertown is scorching
--she will also personally move you if you are incapable of moving
--if your cramps are too much, she will pick you up like the princess you are and take you to where you need to be
--will take long showers with you if you want her in there, but you feel too embarrassed because of the flow you're having
--she'd just laugh it off and say she has seen and experienced worse
--because SHE HAS, not just through fighting, but through her own cycles
--while she doesn't have too many painful cramps, she does have a heavier flow
--so while your cycle can last about 4-6 days, hers lasts the full week
--and she will go through at least three to four products a day because of how heavy it is
--she even gets woken up in the middle of the night because of the flow
--so when you're off yours and she's on hers, you're there for her as she is for you
--even though you can't physically lift her, you can relieve some pain
--such as when she is experiencing cramps, you will massage her stomach and back
--you'll make her some tea and sit in bed with her, because she's not moving unless she has to
--also expect some angry people looking for the Queen, but you tell them off in the most vulgar way possible
--in which Odessa will hear all of it and laugh
--when you're on your cycle, your drive goes up a bit
--it's not like Odessa's, because no one can match this woman's drive
--and it gets worse when she's on her cycle
--expect her to give you those eyes at least three times a day, minimum
--this woman will do it anywhere at any time
--making dinner? damn, you never looked better to her
--sitting doing nothing? she's on the ground trying to get in between your legs
--of course this all comes with consent, she is the Queen after all, but most importantly, your girlfriend
--but the minute you let her, she's not stopping until you pull out the safe word
--if she's on her cycle, she won't use the strap, no matter how much she wants to
--so it's the good ol' mouth and finger combo
--which still does work well, considering her fingers are long and thick
--so it makes up for not using the strap
--now if you're on your period and you want some action, this is the one and only time she will be on the receiving end
--for both strap and oral
--and if you're feeling a little adventurous, she'll even allow you to do some bondage
--not a lot, but some
--now if it so happens that both of you sync up (which happens a lot often than you think because you two are around one another a lot)
--again, be prepared for nothing to get done because either one or none of you are moving
--you're just in bed for that week
--or just roaming around the house during that time
--but yeah, nothing gets done because you also might be trapped in Odessa's arms
--she is also the kind of person who gets very cuddly on her period
--and you don't mind it because even though she's very cuddly in general, this amps it up a bit
--when either one of you are on your period, the other does anything and everything to relieve some pain or discomfort
--Odessa's emotions don't really change that much during her cycle
--sure she might get a bit more agitated easily, but it's as if nothing is happening to her
--unless something happens to you
--then she's back into Queen mode and will banish someone
--you stop her before she does anything because it was just a harmless comment
--to her, that harmless comment means everything because how dare someone attempt to harass you
--but after she tells that person off, she checks in on you with teary eyes
--she just loves you so much that it can be overwhelming, especially on her period
--but you don't mind it, because it just shows she'll do anything for you
--and you'll do anything for her

Olivia Period Headcanons
Because Mother Nature is cruel and I am currently experiencing the monthly hell that is bleeding enough to make a murder scene look like a bloody nose, I decided to write some more headcanons for Olivia. (And I'm also horny. Thanks, Mother Nature.) So expect some NSFW ones that will be mixed in because I am too lazy to separate them. There is also a mix of modern setting headcanons. Enjoy!
--She knows when you start yours and it's scary
--Like you won't know if you're going to be late, early, whatever
--Olivia has that sense of when you're going to start yours and she gets things ready for you
--If you're out hunting monsters, she wants you to stay off the battlefield
--Those beasts have a heightened sense of smell and can and will smell you before you even leave your tent
--So you don't leave if you're on your period
--However, unfortunately for her, she has to go even when she's on hers
--You try to argue the logic, but when you see Olivia about to break down in front of you, you know the reason
--She's been doing this longer than you have, so she knows what to do to mask the smell a bit
--She doesn't want you to start doing it just because you're a monster hunter
--Sure she is one as well, but it's mostly due to protecting you
--if you two are not hunting monsters, be prepared to not move for a few hours or a few days. There's no in between
--as soon as Olivia lays down on you, you're done
--Hope you didn't have any plans because she's not moving
--She's especially not moving if she is having her cycle
--She experiences the worst cramps, similar to how some women experience cramps before and after their cycle
--That's her, she is unfortunately one of those girlies
--But you'd never know if she is in pain or not because she hides it very well
--Unless you two are alone, then as soon as she enters the tent or the house, she's on the floor in a ball
--She doesn't cry, but curses out Mother Nature for doing this to her
--And it's during this time she will have a higher sex drive
--since she doesn't have a high one to begin with, you have to prepare yourself for when her time comes
--Because she will go after you like how Arkveld went after that Rey Dau, but worse
--how much worse? Let's see, if you're alone and not hunting monsters, your entire body is covered in bite marks and hickeys
--and you might not be walking, but she won't use the strap
--she will just want to eat you out every minute of the day, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and snack
--she doesn't care where you are (in private of course)
--she will eat you out in the shower, on the bed, on the couch, floor, anywhere
--and the minute she starts to finger you, you're done, it's over
--but when you're on your cycle, she will not even think about doing that
--but if you want to do that to her, she will let you, no questions asked
--and depending on how bad your cramps are during your cycle, she will be your personal heating pad
--but she will also be the one to get you whatever you want
--you need another blanket? she has a few for you already
--need a drink or snack? this woman is jumping over anything and everything to get it for you
--and you do the same for her, but Olivia is very quiet when it comes to her needs
--that's not to say you're more needy than her, she checks in on you constantly
--how she sees her cycle is that it's her burden to bear and hers alone
--so she doesn't really start asking you to bring her things and do things until you're really serious with one another
--or until you nag her for three cycles on end and then she'll cave
--at first she doesn't understand why you want to help her, but after saying she has helped you, you want to do the same
--and that since Olivia doesn't really ask for a lot, this is her time to be needy
--she also is more in tune with her rampant emotions
--like hardly does this woman ever show that her emotions are always fluctuating
--like if the two of you are watching a romantic and heartfelt movie, you'd be on the verge of tears, whereas she looks like she's about to disassociate for a few minutes
--however, if something involves you, say you got hurt on a hunt or someone said something hurtful
--she will go after that monster and make sure its entire lineage is gone
--that monster better run for the hills because Olivia can and will take out an entire species just for you
--now if it were someone who said something, she would just give the person death glares for all eternity
--but she will tend to you with tears in her eyes, trying to silence the sniffles as she comforts you
--she experiences more frustration and a bit of anger when it comes to her cycle
--which makes her a deadly force on the battlefield
--you envy her ability to be more in tune with her emotions
--but on the flipside, she envies you
--not even on your period, she just always seems a bit cold at first
--and struggles a lot to come off as warm and kind (she is the biggest sweetheart we all know)
--but she struggles with it, where it seems to come naturally to you, you're able to connect to people on an emotional level
--now heaven forbid you two sync up on your cycles
--nothing will get done because neither of you will want to move
--the team will just find both of you in either yours or Olivia's tent all cuddled up together
--or in a modern setting, the two of you would just sleep all day
--with the occasional getting up to go to the bathroom and eat
--but aside from that, neither of you are moving
--because you're just that comfortable being next to one another
--and you just don't have the energy to
--since it's a rare occasion when that happens, Olivia is prepared for it
--she has a snack drawer in the bedroom filled with bottles of water, different types of chocolate and chips
--she also has another drawer where it's filled with the type of products you both use
--and since neither of you are moving, you two can catch up on shows and or movies
Well, that's all I could think of. Hope you all enjoyed!
