It’s been a hot second since I sketched anything for myself (I get so scared that I don’t know how to draw, which makes me depressed and feel less than) but I did it, just some random rough sketch that turned into ponyo’s mom and dad. Damn do I love drawing, it’s the best.

When I finished my illustrations of kakashi and posted it here a few weeks ago I looked through the hashtags (which I do for every piece because I’m always interested in what people might say, thank you for the wonderful comments) but someone said “ I can see him as a shinny sticker on my water bottle” I had not thought about making him into a sticker until I saw that comment. But I have delivered! He is up on my Etsy

INFO: - green eyes kitten's name is Emmit, blue eyes is July! a big part of Killing The Cop In Your Head that even a lot of ostensibly progressive adults absolutely do not want to do is controlling the urge to judge children at every opportunity. like oh are some kids hanging out skateboarding in the No Skateboarding Zone at the park? it becomes your business if one runs over your foot. otherwise shut the fuck up. and not just outwardly, you need to tell the critical voice in your head "actually this harmless moment of someone else's everyday life has nothing to do with me and no one has asked for my opinion"

Also, can I just say how much my asexual ass loves that Ed and Stede are friends? That's where so many romantic couples in media lose me. Like yeah, I get that these characters are into each other, fine, but do they like each other? Do they want to spend time together? Do you see them having midnight conversations? This is never an issue with Ed and Stede. These two never stop having conversations, and the conversations are crazy, and they are just so excited to spend time together and they genuinely like each other so much. They love each other, they like each other, they are into each other in all sorts of ways. Just two lovable idiots absolutely made for each other in every single way. 💖

The way Zerxus is the hands, but not just because he's a fighter. It's because he's a protector. He is his hands. Reaching out to people. Reaching down. Shielding. Trying to touch the night sky. He's all about doing. Doing the moment he can, without thinking. Doing anything to save his husband. The final straw that breaks him being that there's nothing else he can do.

THE WAYYY Patia is not just the knowledge. She's not just the brain. She's the mind, with all of its intricacies. She is a life lived in theory.
