I never write in this thing anymore.. But here we are with some updated photos. My boys are 20 months and 3! Where has the time gone? Kyler says new words all the time and talks gibberish sentences to me all day long. Jace is the absolute hardest working/helping little guy ever! I love them both so much. Hope we can make it through this recent bout of "threenager."

I got this #celestialtea for free for testing purposes from influenster in my #frostyvoxbox. I used to be a bigger tea drinker but after battling with gestational diabetes with two pregnancies I don't hardly drink tea anymore. Mainly because I like mine with an extreme amount of sugar! Haha! Anyway, it just so happens that my voxbox came around the same time that I got an upper respiratory thing.. So with a sore throat and stuffed up nose.. It seemed like a good idea to make a cup of tea! And what better time than to try the celestial seasonings candy cane lane tea? The decaf doesn't bother me any since that's the only kind of tea my husband can have anyway! Decaf tea doesn't taste any differently to me. But I just don't enjoy this particular mint flavor. I'm a big fan of their regular peppermint tea! But I'm not sure if this has a vanilla type of aftertaste.. Or what it is that makes it different. But I don't really like it. I asked my husband, who is having a cup with me, and all he had to say was, "It's good." So he likes it at least! It has soothed my throat though! So thanks to #celestialseasonings and influenster for the free tea!!

Jace pooped on the potty today for the first time!!!!! He asked me! He told me he had to poop (which usually means pee) and then he pooped on the potty! I can't believe how easy and amazing and smart this almost 2 yr old is! So proud of him :)

A new experience

Starting to babysit a newborn, 2 yr old and 7 yr old tomorrow in addition to my own boys. I'm terrified. Pray for me!

4 months old today! I can’t believe he has already hit 1/3 of a year old :( before I know it he’ll be crawling, walking and talking! Boo hoo! He is 19lbs 8.6oz & 26 1/4" !

Yesterday we gave Kyler baby food for the first time. He does not like green beans!

It’s sad that this is most likely our last time having this “first.”

Today was my first experience, that I can remember, of calling 9-1-1. I had just got back home to our Vilonia home with both boys and smelled smoke. It's a safe neighborhood so I left Jace's door open and walked across the street to the house the smoke was near. From my house it first looked like the smoke was coming from the backyard.. But then the crack in the siding of the garage also had smoke pouring out of it! As I approached I heard the fire alarms going off and started dialing 911 and pounding on the door. There was one of the usual cars in the driveway and I found the front door was unlocked so I was hoping and praying none of the 8 members of the family was in there! The Vilonia fire dept showed up quickly and got it under control. Thank The Lord no one was home. I did have the unfortunate opportunity to see a dog in the doorway I opened, had died. :( I'm sorry for the family losing their belongings :( but so thankful that school was still in session!!

Spring Fling Vox Box 2014

Thanks to Influenster for sending me the awesome Spring Fling Vox Box in the mail, for absolutely free, packed with awesome goodies to test and review! Here is my "good, bad and lovely" review! (My pictures are a bit jumbled since I'm new to this tumblr thing)

  The Kiss Everlasting French nails (The bad)

Although I love the way these make my nails look... they are too much of a pain for this plain-Jane mom of two toddler boys! I am a nail-biter so my nails hardly ever get to the point where you can see any white at all.. and although these were "real short" they weren't short enough for me! I was only able to tolerate them for roughly 20 hours (half sleeping time) before I cut them off! I couldn't text, pick up my infant or change poopy diapers without wondering if I was going to scratch him or hurt myself! The look is great, the sizing great, the glue also great! They just weren't a fit for my lifestyle!

NIVEA skin firming lotion (currently testing so no rating)

I know currently that the smell isn't over powering and it isn't at all greasy or gross feeling when applied! But I am currently only on day 2 to see if it actually firms anything.. so I cannot say if it is good, bad or lovely.

Rimmel Scandleyes Retroglam Mascara in "Extreme Black" (the lovely)

I have short, not very dark, pretty pathetic eyelashes! So I was pleased after trying this product! It's not clumpy, it spreads and coats my lashes well and makes me feel a bit girly to say the least! I love this product!

Softlips Pomegranate Blueberry Cube (the good!)

Love the scent/flavor and the container and how it feels on my lips! Nothing extraordinary but not bad at all! I will use it!

Also included was the Playtex sport tampons! And the air freshner via the labor day movie!

This may be a bit of TMI but I easily end up with UTIs so I will shy away from using the tampons because they are lightly scented! But the idea is great! I'll probably pass them onto my niece or someone like that.

I have yet to smell the peach pie freshner but if it smells awesome I plan to use it in my Dodge Journey to make it smell nice in there :)
