i rlly love the choice to give VM varga bulimia in fargo s3. like i think its a good metaphor for his greed .. lol. that episode where u have billy bob thornton recite that poem and each of the characters gets a role from the poem assigned to them (or maybe its a fairy tale? idk). but VM varga is the wolf ... and u see him wolf down a Huge pile of food and then vom' it all up afterwards lol. its such a good parallel i think to what he does in his role as a loan shark. the binging and purging isnt done to gain sustenance from the food, he just wants the food for the sake of the food. just like he wants money for the sake of it, power for the sake of it, i dont think u ever rlly get any info on what he is planning to do w all of his money. he's not trying to live a rich person's life, he just wants to HAVE it. and just like he purges his food. he devours emmit's company (and assumably many others before), bleeds it dry to get profit and then he discards of it. not giving a fuck abt whether he hurts anyone in the process lol, he's just GREEDY and wants to take and take and take. just like a greedy wolf in a fairy tale. think the choice to make a parallel here w his food behavior, where its Also abt just getting as much food in as possible without rlly planning to do anything w it but purging it afterwards ... its a great choice i think to give him that lol
