So I’m not sure when but at some point I just, forgot, that the scene where Diego ties klaus up and he talks about Dave never happened anymore.
Which means...like... no one actually knows about Dave? (Apart from Ben)
Like
Diego knows klaus lost someone. But he doesn’t know it was in 1968 vietnam. Or that his name was Dave. Or maybe even that klaus is queer depending on how you interpret him asking “what was her name?”
Five is the only one who knows Klaus time travelled at all but he doesn’t know about Dave.
Like imagine Season 2
Klaus: “yeah so started a cult and tried to see if I could find my boyfriend”
Everyone: “your boyfriend?”
Klaus: “yeah, Dave? The man I fell in love with during my 10 months fighting in the Vietnam war? The one I lost? The whole reason I got sober?”
