Harry Kim is the O'Brien of Voyager
Harry must suffer, but also never be recognized for it. Like O'Brien, Harry is technically from a different timeline while the original was lucky enough to die. He's been repeatedly probed. Tortured in prison. Was eaten alive for awhile. Is never taken seriously. Had the one timeline where he was promoted to captain be erased from existence. No one cares about his clarinet. Had a girlfriend no one knew about die, come back to life as an alien, then leave him. Fell in love with a terrorist, nearly destroying the ship. Was genetically lured to a planet of evil women bent on fucking him to death, nearly destroying the ship again. Is a sidekick in his own holodeck stories. Knows he had a whole other life where he got everyone on Voyager killed but he got home. And yes, despite many acts of bravery and outstanding performance, is never promoted, but watches his best friend get commissioned as a bridge officer and promoted to lieutenant twice.

Many years ago when Miku first debuted, I saw her perform and thought this surreal project was surely a product of the end times, that it would be Miku and friends that would burn the world
And now, looking back, she is the most innocent tech based creation in the last 20 years. She's a comparative delight. Utterly benign when seen next to the horrors that have been unleashed since.

It was cocky and overconfident to call the Titanic "unsinkable" but one thing that's overlooked is that she was genuinely really, unusually solid. She could float even with 4 compartments fully flooded, which even a lot of modern day ships can't do.
And it's not like they were wrong about her being solid! Olympic, her identical sister ship, survived being torpedoed and then running over the U-Boat that fired that torpedo. Those ships were solid.
It's very clear that absolutely no other ship in 1912 would have been able to survive that collision, and it's a testament to the quality of the ship that she didn't sink in a few minutes Empress of Ireland style. Part of what makes the Titanic such a tragic story is that it isn't a group of rich idiots locking themselves in a shoddy iron barrel to go 4km underwater. It was 2200 people, most of whom were poor immigrants, on a reliable ship on a commonly-made journey, and then something went horribly, unpredictably wrong.

Why are you using chatgpt to get through college. Why are you spending so much time and money on something just to be functionally illiterate and have zero new skills at the end of it all. Literally shooting yourself in the foot. If you want to waste thirty grand you can always just buy a sportscar.
