i don’t think i care too much bc I blame the duffers mostly for the deterioration of ST. seems kinda random but ig it reunites them with someone they worked with early at netflix.

So I noticed something odd. The RIIFF website no longer lists BF in their schedule tomorrow, and when you search it nothing comes up. It’s like it disappeared. Movie theater websites no longer shows BK either. I wonder if there was some mistake or they had to pull out for some reason. I did think it was kinda weird that none of the team were posting about the films premiere. Oh well, other festivals will be announced soon.

oh hmmm, anon, weird (good find though)! well idk—maybe it will appear at a diff fest then; but strange to have it listed and then removed. and true, good point about the team not posting about riiff or the film acct or anything. they def would have. Ig we’ll have to see what happens next with it and if it premieres at a different fest or what.

Jonathan was never meant to blend in. He's an artist. An outsider. A guy who sees the world through his lens and escapes into music when it gets too loud. His hair had to reflect that.

We started with a classic bowl cut — same roots as Will's — but I broke it up, chopped into it, gave it just enough edge to feel like him. Still '70s inspired, but lived-in. A little uneven. A little anti-mainstream. Just like Jonathan.

Good news–BK is officially having its world premiere next week! It will be showing August 8th at the Rhode Island International Film Festival! So happy this movie will finally see the light of day. But since Charlie will be right in the middle of shooting UNP, not sure if he’ll make it to the premiere (not even sure if RIIFF does red carpets/interviews or anything). But it’s a good sign that activity is starting, and more + bigger film fests will surely follow.
