I can't believe I have to wake up to remind myself that Robespierre was called a tyrant, prideful, whatever, so, while people still defend the real prideful tyrants, such as the monarchy.

They never thought of their people as ; people. That was a big issue. They didn't handle their own issue well and tried to flee from their problems.

I think people should stop just saying, "Marie Antoinette was misunderstood." Misunderstood what? I think we clearly understood, that's why the revolution exists.

I can't keep reminding myself that Robespierre died and that some people still think him selfish or whatever. While the true selfish gets called an aesthetic.

The monarchy fell long ago. It won't come back. Just accept that they weren't good people and weren't misunderstood. There's a difference of "they were people," and "there were good people,", and it's very important.

I miss Robespierre.
