i liked it, but the sauce was a bit heavy

Are you scared of your dad? does he make you feel uncomfortable?

I respect him a lot, and I know he has our family's best interest at heart.

That said, he scares me sometimes when he gets mad, but he's getting nicer to me.

I'm not sure about uncomfortable, but he compares me to mother a lot, so it is a bit odd. Mostly, though, I'm proud of being treated more maturely.
