i know we joke about it, but how disturbing is it that a woman's face that is considered "naturally beautiful" by men, is actually a face that has been completely altered with subtle makeup, and that men often perceive women that have no makeup on as sickly-looking and tired. and i have to wonder what the consequences of associating makeup with health, both mental and physical, will be in the long run.
