Okay, no. No, no, no. You don’t get to say that you’re disappointed in Darren and that he was unprofessional. Not when fandom has progressed to thinking that they could decide his sexuality and who he should be with. Not when his girlfriend has been a victim of internet harassment for years. Not when actual 15 year olds think it’s okay to call a total stranger Satan to her face because they don’t like her. Not when adults encourage said 15 year olds and set an example by tweeting the most awful things to Mia. Not when people think they are privy to Darren’s relationship.

Please take several seats and fucking stop vilifying him for reacting like a human being who watched his girlfriend go through so much crap for years by people who claim to love him just because he happens to be a celebrity. That call out was a long time coming.

i just got back from a broadway masterclass with darren criss?!? he was so sweet and he said i was a great actress and singer and i like went in to shake his hand and be all professional and he pulled me in for a hug and like for a big group photo i was standing next to him and he remembered that for an earlier photo i was too short and couldn’t be seen and he saw i was standing on my toes and he was like “oh hey are you ok im short too don’t worry, ill stand on my toes with you” like he is so insanely sweet im so honored to have worked with him

To everyone talking nonsense about me:

I always knew not to cross lines. Darren and his team know I was respectful of his privacy. He followed DCN’s twitter more than 2 years ago. In fact, I prevented a few old family-related stuff from going viral in the fandom by letting them know it was out there so they would decide how to handle that. It should speak volumes the fact that the only time his team asked me to remove something from the blog, it was a video performance from youtube due to copyright issues.

Was I a perfect blogger? Of course not. Was it annoying that his every public move was documented? Probably, but he knows and he understands it’s part of being a celebrity and having fans.

So to those people talking… PLEASE TAKE SEVERAL SEATS!
