Realising the ten page research paper you spent one month researching for school is shorter than a quick fanfic prologue you wrote in one afternoon is a weird feeling

That moment when you actually just want to write a 1k, maybe 1,5k, prologue for a fic, but then you end up with a nearly 3k unfinished chapter with a bunch of angst and fluff and attention on a ship you originally had in the background, but now you’ve got this far, so you can’t really stop.

Playing loud hype music while sitting in bed at 1 am writing a fic with LEDs like a club and just vibing, it’s honestly chill. You should try it if you haven’t yet
