Hmm interesting to see first look of him in costume! I wish we had context of the pic- what day/location he was filming, who he was with , etc. Twt found on the 16th Josh Hartnett in fishing gear filming a scene at the docks with Ruby Stokes (24) and Rohan Campbell (27). There was a group hug in the scene plus their ages which makes it look like they are playing his kids. If so, Charlie is either the oldest son who just wasn’t in that scene, or he is an unrelated character, as it’s not likely he’d be playing his brother when he’s barely older than the guy playing the son. He could be playing Mackenzie Davis’ brother. They look pretty similar too, and since they are the three mains it would make sense for some of them to be related. Either way I hope we get more details soon. Idk why the actors announced last week were given character names but no one else was.

Ik I’m so confused! I still think he looks more like Josh so am not ruling out younger brother, but it’s true the son looks older than expected. I hope we get more details soon!

This is a fake out guys, don't worry.

These two scenes are not related. Nancy is wearing different outfits and her hair is dry and tidy presumably after the fact. This is not happening in quick succession to one another. If she's washing his blood off of her hands how did she get into a new, nice and dry shirt before doing so. She's also in the Upside Down in one and then in the Rightside Up in the second. There's a considerable amount of time dividing these moments. My guess is a more minor character might've died or that it's not related to anybody dying at all. Them editors know what they're doing.

New/Old from the Variety Pre-Emmys Event 2018

There are two Vimeo auditions for UNP, in one of which a character named Connor confronts another character in front of his father and calls the son a deadbeat. Ofc this could be any character, but I’ve been wondering for a while whether Charlie will play Josh Hartnett’s character’s son. Since Josh is the main character it would make sense that his family could be the other mains, and so far he, Charlie, and Mackenzie are the only ones announced. It’s already started filming according to X so it seems like any other big star mains probably would’ve been negotiated and announced by now.

Josh is only like 15 years older but Charlie always plays a few years younger. But Mackenzie is 7 years older than Charlie and 8 years younger than Josh. They all look similar enough that they could be related, but idk if mom + dad + son or dad + daughter + son could work. Of course Charlie could easily just be Josh’s coworker while Mackenzie is Josh’s love interest. Anyway, it’s fun to theorize — very excited to learn more details about the project!

ooh nice find, anon! hmmm yeah I’m really curious who he’s playing and everyone else is and it’s possible it’s fam from that clip (I just saw the one and couldn’t find the second). But not so sure esp since as you’re saying the ages seem maybe a bit off, so co-worker. Altho you’re right, since the three were announced that way, it makes it seem like they are three mains in some form. I hope they post the character names soon or we get more info. I feel like josh and mackenzie are prob love interests or married and then with Charlie could go either way, but I wonder if he’s no longer playing that much younger than he is. Otoh, they kinda look related, maybe? I sorta see it (similar eyes and hair color):
