11: The Treacherous Nobleman (Basil, a dilophosaurus)
#Not my art#Running into my name out in the wild is very entertaining#Wonderful dino#The texturing is delightful#I feel like I could run my fingers across it with my eyes closed and tell you exactly which part of the piece I was touching

the funny thing about having reocurring settings in dreams is that I get to say sentences like “Goddamnit, I’ve got to stop going to the Labyrinth” and “the Labyrinth was not fun tonight”

Honestly, these results are really fascinating! Thank y'all for participating. I'll probably reblog this with some rambling on the pros and cons of GMOs later (spoiler: most of their issues stem from how they're regulated and specific use cases rather than being GMO at all), but, in the meantime, I figured it would be neat to make sure people got a chance to see the results of the poll ^^
I'm going to give a presentation about GMO food in a class of mine soon and, though I can't really cite any data from this because it's extremely biased, I'm gonna throw this out to test the vibes on how an activity I'm debating using might go
No nuance to this poll, just gut feel. Feel free to reply or reblog with nuance or reasoning, though

*repeatedly chomping onto a researcher that evidently failed to consult any toxicologists, ecologists, or literally anyone even approaching a base level of knowledge about how their own field of study works* Different. Pesticides. Have. Different. Effects. You. Fucking. FOOL.
If I find one more "study" that conflates the overall amount of pesticide used with the toxicity of pesticide without mentioning which pesticides are actually being used and what effects they have on Literally Anything, I am going to start biting people
#“Oh this is bad cause it uses more pesticides”#“This pesticide is better cause you use less”#And what#Pray tell#Does that pesticide do to the environment?#“It's more environmentally friendly because there's less of it!”#IT'S AN ENDOTOXIN YOU ABSOLUTE BUFFOON#Do you think. First ref of the artfight season! Meet Water Cat, a tiny, strangely ocean-like critter who also happens to be the world's worst assassin
I'll post my artfight card (artist sheet? intro page? team thingy?) with a link to my artfight page once I've got all of my refs up. Until then, y'all are gonna have to either wait or scavenge on your own. Have fun!
#artfight#OC#Original Character#Water Cat#This is my son#my gremlin#An absolute critter#He is only 1.5 inches tall and he craves violence

Hey. Hey, guess what.
It's me. That Guy. The one who made the Incorrect Quote Generator on Perchance.
I've finally made it. My fabled "other projects" blog.
This blog exists for my non-IQG projects, such as art, writing, programming/video games, etc so I don't flood the IQG blog with a bunch of stuff they're not interested in (or at least not as often as I did before, anyway)
I'll set up a tag guide at some point... probably
