I'm going to make a TF3 au and then do nothing with it I just wanted my thoughts out there. Obviously it would be Red (Reddy) vs Blu (Bidwell) fighting over Mann Co. wait even their names??? omg the cycle continues for real

Olivia Mann does not want to be Mann Co. She is the world's most reluctant Administrator/Ms Pauling ever. She's afraid of picking a side between her honorary uncles. She wants her uncles to stop fighting.

Who's fighting though? The mercs' kids being the TF3 team. Duh.

Everyone expected this. She's literally wearing Soldier's hat and Patton has an eye patch. I gave Georgia Soldier's eye color and Patton brown eyes because I think...? Zhanna has brown eyes

Tanya is also easily Spy. Tommy for whatever reason doesn't take off his swimming goggles even AFTER he changes out of his swimsuit. Also I have to imagine that Scout's kids take all remaining offense roles. So one will be Scout, and one will be Pyro.

Eye color note: why do all the kids just have black dots for eyes. Okay I gave two of them bright blue eyes, one a grey blue (go Tanya. literally become Spy). and I gave Tommy hazel eyes.

Tristan is more of a swimmer than a runner but he's got the leg muscles for it. He's our Scout. I WAS going to be boring and be like "Tabitha has glasses, make her Medic or Engineer" but then Tabby as Sniper came to me in a vision and it looks amazing. She gets prescription shades. Speedingbullet shippers win on this one. I know that one of Heavy's sisters was maybe flirting with Sniper but too bad. If they had a kid that kid can be Medic because Medic would be in their life since he's with heavy.

No one can out-Engineer a Conagher. Engie doesn't have kids though. So if he found out all the mercs kids were out there continuing the cycle he would just build a robot to be an engineer for them. dont worry about it.

Which leaves one role left. Who is Heavy.

I just reada really good fic but halfway through I realized "oh shit this is really familiar.... didn't I write something like this once?" And as I kept reading I kept predicting what happened next and the further I went the more convinced I was that they'd ripped off my story-

like, copied the ENTIRE plot and re-written it, just better than I had? The characters were more fleshed-out than mine were, and the POV was more interesting, and the pace made more sense- but it was MY STORY?

So close to the end I was like "holy shit.. do I message them? Ask if my story inspired theirs? Should I be angry? Flattered?" Cause their tags and description didn't mention me AT ALL, which, sure, it's fanfiction to begin with, but if you're using my work than at least credit me as inspo, right? Just to be courteous?

But I get to the end of the final chapter, and it's not finished, and I'm kind of disappointed cause I never finished my story and I was really immersed in their version now and had been looking forwards to seeing how they tied up my loose ends- so I scroll to the bottom to leave a comment, and.

It's MY URL.
