ttrpg player pro tip- just tell your GM when you have a plot in mind for your character. Ask for events to happen. Walk up and say "I want my evil brother to show up and be a huge fight and I try to save him from himself." Your GM will ADORE having a whole encounter outlined for her, you'll get to have an awesome scene play out, you'll be invested, your GM will be invested, it'll be memorable. Hopefully, just don't be foreceful.

The idea that you and your GM will be able to like, psychically intuit each other's ideas for character arcs is bullshit. This is a collaborative relationship; communicate!!

Well, it's official! According to my surgeon's office, I'll be getting GRS this year! Still waiting for an official word from the scheduling team but I should hear back by the end of the week

lol i hate today’s era of absolutely zero nuance takes. a friend didn’t behave exactly as you’d wanted them to? cut them off. a guy didn’t text you back instantly bc he has his own life? he’s just giving you breadcrumbs. doing something makes you uncomfortable? don’t do it anymore. someone isn’t instantly available for you? disinterest. just absolutist statements that often don’t apply to the multilayer situations of everyday life. like. stop. literally just stop it

i know this is fucked up but man part of me thinks it would be really cool (and kind of creepy) if maya gets fully resurrected but then *adolin* dies so she's just like "Nah not this time I know the trick now" A mix of instinct and desperation makes her "reverse" what they were doing before and like. It Works. But things get Fucky (I figure Adolin becomes some kind of Invested Entity, technically, and also becomes "more sprenlike" in a similar vein to a spren becoming more humanlike) not a normal radiant, not a corrupted spren radiant, but Some Secret Third Thing that *isn't* the Secret Third Thing we actually expected and makes everyone else Constantly Baffled Cultivation: hey what the fuck is going on here Maya: i thought YOU would know
